Bait and Switch Company! I was quoted a rate. Was told if I…read morebrought in a buyer without a buyer's agent, that was the rate I would pay. I found a buyer and since the rate was lower, I was able to lower my asking price. The buyer was happy and made a full asking price offer. I went back to the agent of New Door and he informed me his broker would not allow it. She asked me to call her. I did and she informed me it was against the law because they had to represent me. I told her I wanted him to represent me incase this deal folded. She said, Oh, then he can represent you for the flat rate commission he quoted you. I said GREAT. I had never sold a house NOR did I ever met the guy. It was all through text and email. So this was great news. Five minutes or so later, she posted on facebook (where she and I had been chatting) stating they were NOT going to do that for that rate. Instead, they wanted an extra 2928.00 on top of the original rate quoted. I offered another 948.00 to just get it over with. She replied No. This will more than likely cause me to lose the sale of my house because of this true Bait and Switch tactic. They knew I had a buyer and wanted everything they could squeeze out of me. Beware is all I can say. Go somewhere else because these people do NOT honor their word!
