BE ADVISED BEFORE HIRING ROBERT MILLER OF MILLER & ASSOCIATES Life happens and most of us at some point need legal representation. However, it can be an intimidating process for most of us thus we seek out an attorney that can provide some level of assurance and comfort that your case will be handled with care and competency. Unfortunately, I hired Robert Miller of Miller & Associates. I retained Mr. Miller on short notice due to the unavailability of my primary counsel, making clear from the outset that my case was time-sensitive and required urgent attention. Initially, Mr. Miller assured me he could handle the matter. However, after receiving payment, his attitude and responsiveness drastically changed. He became difficult to reach and delayed communication for days at a time. When I finally managed to schedule a call, the earliest availability was nearly a week later--despite the urgency of my case. The motion he eventually drafted contained grammatical errors and, more alarmingly, factual inaccuracies of my case. When I respectfully pointed out these issues, his response was dismissive and unprofessional, even accusing me of throwing a "temper tantrum." He of course missed the court deadline to file the motion, further delaying my case. Our agreement was for a flat fee of $2,000, covering drafting and filing a motion, several court-related calls, and a court appearance at my hearing. In reality, Mr. Miller provided only a poorly written motion, a single brief phone call, and a series of terse email exchanges. After terminating our relationship due to his lack of professionalism, communication, and care, I received a surprise invoice for nearly $7,000--a blatant contradiction of the agreed-upon flat fee. As of now, I've lost valuable time, my retainer, my case is no further along, I have to now prepare a formal complaint with the California Bar Association, and pursue the remainder of my retainer through legal means (an absolute nightmare). My advice: AVOID THIS FIRM. Protect your time, money, and peace of mind by seeking representation elsewhere--someone who values your trust and treats your case with the seriousness it deserves. read more

Scam, scam, and fake. I was recently given this 'law firm' when I googled a traffic ticket they are not by their own admission not able to deal with. Their call bank gave me a series of fake answers and fished for my information. I posted the screen shots of this. Ok so I screwed up. A few years ago I got one of those red-light tickets where the camera takes your picture and they mail you the ticket. Well I remember when it happened, I remember getting the initial ticket, I remember somebody giving me terrible advise that I didn't have to pay it that the police and courts would not pursue it. So I get in contact with Robert Miller and he looks up the details on my case and a few days later contacts me that he went to the West-court and has us on the court calendar to get this resolved. 2 weeks out. Perfect! I put in for the day off and he tells me it isn't necessary. He takes care of everything contacts me when it is done. I am not sentenced to the death penalty, I just have to pay the ticket and a few fines to get it cleared up. He sends me the docs and helps me process the payment plan etc. His fees are totally reasonable and I was not hassled at all my license is released and I am now the law abiding citizen I thought I was before this all began.
