The Roadrunner Florist staff went above and beyond. I live outside the state of Arizona and I ordered (online) a floral arrangement from Roadrunner Florist (for a Celebration of Life memorial). Unbeknownst to me the delivery address was just outside of the delivery perimeters of of RF. Immediately upon receipt of my order I received a phone call from Tina at RF saying they don't deliver to the area I requested. So she searched and found a florist in the region who could. So Tina "forwarded" my order to this florist and the floral delivery happened seamlessly. I am from Oklahoma and searched on yelp to find a flower shop for my sister who is in the hospital in Phoenix. I chose Road runners flower shop. The woman I talked to was incredibly friendly and helpful. My sister changed hospital rooms and we called to tell them that but they already knew because they had called ahead. They also sent me a text message with the finished bouquet! None of the flower shops around Tulsa seem to do that. My mom said the flowers smelled absolutely wonderful and were incredibly beautiful. Their prices were very reasonable as compared to another four-star flower shop I looked at in Phoenix. There is a $17 delivery fee which seems high, but things are a lot cheaper here in Oklahoma. I'm a resident of downtown Phoenix and was looking for a nice local florist to use for Valentine's Day. In fact I've had the thought for quite some time to get set up on a weekly flower service with a local florist and always have flowers on the dinner table for my family. It was about a week before Valentine's Day and so I went online and found Roadrunner Florist. The reviews and the pictures were spectacular so I decided to use them. When I called, I spoke to a very nice woman on the telephone who was extremely helpful and assured me I would have a beautiful bouquet of roses and lilies delivered on Valentine's Day. Delivery was great, I think the flowers showed up about 10 AM and the bouquet was one of the prettiest that I have ever seen in my life. The quality of the flowers were amazing but the setting was old-school and old-fashioned, however the flowers themselves were absolutely stunning. Three days after Valentine's Day the roses and lilies started to wilt and only after four days there was no life left in the flowers and they were dead. I really thought nothing of it because I just thought flowers die fast being a normal guy so I didn't say anything about it. A few weeks went by and my girlfriend went out to the mailbox and we got a card in the mail from Roadrunner Florist asking for a review. While sitting at the table she gave me the card and told me to leave a review because those flowers were garbage and they died so fast, which got my attention. So I started asking about the flowers and she said how beautiful they were but they just had no life and they died right away. Are you ready for this??? This is the part that I will tell you I spent $182 on these flowers...... so naturally now I'm pissed and at this point my girlfriend and I actually got into a debate over how long flowers were supposed to last, so she drove up to Safeway and bought one dozen, generic, white roses and I think she paid $20 for them put them in a vase. We decided to wager a nice dinner at Durants to see which flowers lasted the longest. Well, today is day nine.......the Safeway flowers are so pretty, so vibrant, so alive and have bloomed so wonderfully.... I can't help but say my girlfriend was right and I was wrong. Roadrunner Florist, your flowers were amazing upfront but I feel like I overpaid by about $160 and you cost me a steak dinner. The Safeway flowers are 3 times the quality. These flowers are equally as beautiful and have lasted three times as long. Moral of the story. I over paid and Roadrunner Florists under delivered. Happy Valentines Day to Durants!
