My friends and I meet up here once a month, so we can have a sit and a chat while the children are…read moreplaying. It sometimes gets very busy, to the extent that seating can be a problem. Also the food is bad and the service is AWFUL, resulting in messy tables, generally piled up with cups and plates. On the other hand, the children, ranging from ages 10months to 6 yrs, seem to love it. They love the food, due to it being sandwiches and crispswhich child wouldn't??We always find it reasonably priced. The parking is a nightmare, as its in a busy industrial area it's always busy and lots of cars moving about. My children have all been to parties there too, which they all seem to enjoy. These also seem to be a fair price. If they could get more staff to clean up a bit, and sort out the parking this place would be loads better.

There are a couple of benches in the play area, along with swings, roundabout device and play frames. All the equipment is fairly new and not defaced. This is a lovely location as it is on the edge of open fields and there is a football pitch near by.

Its play park was installed by the Friends of the Park and contains a good range of age-appropriate equipment. The area is fenced with sprung gates, there's seating for parents etc and its a large space. Next to it is an adventurous area designed for older kids, but used by younger too, with wooden equipment including a large climbing frame which is quite challenging, plus an aerial zip ride always in use. The general park setting includes a pond with ducks, picnic tables and many trees, with pathways for walks. Parking with toilets plus - car parks either end of park, one free. Also crazy golf. Another toilet in the park next to Hotham Park House built by founder of Bognor, Sir Richard Hotham, in 18th C. Alas not in public hands but a fine sight.

Buy a little bag of animal feed, run past the creepy tanks full of spiders and snakes and then you'll find several pens full of the cutest animals - if you've got kids be prepared for them to declare themselves veggie from now on! There are goats and pigs and even llamas! They have a lovely cafe here as well, with rockbottom prices. We have had lovely sandwiches made fresh, followed by slices of home-made cake and lashings of ginger beer! If it's rainy, make sure you bring your wellies - it can be a bit muddy. And some handwipes if you get fussy about goat saliva all over your hands. But for a some time spent playing with goats that only come up to your knees - it's well worth the visit!
