On our initial phone call, he took the time to patiently listen to what kind of looks I wanted to achieve for my head shots. Then, he made his suggestions as to what he thought would work best for my actor type. The shoot went smoothly and he took several great shots. There were so many brilliant shots that it took me over a week to narrow it down to my four favourites. Once I did that, he sent them out for retouching and told me they would be ready the next day, which happened to be Thanksgiving. I was not expecting him to reach out to me on a holiday however, he went above and beyond, and sent me the final retouched shots on Thanksgiving morning. I have had many photo shoots before however, I have never had one as organized and efficient as this one, and with such a timely delivery of the final shots. The next time I need headshots taken, I plan to give Joe a call. Kerry-Lou was my make up artist for the shoot and did a phenomenal job, for which I will write a separate review. I highly recommend that you use her services when you book a shoot with Joe. Not only can she create both a natural and glamorous look with equal ease, the synergy she and Joe share will ensure you get some of the best head shots you have ever taken. I really didn't want this to be a "cheesy" shoot with being naked and my husband being topless and us gazing at each other..I personally dislike that style. I wanted a nice memory, classic outfits and nothing too wild and weird. I came prepared with outfits but she also had her own vision and had fabrics prepared to get a certain "look." The outcome of her work is nothing short of FABULOUS. The entire shoot, we had such a good time and she put me at ease and made me comfortable. The resulting photos were absolutely stunning..beyond my wildest expectations. First of all, I have to mention the photographer (the lady) was very professional and sweet. She was so welcoming that it made me very comfortable to take my photos with her. We actually took a couple and she had me check which ones I liked the most. She was so patient, allowing me to take multiple shots until I was satisfied. She also had an option of enhancing the photo (which I quickly agreed). The volume of my hair was so dead the day of and she actually was able to fix up my hair by making it seem like it had more volume and my jawline slimmer.
