Five stars for the Roadhouse Pub! After hiking all day and basically being up since 2 a.m. their time -- which was like 1 a.m. California time to us -- this ended up being the perfect little place to relax and recharge. Me and one of the other hiking Baddies came in wanting something a little more quiet and low-key after such a long day. We shared the buffalo cauliflower appetizer and the Philly cheesesteak with fries, and honestly it hit the spot perfectly -- hearty, rich, and comforting after hiking. I also ordered the huckleberry mocktail and the waiter was able to add a shot of vodka for me, which made for the perfect relaxing little buzz. My friend ordered an IPA that she really enjoyed too. Service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was nice and cozy. They do have balcony seating overlooking the small town, which looked really cute and I can totally see why people love sitting out there. The only thing is smaller groups may have to share tables with strangers, which just wasn't our vibe after such a long day, so we stayed inside at one of the round tables instead. We were waking in downtown Jackson Hole looking for a nice place to sit, eat and have a drink. In the middle of the square we saw Roadhouse, it looked lively so we decided to check it out. We were seated immediately and it took some time to be greeted but that gave us time to review the menu. We started off with drinks and a pretzel and then had the Buffalo cauliflower and the Nashville Hot Chicken. The food came out very fast and each item was really good. The pretzel was really good, large and had spicy mustard and queso with it. The cauliflower was nicely cooked and had a good sauce on it. They have a deep and eclectic menu that includes Laab Gi Lettuce Wraps, Ahi Tuna Poke , Elk & Pork Spring Rolls, a Bison Burger, and BBQ. We split an order of the Venison Tostadas ($21) with Roasted Onions and Peppers, Chimichurri, Tajin Crema, Queso Fresco, Cilantro, and Toasted Sunflower Seeds. The order included three tacos loaded with tasty meat. Word of warning- that Chimichurri sauce is pretty potent. We also split a Bison Burger with fries ($27) with Bourbon Bacon Jam, Arugula, Fried Onions, and Cheddar. The burger was great -big and easily splitable and delicious. The fries were excellent and came in a jumbo portion. The only disappointing feature of our lunch was a whopping $5 charge for a soft drink. Family of four that showed up for dinner. We were immediately sat. However, 15 minutes go by and no one had been by our table to wait on us (they were not busy in the slightest). Several tables were sat after us and waited on. The wife and I noticed a server, hostess, and manager were looking at us and appeared to be discussing our table. Finally a manager came by got us our drinks and mentioned someone would be by to get our order. Manager brought us our drinks himself and was quick. Then another 20-25 minutes go by and still no waiter or waitress to wait on us all the while several other tables were being waited on. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Had such a good time here. The food and beer were on point. We even got some beers to go. It started snowing when we go there so we went outside on the balcony and took photos. What a cute view of the arches and the cowboy bar in the background. We went to another brewery in town but this one was our favorite due to the location and the beers. The food was fantastic! Especially for an eatery. Though little did need to be improved upon. The burgers our party had ordered had some sort of Jam on them, which caused the buns to easily fall apart mid-bite. Normally this is a non-issue after half the burger is consumed, but after the first bite is excessive. A lighter layering of the Jam would do wonders for the longevity of the eating experience. The cheesesteaks were glorious! The bread was definitely the best I could ever recount in my life, which made the actual fillings just that much better. On top of that, with the amount of fries, having a spicy sriracha Ketchup would have been great. As it is a Pub and eatery, The alcohol was great! The in-house brews are nothing to pass over and should be tried when coming. (The Hey-Zeus is a stellar Mexican brew) The atmosphere is fairly loud, which is nice but having that paired with the service, which is a little quiet to hear in the establishment, Makes it hard to understand what the staff is saying. They're very polite and low-key, which is nice for wanting to talk with the company you came with, rather than stressing about the staff hounding you about refills or how good the food is. I cannot recommend enough, and once the minor issues have been buffed out, Deserves a 5/5 star rating read more

That food was excellent. Bison burger with a bacon jam. Delicious. Staff at busy times can be overwhelmed but they got it done. The atmosphere is a restaurant bar setting. They did accommodate our 2lb Yorkie, which was great. Pets allowed as ling as they are smaller in nature and fit in a stroller or travel pack. This was a relief. The staff seem very nice and friendly. The food was great with plenty for each portion. It is a bar feeling but we ate at a high top table away from that feeling. You can see plenty of games and the tanks where they make their beer. The issue that takes it to a 3 instead of a 4 is that they had 1 bartender and ALL drinks went to him. I just had a glass of wine and that had to wait on all of his cocktails to simply pour wine. That is a small matter and I recommend this place. Lots of fun. read more

Food is pretty good but the portions are small. Caesar Salad was $14 and adding chicken was $10. I don't think I've ever paid more than $15 total for a chicken caesar.. the bowl was about 1/2 full with lettuce and had maybe 4 pieces of chicken on it? Lettuce wraps were good - would recommend appetizers for an entree. Service was ok. Waitress did not refill waters and we have been outside and camping so that was a bit frustrating but what can you do. It's a brewery, but we were never asked if we wanted a second drink. LOL. Came here last year post hiking in the Grand Tetons and thought it was quite good. Maybe it was because I needed fuel after long hike. This visit in late May 2024 was just okay. Service was a little slow and not too helpful (not rude but not super knowledgeable of the menu). We decided on sharing a burger and side salad and added side tots (why not) and enjoyed the food. The beer was just okay. They were out of many of the ones I wanted to try like the Plasma Hazy, and sadly they don't offer a can pour from the four packs they sell (would have been nice but not sure if that is WY law or local policy). Okay so maybe we had a 5-star experience because it was 3pm on a Thursday, but our girls trio ordered the wings, the Buffalo cauliflower, the bison burger, the mac & cheese, and the elk tostadas and everything was above average tasty. We love roadhouse beers! We always try to stop when we're in Jackson. My favorite beer is the Mountain Jam with a close second of Walrus. The brussel sprouts were delicious and soft but crispy and flavorful, YUM. The pulled pork tater tots had similar taste to the brussel sprouts but with that tater tot taste. Came for dinner one night with the family. Had to wait maybe ~15 minutes for a table so not too bad. Had a beer and stood while we waited. We started off with the pretzel which was a decent size and was easy to share. Cheese sauce was ok, needs to be served with more mustard. Beers were good, they had a great selection of IPAs. We all tried a variation of them, our favorite being the Wilson. Dinner wise I had the Korean fried chicken, which came with cheesy grits and kimchi brussel sprouts so an interesting take on it. We ate at the bar and while the bartender was balancing a lot of requests, she did an excellent job taking care of all 10 of us. This included multiple requests and splitting a lot of checks, so thank you! Atmosphere: - Love the upstairs and the balcony seating that overlooks downtown and includes a beautiful view of the mountains. - The brewery was very clean and had ample seating. Drinks: - The drinks were very good. We had a large mixture of items including some local brews and whiskey to your more traditional espresso martinis. The drinks were also reasonably priced with a good selection of items. Food: - We ordered the whipped feta appetizer and the zaatar salad with steak. The whipped feta was flavorful. The olive tapenade was the perfect topping. The focaccia was good but perhaps a little to crisp and slightly chewy. This was the one thing I didn't love. Close out our tab when we moved to balcony. Summarized as a "so so" experience. The good: was our server Kendra was friendly and catered to our needs, the atmosphere was fun- patio, TVs for games (unfortunately nothing on), and the food was alright- just alright. My biggest issue was the dishes were overpriced, I guess I could have paid attention more but I was shocked when I got my bill (this whole week our bills came to $50-75 for our family of 3 but $114 here after tax). The Jackson Philly at $25 for a small portion... and trout at $30 and my wife nearly cut herself on the bones. Food took awhile to come out (45 min from seating so maybe 30 from ordering). $10 for queso but probably the best flavor so alright with that and $10 for children's chicken fingers. Great upper level pub in the Jackson square. Really delicious drink menu. My husband rated the Old Fashioned as one of his top 10. Food wise... GET THE ELK TOSTADAS! There is a walk up some curving stairs, my elderly mother did make it but it took her some time and it was a little hard on her knees. There was only a 15 minute wait after putting our names down, not bad at all. The appetizer and wings were tasty, I probably should've just ordered two helpings of wings for myself and called it my dinner. I got the Jackson Cheesesteak which comes with shaved Elk and unfortunately it was just overpowered with the IPA beer cheese sauce; I pulled out some the elk meat just to get a taste of it by itself but I couldn't taste anything. I had the cheesesteak and i wish it was more juicy and flavorful. it was pretty dry and I'm not a huge fan of cheese sauce so I didn't have any other options. The potato skins were not worth the money and were like 12$ for 3. So overpriced. I wouldn't get those again. The Mac and cheese was pretty good as well as the fries. The elk tostadas were pretty yum but kinda hard to eat. they needed more cilantro dressing as well.
