We were traveling in the area on I-10 and was looking for a place for lunch. We saw this place on Yelp and saw they had a big fish sandwich and my wife said "heck yeah". She ordered the big fish sandwich which was huge. She said it tasted great and so glad she ordered it! I ordered the Hot Ham and Swiss Cheese Sandwich. It was delicious! Loved the bread, the ham tasted really good and the cheese was good. The fries were not very good. Tasted like they were cooked a long time ago and warmed over and then served. The service was friendly but really she didn't come back to check on us until she brought the check. Understandable; they got slammed with a lot of kids from school that came in a sat down at the same time and all ordered. Only two waitresses were working. We will definitely be back for lunch or dinner next time we are in the area. We definitely recommend you get the Big Fish Sandwich! You won't be disappointed! read more

Very good all around, however, it is no longer grouper in their Big fish sandwich ,but Swai, a fish from Southeast Asia. Big disappointment ..Swai has a reputation as being unclean (!look up how it is raised ) and inconsistent. But , it is cheap and mellow. It makes me sad as this was one of my favorite places for fish. read more

Since I started going many years ago, they have increased the menu prices three times and now start charging customers to use their debit cards! That's all it took for me to take them off my frequent dining list. I never had a bad meal there and I can't slight them for that but if you get charged by a credit card company to use credit cards that's one thing but debit cards are the same as cash and you don't get charged a surcharge for using cash, at least not yet. Sorry Robbie's, it was good while it lasted but some things don't last forever. read more

I had the flounder basket (yummers) with the home made fries ... buttery smooth and delish. Family raved about the French onion soup. We were looking for a place not on the interstate and not part of a chain. Robbie's popped up and sounded like what we were looking for. This place was a real treat. For a pop in lunch on a Monday the menu was fantastic. I had the flounder basket and my husband had the blackened cobia. Fish was delicious and cooked to perfection. Fries were fresh cut. They were busy but we were able to sit right away. Service was great. Prices were pleasantly surprising. We have spent more at a fast food chain for a nasty crap burger and Luke warm fries. Came in and was immediately greeted with signs being very pro gun. It was everywhere. Everywhere i looked i saw things that were pro gun. Pro trump. And so much more. I just didnt want my kids to be indoctrinated with such none sense. Like im not against it or anything but think about the children. This isnt the America i know. And the food tasted so greasy and overcooked. I couldn't believe the smell if of the restaurant either. It smelt like the frying oil had never been changed. I could smell it from the front desk. What a find! Well worth the short drive off Rte 10. The freshest food and the nicest staff. Chicken fingers can't be beat, great cheeseburger, delicious potato and mac salads and endless iced tea (even to go!!). Can't recommend this little spot enough! Local diner you'll regret passing by. Small storefront restaurant but don't let that deter you. Really good food here. I eat here a lot and have never had a bad meal. The blue cheese burger is a delight and cooked to order, they will even make it Medium Rare if you ask. Homemade Sweet potato and regular potato fries and chips, it's hard to decide because they are all so good. I love their onion ring sauce to dip the homemade chips in. The French onion soup is homemade and hot!!! It's wonderful. I am reluctant to order a Reuben Sandwich most places but there they get it right, the corned beef is thinly sliced to perfection. I must sound like a fan but that's because I am. I eat out a lot and this remains one of my favorite places anywhere. I believe it is the best restaurant in Live Oak or anywhere nearby. Stopped in for lunch with my boyfriend after debating on our usual choices in town for too long. It was a great and welcome change. Love the atmosphere, a very simple diner-like spot with nice people and funky collectibles everywhere. The food was great! I had a Reuben, my favorite sandwich, and it was the best in town by far.
