We gave a large deposit for Christmas lights in July. Since 18 Nov we have been told multiple times that our lights will be hung "tomorrow". It is now 6 Dec and we still don't have the lights. They are now not answering the phone or texts. We have used them for a few years. Communication and reliability has always been subpar but at least we got the services we paid for in years past. I'm not one to leave bad reviews on a person or business; but I hope this will help someone from experiencing what I did. I hired Dylan of Rocket City Lights to do a few landscaping lights , timer switch box and about 30 feet of Bistro lights. I paid 1,000 for the lighting and labor and was supposed to have a two year warranty. Just two weeks after the lighting was installed my Bistro lights went out. I tried multiple times to get of hold to Dylan by texting, phone calls, leaving voicemails and through fb messenger. He still today, a few months later has never got back in touch with me to come out to repair the lights. I finally had to pay and hire someone to come to fix the lights. I was shocked he would never return my calls or text. I just want to say, beware of this company. If you have any outages or issues with the lights, you may have to pay someone else to repair them or do it yourself. I think he could have a good business, but treating customers poorly like he did me can eventually destroy a business. read more
