What really stood out to me was the high quality of care and the results. From start to finish, the entire team made sure I was comfortable and well-informed. They took the time to answer all of my questions and addressed any concerns I had, which made a huge difference in easing my nerves. The procedure and recovery were much smoother than I expected, and now, two months post-op, I both look and breathe significantly better. As a past patient, I called in today to try and set up an appointment for a similar issue I've had several years ago. After a few moments on the phone with the staff, I was told that I was no longer an existing patient and that I'm considered a "new" patient since it had been several years since I've been in. The secretary said, "ok, since you're new, let me see what times I have available for you". I replied "well, I'm not "new" but I guess I am according to your system". She replied with snarkiness "tomato/tomahto". Well, that set me off. Anyone with such a dismissive and callous tone should not be working in the health care industry. Our medical conditions are stressful enough without having to endure the stress of someone intentionally inflicting emotional distress on us. Whoever you were, just know that your attitude needs severe adjustment if you are to remain in this industry, or you should go find another job elsewhere, far from human contact. Also know that I know you hung up on me, and you set your co-worker off on me when I called back in who gave me just as much attitude and loud-talked over every single word I try to get in edge-wise. Also, to the second person I spoke with, thanks for letting me know that the first person had me on speaker in your office. It's nice to know that my personal and medical information was being broadcast over speaker to anyone and everyone within earshot. That first person never let me know I was being put on speaker. I'm pretty sure that's a violation of HIPAA if that's true. How many other patients were sitting in the waiting room listening to my conversation? What information exactly was broadcast? If it isn't true that I wasn't on speaker phone after all, then you were lying to try and have your co-worker's back by saying that you overheard our conversation, purportedly to try and intimidate me into thinking like I had said something wrong and you "caught me". Whatever the scenario was, this is unprofessional behavior by people who should be nothing but professional, courteous, discrete, and empathetic to their patients. Dr. Bridge's work is epic. However, like many brilliant Doctors, his practice, in my opinion, is being sabotaged by unprofessional office staff. There are too many ENTs in Phx to have to suffer through his unprofessional office staff. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to take my case elsewhere since I can't trust the care and handling of my personal information with a staff that has an unprofessional and vindictive attitude like that. read more

My experiences with Dr. Bridge and his office staff have all been positive. As an educator I appreciated the televised health education offered in his office waiting area. The office is clean and neat and I felt welcomed by the receptionist. My appointment was timely with less than a 10 minute wait as I updated my health information electronically. Dr. Bridge has a quiet, gentle and authentic presense. He listens, validated my concerns and involved me in my plan of care. WORST Dr's EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! If you are looking to be treated with the utmost dismissive disrespect, Dr. Robert Bridge is who we had to experience. My 17 yr old daughter had her tonsils removed by Dr. Robert Bridge and we were not even remotely prepared for the recovery. Neither Dr. Bridge or his staff educated us on what to do during recovery other than telling her to drink water. They handed us numerous papers when they discharged her but none of them gave us the advise we received at the Emergency Room later that week. We ended up in the emergency room during her first week of recovery and the medical staff in the ER were shocked at what little information we were given to have as smooth a recovery as possible. I'm sure the papers that Deer Valley Surgical Center handed us covered them for liability (just my opinion) but they are the professionals and having never been thru this before we counted on them for their expertise. We went back to see Dr. Bridge 4 weeks after surgery, because my daughter was still experiencing pain. He said he "didn't know what to tell us". In his 30 years he had never seen this after 4 weeks. ??? I said if you haven't seen this in 30 years doesn't that mean this isn't normal? He said "yes" and just looked and us and told us again that he "didn't know what to tell us." He actually looked at me with a completely blank stare and said that to me at least 4 times. He said maybe there was some nerve damage but that would mean seeing a Neurologist. He didn't elaborate or even recommend anyone because it was very apparent that he did not care about this patient. Dr. Bridge is the most dismissive, uncaring Dr. I have ever been to. Our experience was HORRIBLE. I would never recommend Dr. Bridge. Trust me, find another Dr.! read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Bridge since 2006, it's now 2019. I initially saw him for treatment of snoring, which after a sleep study I found out was sleep apnea. Dr. Bridge walked me through the whole process of getting the right CPAP and mask, etc. He has been and is always there when I needed him. Just had an appointment with Dr. Bridge, and his audiologist. BOTH were thoughtful, clear, and professional. I see a fair amount of doctors, and so I tend to expect more than just an average office visit. I am a well educated professional and as such, I listen carefully to the what the doctor asks, watch his level of attentiveness, and look to get a sense of whether he (or she) feels "invested" in my health care. This was absolutely the case with my appojntment from beginning to end. I was a little afraid of a few of the reviews before seeing Dr. Bridge. BUT, my own experience was completely the opposite. I felt very compelled to write this review, as it would have been the wrong decision to bypass Dr. Bridge and go elsewhere. I was really happy with my experience. Such a horrible experience with Doctor Bridge! If you are a worried parent of a delayed child PLEASE find a different doctor to go to. If I could turn back the hands of times and chosen a different doctor I would do it in a heartbeat! The day of my appointment I ended up walking out of the doctors office. In tears and in rage. This doctor has NO BEDSIDE MANNER especially for children. As soon as he walked in to our waiting room and saw my 3 year old son he immediately looked annoyed and didn't want to deal with him. Asked very few questions and then began to look in his ear. Not a, "Hey buddy! Whats going on? Are are you feeling?" or a "Okay bud I am going to have to look in your ears with the cool little instrument." Just a grab your ear and take a look. If you aren't good with small children - work for an office that doesn't deal with them. My son had just had a hearing test done, ears constantly messed with, tired of being there, and over the doctors office. I think all parents with small children can relate. My son doesn't like his ears messed with in general and after being at the office having his ears messed with he was just over it. So of course he fought having his ears looked at especially when you just grab him and not tell him whats going on. He was very rude to me and my sons father with the way he asked us to hold our son so he could look in his ears. He then advised us that his ears needed cleaning. Nothing more. Just that they needed cleaning. So he took us to another room. Laid down our son and began messing with his ears again. No communication with myself, my sons father, or the patient - my son! Of course he started squirming and crying. He didn't know what was going. The doctor then asked 2 assistants to hold his legs and head. Again, no communication as to how he was cleaning his ears or to the extend of why? I couldn't tell you if it was water, scrapping, how bad it was, how far down the wax was. I had no idea of what was going on. But seeing my son terrified and in tears I stopped the procedure. If you aren't going to treat my son like a human being and get on a childs level to make them feel comfortable, if you aren't going to communicate with me about why you are doing what you are doing, and the only conversation you do have with me is rudely telling me how to hold my son down then I won't allow you to see my children. I will find a better doctor that has children bedside manners. Leaving the office I was so upset. Upset with how he had treated us. Upset that I had just wasted my copay for nothing! Now I have to go to a different specialist and pay again all over! I later asked for my child's medical records so that I could see a new specialist, and since my insurance only allows 1 hearing test a year, I needed the results. Reading through his medical record things weren't even accurate. He had stated that my son was full term and no birth issues. WRONG!! My son was premature, breathing problems, jaundice, and stayed for a week in the NICU!! The worst part was that as a parent of a delayed child you always wonder if something more is wrong. Either way it wouldn't matter because your child is perfect, but scared of how society will treat him differently. We have had our son evaluated 2 different times both times advised that it was just delayed speech. Lets do speech therapy. On his medical record Dr. Bridge had said, "delayed speech with autistic tendencies." My heart sunk into the pit of my stomach. I had so many thoughts go through my head. How did you come up with this evaluation within the 5 minutes you were with my son, when you didn't talk to him, didn't ask him questions, and WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME!! Why didn't you communicate with me why you felt this way and what we needed to do next. Farther down on the records it said that my sons ears need a deep cleaning as he may be having mild hearing loss due to the wax buildup. Which was why my primary doctor asked me to go to a specialist because if he was having any hearing loss at all, even muffled, could be a reason to his speech delay. So now I have to find a new specialist, repay my copay, and have so many unanswered, worrisome questions until his next appointment in two weeks. I beg this doctor to please learn bedside manner - especially if you believe one has autistic tendencies. Learn a little bit more compassion and have a little bit more patience. I would hate for any other parent to go through what I went through. It is simple FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR!! read more

Dr. Bridge did surgery on me years ago and did a good job. I returned to his office late last year to resume allergy shots. I wanted to get started before spring came. It's March and I have yet to receive a single allergy shot. I've been there three times and no one knew what was going on with my shots. Then I get a call yesterday telling me I had missed my appointment for my shot. No one called and told me I even had an appointment! Three weeks ago I was told a surgery scheduler was going to contact me. Nope. Hasn't happened. I have an appointment with another Dr. now and I'll be surprised if I'm even missed. Paging Dr. Bridge...your staff needs an emergency infusion of professionalism. read more

I had an allergy test done by Bridge's assistant in anticipation of receiving a creme to help control my allergies. I had to go into his office to get the test done and then go to his office again so he could tell me what was already on the allergy test results that I was given at the first visit; This seemed like milking my BCBSAZ; Ok so....10 weeks later, I still did not receive the creme, so I called his office. A few days later I received a voice message from one of his assistants telling me they don't offer the creme anymore??. I then called his office again, left a message and never got a return call. Now I was irked, I made it clear to Bridge from the beginning that I had tried shots before and that it did nothing for me; so it was only the creme I wanted. He even had the sales rep for the creme call and talk to me about it--pretty clear I just want the creme. Ok, so I write a letter to Bridge telling him that I believe he owes me and Blue Cross a refund for not only the last two visits but the allergy test as well. I also told him that BCBSAZ did not seem interested in their share of the refund and suggested I try to resolve the issue of getting my two 60.00 copays back. It has been over a month now and have not heard a thing--maybe M.D.'s don't believe they should ever process a refund--but they sure expect to get paid! I live in Prescott, which made it even more annoying, it basically took two of my days to get this allergy test wrapped up. Again, I made it clear with him from the "get-go" that I would not do the allergy shots. Since I'm at it, I will throw in the whole kitchen sink...on an earlier visit to his office, I had to wait 1 hour to see him. I think it may be time for him to retire. read more

We've all heard of bad doctors right? Well this guy is a bad doctor. Don't waste your time and your money on this guy. This guy told me I was having ear pain because of all my alcohol and drug use. I've never done drugs. I did say I smoked Marijuana when I was younger. I asked if he received my CT scans...he said yes...and then said they were worthless. I asked if he had access to the CT scans...he spent some time on his PC and said SHIT! I'm not connected. He turned to me and said: "I see your medical redords here. How long have you had Cirrhosis? I said about 3 years. "It would be a waste of time to perform surgery on you, because you can't simply let me insert my ear probe into your ear without you feeling pain. That tells me that it would be a waste of time, because you are a person that would complain about pain. I don't see any sign of redness in your ear and I'm just not wasting my time with people that have pain and other medical issues like yours. Ok. Problem is... it wasn't the pain...it was living in a world of water and distortion in my right ear that made it hard to hear. The distortion would leave, an the pain would set in. I find it ironic that this guy...this guy...this doctor that knows about hearing..this doctor...is ...I'ii leave it at that... This guy Dr. Robert S Bridge, is going to be reported to Arizona Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Medicare to not pay this guy. You don't see a patient and scold them, refuse them treatment, and bill them. This is the kind of B.S. our medical profession needs to address. read more

This doctors office is the worst one I have ever been to visit. First visit I set the appt. up with the doctor. Now they said I could get see a NP next week or wait a month and get in to see the doctor. Well, my case is quite serious so I said I will need to see the doctor. One month later I went to see the doctor and guess who I waited to see .....Yeap that's right I got to only visit with the NP. After waiting a month, I am extremely dizzy, lost my hearing and have severe head pain. Next, the NP says we need to send you for tests. One month later a place calls and says they are setting up an appt for Dr. Bridges office. But they don't do that kind of test. So, I have to call the doctors office back and tell them that the place they scheduled me does not do that procedure. So, another month goes by and low and behold they set me up with another appt. I go to the appt. and guess what. They said that they double booked the appt. I can not be seen today. I said my appt was scheduled first but they said that they couldn't get a hold of the other person because they didn't have their phone number. Sorry but the 3rd time is the charm and this place is the worst doctors office I have ever been to visit. Four months later and I have not even seen a doctor. Do yourself a favor and start somewhere else as I have wasted 4 months of my life here and am now going somewhere else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
