Some were always willing to chat and share stories about the items on display. The store is a treasure trove! you will find everything from vintage collectibles to unique gifts and one-of-a-kind decor. I spent hours browsing through the mix of furniture, decor, and collectibles. The atmosphere is cozy, easy to get lost in the nostalgia :-) There is limited parking available. A lot of the things are not really "antiques" but I can imagine one would get as a retro deco accessories for home and restaurants?? Great stop for if you're passing by en route, but otherwise, not worth a drive out. It's a two story building (kind of like a farm house?), but I felt the prices were a bit steep. There wasn't the biggest variety available in terms of home decor/ housewares, but they had some good antique collectors there (i.e. WW2 items, uniform pieces, old toys etc). A note for my fellow tummy issues peeps/ tiny bladder friends - they also didn't have a bathroom inside. They only have a single port-a-potty outdoors. Most two story stores will have a washroom available for the comfort of the shoppers - especially since most people would want to take their time to wander through. I can't imagine wanting to use the portables in bad/ cooler weather, and it's generally just kinda icky. For that reason alone, I wouldn't want to return. Definitely a more particular reasoning for me, but I also didn't find they had the kind of selections that I was interested in. Still, it's always worth checking out. You may be looking for different things than I usually do.

I had a few things to donate - which is around the LHS of the building - you'll need to back out as there wasn't much room to turn around. Seems they support both local and abroad causes, which is super. Staff seemed friendly, and are made up of a large portion of volunteers. I saw them online in a search and got there a little too close to closing as it was a bit of a hike. They let me take a quick 5 min to look around. Planning on going back.

Like every thrift store, one needs to keep checking in to see the new stock. They take books! Which many thrift shops do not. No wheelchair access, as it is a very old building, each room is a different section - toys room, clothes room, furniture room - it was a great idea. They've done the best with what they have. A portion of the proceeds also goes to charity from how we understand it at the time of this post, which is a bonus.
