Got hit on my way home. Since it's a Friday afternoon the other driver's insurance adjustor wouldn't contact me until Monday. My car was not drivable and I didn't obtain road side assistance with my insurance. I'm thinking since I don't have AAA it'll cost over $100 to tow my car. I look on yelp and see RJ's has great reviews. I call and I'm told a driver will be out in 20 mins and it'll cost $60. The driver came in exactly 20 minutes and called me prior to arriving as requested. He was kind and efficient. The gentleman who answered the phone and the driver who came out were both great. AAA never failed us before in our 31 years of membership, but the towing company they sent refused to pull our classic car out of the garage, calling it "inaccessible." The tow truck drivers said they couldn't risk damaging the car or hurting themselves. We called Riverside Carburator who said if anybody could do it, RJ's Towing could. We called RJ's and sure enough, their expert, Mike, carefully examined the garage, the car, and the wrought iron gate. Excellent service! With the many stresses of car troubles it was a relief that getting our car towed home didn't have to be one of them. Pricing was great, Ryan was helpful and very nice with calculating the distance and price for our tow. After calling around we went right back to RJ's and we were met at our vehicle in less than 30minutes. Joshua who helped us was a wonderful character. Our son was overjoyed our car was getting a tow and Joshua greeted him and interacted with him with the same excitement. Joshua was helpful when we first herd of and had trouble finding our tow hook for our vehicle (this was new to us). Last night my husband had a blowout on the fwy. He managed to get to a safer place and needed to be towed. He has a huge heavy work truck and a flatbed truck was the only solution. We called around for over an hour looking for service, insurance assistance also called around and no one was available for 2-3 hours and was extremely expensive. We finally called RJ's towing in Riverside and he rushed right over to my husband and tried to tow my husband. He was there in 20 minutes. I say tried because my husbands work truck was too heavy for his flatbed, which the driver was skeptical to begin with when I called. Even though he was concerned he might not be able to tow, he still went to try! After an unsuccessful attempt, Ryan the driver/owner, wouldn't let my husband pay for the hookup or the time he took. He wouldn't take a penny after all his efforts. Great guy and honest company!!!!! Even though we had to keep waiting for another service....I still would recommend this company over anyone.
