I normally am not one to eat at the hotel. However, sitting at the hotel looking at Yelp reviews around me this place just below my room was a clear option. Their food was incredible quality! Ambiance of a genuine fire and classic bar makes this place special. It is a tad on the pricey side but worth it!

Holy cow... a home run. The guac was light and so tasty... we shared a Cesar salad that had amazing garlic. The tuna was perfect... so tasty and flavorful. The shrimp and grits was a huge portion... so many different flavors... great server and a good time.

We came here before the magic show as we had not been in some time. It is very close so it is handy. Our server was friendly and quick and the food was all very good. The cornbread is amazing and the drinks were solid. It is pricey but not so much so that you have to take a loan out. The food is worth it but given it's location and cost we save it for special nights out. I highly recommend them if you are in the area, the have a pretty wide selection of food and drinks and everything we have tried in our 2 visits has been very good.

Rotisserie chicken with cornbread stuffing and green beans. 10/10

Great food. We got there with a group of 4 during happy hour, no reservation, but bar was open seating. Bar top was nice, felt like we were sitting in the dining room with the great service we received. Wine and cocktails were great. Happy hour prices were reasonable. We all tried a bunch of different apps. All great! Tortilla soup was awesome. Didn't photograph it, but it's poured tableside, tons of flavor and avocado is plentiful. Best tortilla soup I've ever had, tbh. Big ass burger was on happy hour and it was huge. Chile Verde also on happy hour and was also a huge hit. We tried the queso on HH as well, and it was made with the pork from the Chile Verde. Queso was a bit thin, served in the skillet, but got thicker after it cooled after a few minutes. Flavor was great. We ordered the main menu rotisserie chicken that came with a side of cornbread stuffing, it was phenomenal. 10/10. Chicken was juicy and well seasoned. Hubby got the 22oz ribeye. Cooked perfectly, had a great crust. Also delicious and worth the price. Creme brulee dessert was also great! Highly recommend this location. Parking wasn't bad, parked on street nearby.

We ordered bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeños, iceberg BLT salad, asparagus, and ribeye (not the best steak ever, but good). All the food was great, as was the employee who helped us with our meal. Prices were reasonable. Ambiance - nice, not uppity.

This was my first time here. We dined during their Fourth of July buy-one-get-one-free special. We were able to sit in the bar area and take the opportunity to explore their Happy Hour Menu. The Happy Hour Menu is a tad limited; however, we made the best of it. I had their Classic Vodka Martini. My dining partner initially ordered the Little Larry; however, the freeze machine was not up to full speed, so she opted for the RF Margarita with Mango. My martini was what I expected. Nothing fancy but strong on the vodka side. Her margarita was not great, leaving a noticeable aftertaste. Our server brought some simple syrup which helped. Eventually, she did get the Little Larry though. For our starter we had cornbread which was very appealing to the palate. It was perfect portion wise for the two of us. Alas, the main course. She opted for the 22oz Cowboy Cut Ribeye, medium rare. I selected the 16oz New York Strip, medium rare as well. Both were scrumptious and satiated our healthy appetites. I will say, mine was a tad more pink than I wished, yet fulfilling as well. The ambiance was like being on a movie set made to appear from the 20's with a touch of modernity that added additional flair. Our server, Caitlin, I think I spelled it right, was great and very accommodating to my dinner partner regarding her cocktail. Very kind. My first impression of Roaring Fork was good. I liked how you do not have to sit at a table to enjoy the BOGO, which afforded us the opportunity to partake in their Happy Hour. My suggestion would be to add a few more cocktails on the HH menu. If you are in the mood for a nice dinner in a throwback/modern setting with friendly and accommodating staff, go try the Roaring Fork DT. I feel you won't be disappointed .

Visited Roaring Fork for their Memorial Day buy one get one free special. It was a great deal because you can sit in the bar area and also take advantage of the happy hour specials. We started off with the Small Larry frozen margarita topped with grand mariner and Frozen RF Margarita with mango. For the starter, we split my favorite salad, the spinach Waldorf salad made with spinach, mixed greens, avocado, grapes, hardboiled eggs, white cheddar, dates, candied walnuts, apples and sweet onion dressing. For the entree, I had the seasonal fish which was the halibut with a burre blanc sauce. For the $60 price point the fish was not extraordinary and there was a miscommunication that the fish would be prepared with a crust but the fish I received just had the sauce and would have preferred the crust as described. Also ordered the bone-in cowboy cut ribeye all natural black angus steaks specially aged by fred linz in chicago hand cut in house served with chipotle demi, chimichuri, and shallot butter. My steak was missing the chimichurri sauce but was prepared medium rare to perfection and the meat just melted in your mouth it was so tender. We had the seasonal dessert which was a peach cobbler with blackberry ice-cream. Roaring Fork has a great reward program and you can earn points for discounts to your bill. There were a few issues with our dining experience including the miscommunication with the fish preparation and missing chimichuri sauce on the steak, but overall an enjoyable dining experience.

I stayed at the hotel that is connected to this restaurant and this place was highly recommended. The environment was classy and quaint. My husband had dinner, and we each tried the steak. I had the 8 oz filet and it was perfectly cooked medium rare. It was juicy and flavorful. We shared 2 sides, and the green chili macaroni was outstanding. The service was friendly and timely. We liked it so much that we will enjoy our New Year's Eve meal here.

Took my daughter here for a birthday dinner. Per reservation we were seated immediately. We had the skillet cornbread for appetizer. It had enough green chile to give it a nice flavor, but steered away from being too spicy. The texture was crisp outside and soft inside. Excellent. She had the filet mignon with bearnaise sauce. We asked for medium rare, they cooked it rare. The bearnaise sauce was somewhat heavy on the vinegar. Missed some on the execution, but it did not ruin the meal nor evening. We shared mashed potatoes, green chile mac n cheese, and asparagus. I had the tortilla soup for entree, as had eaten a hearty lunch earlier. The green chile Mac n cheese was the best side. Outstanding. Mashed were standard fare. The asparagus seemed to be served plain. We helped it out with salt & pepper, made it fine. The presentation on the tortilla soup was fantastic. The main plate was a tower of rotisserie chicken encased by avocado and surrounding fried tortilla strips. The waiter separately had a dressing cup filled with the soup broth. They placed the chicken/avocado mound plate in front of you, then poured the broth into the 'moat' area between the mound and the edge of the soup plate. Bites incorporating all ingredients were excellent. We had huckleberry cheesecake for dessert. Served on a plate with 'Happy Birthday' written in chocolate, and atop a raspberry drizzle underneath. The texture of the cheesecake was literally perfect - and one cannot go wrong, ever, with huckleberry anything! Delectable. The lighting inside was perfect. Muted lights were bright enough, making it easy to see, yet dark enough to have a relaxed pleasantness to the atmosphere. This was a 5-star experience. Our server was very pleasant, and service was on point throughout. Definitely recommend for a nice dinner or special occasion.

The Roaring Fork is an upper-scale business friendly restaurant not only for your high rollers but a great place for a romantic night out. It's also a great place where can enjoy a nice dinner before a show at the Paramount Theatre. You can valet your vehicle there at the Stephen F Austin Royal Sonesta Hotel. I have dined here before but usually at the bar which has a atmosphere. But this time seated in the dining room section. It was not very crowded where seemed like everyone wants to hang out in the bar section. It was peaceful and quiet with great personalized service. The dinner menu had a nice selection of options and decided to order the Rotisserie Chicken. The chicken smelled and looked delicious and was very presentable. It has great color and texture sitting on top of cornbread stuffing, brussels sprouts and, and lemon garlic jus as described on the menu. It had great flavor and succulent not including the cornbread stuffing. It was really good. We definitely had a memorable experience.

Always wanted to try this restaurant. Finally came here with family visiting from out of town. Was very pleased with the quality of food and the service. The Atmosphere is chic and cozy. Makes for a great outing with family or friends, date night, or business events. They have indoors only. The waitress was lovely and very personable and professional. Food is excellent. We ordered cornbread for the table, and I got a margarita and the burger. Also tried their Mac and cheese. No complaints. Look forward to returning.

Roaring Form was sooo good. The service was great. I started with the Queso Puerco. It had so much flavor. Then kind of odd. I had the BLT salad. The most bacon I have ever had on a wedge salad. I then ordered for my entire the Green Chili stew with tortillas. It was awesome! The tortillas complimented the meal so well. Roaring Fork will be some place I recommend to my friends when they visit Austin. So good

So we thought we would make a whole night of it. Tiffany did make reservations for us for 7pm and even though this is a bar hopping neighborhood, even at 7pm it was pretty busy. Streets were full of people. Anthem had a vibe. I felt the energy as soon as I waked in. The cozy booths with the U shaped seating with plush green velvet fabric. Wait staff wore Hawaiian shirts. Sitting up behind me on a ledge was the Easter Island statue. Insert (Night At The Museum) here, dumb dumb give me gum gum. Anthem was our first stop tonight. Just drinks and a dinner. I ordered the Peach Fuzzy drink. Not too sweet, refreshing, peachy, and beautiful garnish of a flower. I ordered the Yummy Fries which looked like a salad. Gorgeous presentation. Fries were actually waffle sweet potatoes. Pickled ginger, sesame seeds, furikake, aïoli and a few other wonderful ingredients. Could not get over how beautiful everything looked. Presentation outstanding. Service delightful. Had a wonderful time at Anthem. We both did use the ladies rooms before leaving. Inside the bathroom there is a sign about safety and if you need assistants. I did take a picture of it. On our way out, Brian the manager, said good night to us and waved. The view at Nido is breathtaking, the lay out is nice and the seating is comfortable, even with children. The apps and drinks are 10/10. The mains are where we encountered problems. I ordered a petite filet and I have attached the picture below. They served me a New York strip ( obviously) and tried to pass it off as a filet. I have never had a filet come cut like this and you can tell by the meat this was a strip not a fillet. They said all of their filets come pre sliced like this. So that must mean they are passing off New York strips as a filet. Which is not only unethical but so disappointing. Don't have a filet on the menu if you're going to do this. Most people probably can't tell the difference but we could, easily. Managers were nice, but would not own that this was not the right cut of meat and insisted it was in fact a filet. Yall be the judge by the photo below. The "mushrooms" on the plate were also charred to an unrecognizable point. The only other steak we ordered at medium well was served medium rare. We also ordered biscuits that never came but we were not charged for them. I will say they did comp my steak and my husbands and gave me some dessert on the house, which we sincerely appreciated. Don't come here for dinner. Drinks and apps for the view and that's it!

It's pesto pasta. It's a classic. I appreciate the pomegranate seeds on the guacamole because it's original, it's clever, and it's different. We also ordered a special soda drink for our son, and it had a small black bug on top. I had them take it back and replace it. I kind of expected a "Listen, we apologize for the bug. Here's half off dinner," or something, but nothing. Service was fine, and it's a decent atmosphere. If you're looking for a place to sit and talk it's a great place, but if you want food or a drink go somewhere else.

The first thing that stood out was the beautiful ambiance. The restaurant offers both stunning indoor and outdoor seating, making it perfect for any occasion. Since we planned to bring our dog, we called ahead to confirm outdoor seating availability. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and promptly guided to the outdoor patio. Before we even had a chance to ask, the staff brought a bowl of water for our dog, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Another touch that made the evening special was that the staff acknowledged our son's birthday upon arrival and presented him with a birthday card signed by team members. It was a simple but incredibly sweet gesture that made him feel celebrated. For drinks, my husband ordered the Swedish Fish Punch, while I enjoyed the Family Business German Pilsner. For appetizers, we shared the Burrata and a salad that is no longer on the menu. The salad featured cashew butter and was absolutely delicious. Both appetizers were beautifully prepared, flavorful, and generously portioned for the three of us. For the main course, we decided to share two dishes. I wanted to try a vegetarian option, and our server was extremely helpful, offering several menu items that could be modified. I chose the Mafaldine pasta, and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. It was rich, flavorful, and unlike any pasta dish I've had before. Every bite was outstanding. My son ordered the salmon, which was equally delicious and perfectly cooked. Both dishes were satisfying and filling. Since we wanted to save room for dessert, sharing the entrees turned out to be the perfect decision. We ordered the Pistachio Crème Brûlée and Sticky Toffee Pudding, and the restaurant also surprised our son with a complimentary birthday cake complete with a candle. All three desserts were exceptional and a perfect ending to the meal. Eberly is definitely a high-end dining destination and an excellent choice for special occasions, celebrations, or gatherings with family and friends. The indoor and outdoor spaces are beautiful and spacious, the service is attentive and thoughtful, and every dish felt carefully crafted with unique flavors and attention to detail. What impressed me most was that every aspect of the experience--from the hospitality to the food and special touches--felt intentional and genuine. We left feeling celebrated, well-fed, and already looking forward to our next visit.

The turkey avocado sandwich (my husband enjoyed it) and the hot chicken sandwich was so good ( a little spicy but very well seasoned! My 9 yr old daughter had the chicken fingers kids meal (not pictured). She enjoyed it but the portions for the kids meal are a bit small so keep that in mind. All in all, we will definitely be back to try new items!

Pro tip: Check for daily happy hour times! Sunday HH is between 5 & 7!! On a Sunday!! A fun…read moresurprise. Dish Society is a solid spot to gather with a group at any time throughout the week. With a point system to accrue benefits over time, and at each visit, and impressive happy hour specials for both food and drinks, it's hard not to visit more than once. Every member of service either greeted us, or supported our needs with a smile. Calvin, especially, made sure every step of our experience from walking in through ordering was special. While we didn't indulge in the beverages, we enjoyed the $10 burger special which also came with fries! We paired this with a side of a $6 Caesar Salad (really tasty and thrown together with thinly sliced cabbage, roasted chickpeas, and popcorn chicken). Next time, I'd really love to try the truffle mac and cheese (which was also on HH). We weren't aware of the upcharge for swapping out the slice of American for Cheddar (+$1.50), which would've been nice to know ahead of time, since we both got burgers and wondered about the swap...but lesson learned. Also, BIG lesson learned...the parking validation is for only two hours! We were having such a lovely time at Dish Society, but exceeded the 2 hrs (by an extra hour) and got charged a significant amount for parking. Next time, we will certainly park on the street. We tried reasoning with the parking attendant and they wanted no business in understanding we were patrons of the restaurant. It was certainly an unexpected shock, and didn't leave the best final touch of our evening (specifically in that parking garage). It's unfortunate that we got penalized for enjoying our time at dinner.
