In three months, I'll celebrate my 50th year of riding motorcycles. I moved around the country for business purposes quite a bit which during all those years, more times than not, made changing bikes more economical than shipping them. Because of all the moves which led to owning a lot of different bikes, I also worked with numerous motorcycle mechanics. (New York, Chicago, Denver, San Francisco, and back to the Denver area.....Boulder, then Aspen (where I should have bought property and stayed), back to NY, Chicago again, Las Vegas, Florida, back to Las Vegas, and now back in Florida (no plans on moving anytime soon) - but all those moves led to owning quite a few motorcycles. Which meant working with a lot of different MC mechanics. Of all the mechanics I've had work on all those bikes, Marco was far and away the best MC guy of them all! I'm sorry we had a disagreement (not concerning anything to do with a motorcycle repair...or our business relationship in any way). -- Moving back to Florida this last time and having had some unpleasant words between Marco and myself right before I left the last time, has become a problem (at least for me) - I just bought a "new to me" (old by the calendar) Harley. Too bad that from what I've read, there's a motorcycle shop nearby that only works on Harleys - and, again, from what I've read, is quite expensive. A big issue for me since I'm now retired and living isn't getting any cheaper - especially in this area. I hope that I can make amends with Marco. He's not only the best motorcycle mechanic I've worked with but is a good guy in general. Guess I'll have to try going back to see him - hat in hand - and hope that we can reconnect. I've found that the longer I've been riding, and the more bikes I've owned, having a MORE THAN COMPETENT bike mechanic is as important - maybe more important, than the kind of bike you own..... great work, fair prices, works quickly, and does exactly what he says he will do at the price he'll give you in advance. Despite our (upsetting - at least to me) "difference of opinion" I couldn't possibly give Marco anything less than the 5 stars he deserves! (I just hope this review doesn't contribute TOO much more business for Marco... I think the downside of that is too much business may lead to longer waits for service. I brought my motorcycle here because my bike wouldn't idle. When I first met the man that owned the shop "Mr Marco" I noticed that he was a lil irritable and very defensive with his tone of voice. Not the friendliest person. I had a bad feeling about leaving my bike with him but I left it with him because I didn't wanna pay for a tow. He said it would be a few days. When I called him two days later he answers the phone with the same irritable tone. He told me that he cleaned the spark plug connection and that the bike is running. He also said that he needs to close the gap and adjust the spark plug which is a very rare thing to have to do. I just don't understand why he didn't ask me if I wanted to change the 10$ spark plug or whatever piece that I may need to prevent problems with the idling. Especially because my bike is just under 30,000 miles Instead he superficially fixed the problem and charged me 230$ dollars for the "repair". I payed 320 dollars in total because he replaced my chain guide. He originally told me it would be 240 for both services since the bike was already tooken apart but when I went to pay the price was changed to 320$. I drove 20 miles and the bike started with the same idle issue it originally had. I brought the bike back and he said he would fix it. I called him the next day and he told me that a piece had melted and he had to clean up the melted debris around it and put it back the best he could. I just don't understand why he didn't see this melted piece before when he opened the bike up originally. He offered to change the other parts but I refused because I don't trust him. He told me that my bike wouldn't be ready until Thursday and it was Saturday . I called back because I was wondering why he couldn't just put my bike back together so I can get it today since it was so early in the day and he blew up and said it was ready and that I can come pick it up now, which had me wondering why he wanted me to wait until Thursday in the first place. Half way home the bike began to have the same idle issues it had before. I took my bike to my original mechanic that I TRUST and he said "The lead for the plug/coil is loose and causing a bad connection. It wasn't even attached as I was taking the bike apart. "Anybody in their right mind should have noticed this while working on the bike. And the plug itself is bad. read more

I'd run through all the regular tests so I did a Google search and found this place. Honest and ethical work of the highest caliber! I explained that my bike had been sitting for about a year and I was finally getting around to fixing it. On a Saturday at 5pm he took the time to schedule me out and put me in touch with a great bike towing company. As discussed there was. 50/50 chance I would need new fuel injectors. While he could have easily taken advantage of the situation he did not and he got it running great at a ridiculously affordable price. When he called and gave me the total he actually called back a few minutes later to let me know he misprinted and it was a couple hundred less (after I had already said no problem to the bill price he quoted!). I dare you to find any mechanic car or motorcycle that treats their clients that honestly. A week later I had an issue with a diy on the bike that had nothing to do with the service. I called Marco and he walked me through trouble shooting on the phone and helped me fix it. I'm telling you if you need a motorcycle repaired this is the only business in south Florida to go with. read more
