I have known Asma Chaudry as a lawyer since 2007 and have used her services for my and other family…read moremembers' cases. I am highly satisfied with her services. She is a great lawyer - a thorough professional, extremely competent, ethical, honest- and what is more she cares for her clients and has compassion for them. She will never give you false hopes or sing her own praises as people engaged in service delivery sometimes do- she will be very matter of fact about your case and be very honest about your chance of winning or losing it and then she will do her best to win your case for you. I could not have asked for a better lawyer. My husband, whose case Asma handled successfully, also thinks very highly of her capabilities as a lawyer and we both recommend Asma heartily and with full confidence. Her fees are very reasonable and I believe she still offers an easy payment plan to her clients. The only snag, and a minor one at that, was the delay it sometimes took in getting a response from her office about your case. But given the busy practice and shortage of staff that is understandable.

If you have a landlord/dispute or rent stabilization case, don't hire this guy! I paid this guy…read morealmost $1,300 and he is the laziest shiftless lawyer I have every worked with. I booked a consultation and paid $90. He gives you a two hour window that he will call you with and not an exact time. When he finally did call, he was in his car, driving half paying attention. He has a good online presence and I already invested $90 so I decided to move forward with him a couple months after the consultation. He charges $1,200 for out of court negotiation. $4,500 if your landlord/tenant sues first and 10K to sue your landlord/tenant first Long story short. He makes excuses, has very little communication and there is almost a week between emails. I paid him $1,200 to review my documents and get back to me with the full intension of paying him the $4500 when my landlord tried to sue me because my landlord illegally deregulated my apartment from rent stabilization. I ended up hiring another lawyer, who I won't name on this review but he did what Ari could not do in 3 weeks in 1 hour. The other lawyer I spoke to kept me on hold, asked me questions and we sent documents back and forth over the line. He told me I had a good case and within a week, we were ready to file. When you send Ari a document, instead of responding immediately or asking a question. He waits a week, then asks a question and then it will take another week to hear from him and then he simply asks another question. Instead of anticipating an gathering all the things he needs up front. He plays the waiting game with you. He once told he would get back to me in a week. 9 days passed and I HAD TO REACHOUT to him. He said he had 'covid' and was behind. If he was so behind, why not be pro-active and reach out to your clients ahead of time. Seemed like a lie. I could go on with more stories and anecdotes but he doesn't know what he is doing. I paid out money to another lawyer and a consultant and they didn't need 3 weeks to tell me whether or not I had a good case.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I reached out regarding a family/domestic violence matter, and…read morethe experience was extremely disappointing. When someone contacts a law office about domestic violence, they are often already in a vulnerable and stressful situation. The last thing they need is to feel dismissed or treated with hostility. In past years, this office had professional, respectful staff who treated clients with dignity. Unfortunately, that no longer seems to be the case. The paralegal I spoke with was rude, impatient, and completely lacking empathy. Instead of feeling supported or heard, I felt talked down to. Domestic violence cases require sensitivity, professionalism, and compassion. Survivors deserve to be treated with respect and understanding. Based on my recent experience, I cannot recommend this office.

I waited several months to obtain a phone appointment with one of the organization's attorneys…read more During that consultation, the attorney informed me that my case would be referred to another lawyer and that I would receive a packet within two weeks. This representation created a reasonable expectation that my matter was being actively handled. However, more than a month passed with no communication or documentation received. I contacted the office on Friday, October 10, 2025, at approximately 4:00 PM to inquire about the status of my case. The representative who refused to give me her name was unable to provide any substantive information beyond stating that my case was "still pending." When I asked for a timeline, clarification of the process, or to speak with a supervisor, she was unable to respond and ultimately became frustrated with my questions--then abruptly hung up on me after I had been on hold for over 40 minutes. This conduct reflects a serious lack of transparency and professionalism. The organization's failure to deliver on its stated services constitutes potential misrepresentation. I relied on their assurances while facing escalating creditor actions, and as a result of their inaction, my wages are now being garnished. I am requesting a formal review of my case, an explanation for the delay and lack of communication, and confirmation that the services I was promised will actually be provided.
