I avoid doctors at all costs (hate waiting forever then being rushed through my appointment and not given any real, valuable information). I picked this practice based on location alone and had very low expectations, especially after my not great experience at the Urgent Care next door. However, I am genuinely shocked at how great my experience was overall. Everyone I encountered was incredibly friendly and warm, but Dr. Adams was wonderful. She took her time during the appointment and asked me multiple times if I had an additional questions. She answered in detail and even explained things that I didn't ask about (but was glad to know). Not to be corny, but for once, I felt like my concerns actually mattered to the Doctor. I will definitely visit Dr. Adams again.

The waiting room was clean and all patients and employees had to wear a mask. They are still social distancing, which is refreshing because Covid is not over. However, my interpretation of this has always been that he has been doing this for a very long time -- He cuts to the chase, bases his opinions and diagnoses on facts, and takes the actions necessary to scientifically and medically gather evidence before going down a certain path. Even though he can (and I say "can" because it's not all the time) be a little snarky, he is also a good listener. He also doesn't pretend to be an expert in areas in which he doesn't have expertise, which is good. I had the opposite experience as the other poster - Dr. H did take my then-2 year old daughter's 'word' into account (just not as the ultimate truth, as sometimes small kids can't really articulate what the issue is). He is the right combination of aggressive and conservative with treatments, surgeries, etc. He has always been sensitive to the condition of our family as a result of my daughter's health and not just limiting it specifically to her symptoms (read: He saw how little sleep I was getting, too, and I think he factored in the long-term trauma and stress into making a more aggressive recommendation). He is VERY good with small children. My daughter absolutely loves him. He is gentle and not in the least bit 'scary.' My daughter has had ear tubes in, adenoids out, and sinus surgery with him (a total of 2 surgeries). She is not even five yet. For three years, I tried natural/organic/Eastern alternative and reluctantly considered more traditional means ...Being totally desperate, I finally ended up in his office and over time, in retrospect, I think that working with him has resulted in the most benefits for my daughter's improving health. He is also very responsive - I called his office today and asked a pretty minor question. His nurse called me back with his specific guidance on what to do (from his mouth) within 2 hrs. So when I was heading to our rescheduled appointment, I called to confirm the appointment, I was told my appointment is on another day - weird, but fine. I then showed up that day and was told our appointment was in fact the day I called in and not today.... They are so disorganized here and are not open to accommodating their clients. Stepping into the comforts of a plain but tastefully decorated office with a small fridge for refreshments and a coffee maker, she was the first person I and my wife (who was accompanying me at the time) met. She is the perfect personification of efficiency and professional courtesy. I and my wife were invited right on time by Brent into his office. The reason for my visit was my three-and-a-half years old hearing aids, both of which had stopped functioning over the last few weeks. He excused himself "for a few minutes", took them into the next room, and came back soon with my pair as good as new. Brent was a good listener and so was he in providing me with all the answers to my questions and more. He tested my hearing and gave me the results of the test with the process running as smoothly as everything else at this office. Before Hull Hearing Aids, I had tried two other hearing aid centers where any similar issues I had would be approached by an offer to have my device(s) left at their office to await their diagnosis which typically would either be an estimate for a costly repair or worse a new pair with the latest technology to replace my "obsolete" devices.
