I worked with Robyn Mann during my divorce, and unfortunately, my experience was not what I had hoped for in terms of communication and follow-up. After the divorce judgment was finalized, I did not receive timely notice. I later learned that the judgment had been received by Robyn several months earlier. Because I was unaware, I was unable to make necessary changes to my health insurance in time, which led to significant out-of-pocket costs, including COBRA premiums and ongoing medical bills. I've made several attempts to reach Robyn by email and phone to discuss the matter, but I have not received a response. If you're looking for a lawyer who's on your side, wants to do a good job and communicates with you every step of the way, DO NOT HIRE Robyn Mann! She deserves zero stars for her work. My ex wife and I had the simplest of divorce proceedings; when I mentioned a rough 6 week timeline to complete everything when I hired her, she laughed at me. I was kind of insulted but took it as a sign of confidence that she could make it work. She fumbled the simplest of requests and proceedings along the way with deer in headlights confidence. Terrible experience with Attny Mann. She made many mistakes, completely mislead us, and ultimately made the case her agenda. Don't be fooled by her presentation. Do not waste your time or money on this lawyer. We trusted her and got burned in family court. She is an experienced lawyer and a decent person but made errors on every level from service to family relations. Because of her errors, the opposing counsel backed the case into the wall with an agreement fueled by a motion to dismiss. She also changed gears, chummed up with the opposing counsel just to save face. She clearly does not work for the best interest of any child. Now she's running for mayor, God help New Milford. I can't believe she'd act differently as a mayor. read more
