The entire meal was well executed, correctly cooked and appropriately seasoned. We ordered the Traditional. They offer larger portion sizes of this breakfast, but the Traditional is a large amount of food on it's own and a great deal for the price. The owners were a very high-energy man and woman working the counter and grill. The decor is kind of 1950's/1960's post-war Baby Boomer look and feel, but with photos of punk pin-ups. It's definitely a unique look for a random cafe, but it works. Thank you again Finchley Kitchen for the fantastic meal and excellent service! We recommended you to some local American Ex-pats we were staying with, so hopefully they become regulars.

The front of the café is at ground level and the back is up a small flight of around six to eight stairs. It is long at the far end are several luxurious leather settees and many leather armchairs. The coffee is excellent and for tea drinkers there is a fair selection, including Earl Grey. They do inclusive deals of any tea or coffee and a croissant in the morning, or any coffee and tea with a pastry in the afternoon. They also do more substantive meals and they hope to eventually include a full Tapas menu. I only wished I lived nearer as it would then be my main watering hole. They have 3 non-dairy milk options: soy, almond, oat. Our server was a delightful chap, very knowledgeable with his coffee and skillful at what he does. He made an amazing latte with almond milk, very creamy and hands down the smoothest I've ever had. Looking forward to going back.

What I really liked about this shop is that everyone seemed to know each other - people were greeted with names, a little gossip exchanged, etc. We sat down for a coffee, as we were waiting for the bathroom showroom across the street to open up. While we were sitting down, they stocked up the display cabinet with freshly baked doughnuts, that were filled with raspberry jam. They came in bite-size and big-size...we couldn't resist and ordered a couple. They were just delightful. (In Germany we call these "Berliner"). This is a really lovely find and I will definitely stop by next time I'm in the area. Mind you, it's not one of the now ever so popular fancy bakeries that open up all over London. This is a proper old-school bakery and I really appreciate this!

The doughnuts are great. Everything very fresh. We also enjoy eating in - choice of anything in the shop. Staff very friendly and helpful.
