I was facing a HUGE back taxes bill, and was overwhelmed at the possiblilties, mostly bad. My CPA refereed me to a company that I tried contacting 3X's and never got a response. I recently launched a small business in California where laws around working with independent contractors are especially confusing. I would have given a zero star review if I could to Andrea Cisneros from RJS Tax Law Firm in San Diego. If I had to choose one word to describe her is INCOMPETENT. Got nothing but lies and promises that were never kept. Started with 5k ended up spending more than 35k they just milked me every month on all types of charges. Never got anything done they just consult between themselves and send you the bill. Horrible experience! Please go somewhere else. I came to them for help and they took advantage of my situation due to a Bad Divorce and lost everything to the IRS. They only care about the money. Also she has no knowledge how liens work the sale of my property fell through because she thinks Title should pay only the IRS but they need to transfer the new owners a clean title and all liens should be satisfied. She blamed the Escrow Company couldn't even admit she was wrong. Even tried charging me an extra 10k for the work done. Even though the sale didn't go through. PLEASE DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. She was always accusing me, trying to collect payments, never made me feel like she had my back. Didn't even negotiate with the IRS. I'm very disappointed. I will never forget this. She literally stole from me. It's a scam. read more

I received a "wonderful" audit letter from the IRS. I decided to try and tackle IRS on my own, what a mistake. After the first meeting with the IRS auditors, I realized I needed someone who specializes in audits. The audit meeting ended at approximately 7pm. I left there in a state of panic. I called to get information about the ERC (tax credit) and Devon Arabo took about 15 minutes to discuss my business and make sure he fully understood our circumstances before making a recommendation - and recommended against applying. He explained that our situation was unusual and even if we were at first granted the credit (and thus his firm would get paid!) we could be subject to an audit later and an auditor may make a different decision about eligibility and we could end up in a situation where we could have to pay it all back, with a 25% fine.
