Baby K loved it, and when she fell, on the rubber "ground," she was fine and wanted to keep playing. This is a really neat park that nicely bridges natural and active areas. There's a great view of…read moreseveral ponds that are full of birds and surrounded by some bird houses. It's really relaxing to watch the water and wildlife from the bridges. There are several athletic fields, including some very nice baseball diamonds, and a shelterhouse with restrooms. The playground is located near the ponds and is extremely cool! It is nicely worked into the landscape, taking advantage of varying heights with a lot of neat ways to get up and down to the various levels, from boulders to jump on, giant stone steps to take, slides, stumps to step on, and the like. There is a great zip line that kids can easily work themselves, and it really picks up some great speed. There are climbing walls, nets, and musical elements. It looks like there is a really nice water play area during the warmer months - it has a nice flow down the hill, over rocks, under logs, and ending in a sand area. We definitely want to come back again when it's warm to check that out. A paved multi-use trail is also available. We really enjoyed this park!

Looking like a castle from the parking lot, it is big, with assorted equipment for all ages. Several benches for parents to relax in the shade while their kids go nuts. Swings, slides, "rocks" to climb, rope bridges, etc., etc. Baby K had a blast. Small drinking fountain outside, not very toddler-friendly, so bring a water bottle. There are restrooms not far away in the park. Plenty of parking.

The larger playground, called the Discovery Playground, has a whole lot of options: slides, swings (tire and standard), climbing structures, monkey bars, dinos to ride on, and a whole lot more! Personally, my wife and I are at the age that we don't use the park very often. However, when our grandkids were here this past weekend, they wanted to go to "that nice park" you took us to last time we were here (over a year ago). Millstone Creek Park offers a little of everything. Nice assortment of playground equipment; accessible; a variety of activities; sports fields; nature/wetlands area; picnic shelter and restrooms. Plenty of parking. My only suggestion for improvement would be the addition of a few more benches for the grandparents who bring their grandkids to the park.

Not much of a much. Maybe it is being rebuilt? But there is a small building with bathrooms and what looks like it will be a nature center, and tons of trails up and down the hills. Surrounded by development, but fairly quiet, at least on an early spring weekday afternoon. Saved because of its creeks and hills and gullies, surely. Lots of shale outcrops, some decent elevation changes, well-developed paths mixed with more basic ones, decent parking. Far from our usual routes, but worth a detour.

It probably had more but that's what we saw with the time we had. We spent over an hour playing and site seeing. This really is a great outdoor space.

There was plenty of seating/places to set up your seat, and plenty of parking, including an overflow lot across the street. There appears to be a kids play area and at least one set of restrooms, seasonally available. The night I went, the weather was perfect, and there was plenty of shade in the amphitheater, but my friend indicated that isn't always the case, so plan accordingly!
