Absolutely beautiful! We arrived less than an hour before they closed, which definitely wasn't enough time to see everything. There was a lot of good deals and we picked up a few plants. I was told this place is big but wow... It's big. The layout is incredibly thoughtful and the staff are plentiful and eager to help. There are even some light snack options so you can enjoy a full experience visit. The pricing is more reasonable than you might expect and the selection is massive. From aquatics, landscaping, indoor, you're bound to find not only what you came for but something you didn't expect. I definitely recommend popping in when you're in the area, even as a nice place to stretch your legs if passing through. read more

Although our visit was disappointing, we went specifically to get a live wreath and they were not expecting them in for a week or two, it's always nice to wander around and participate in scavenger hunt, check out the current season's offerings and even grab a little treat. Rockledge Gardens is more than a greenhouse, it's an experience! There is a huge tropical plant greenhouse with a great variety of indoor plants both rare and common plus a HUGE outdoor plant and tree collection. Several souvenir gift shops, butterfly garden, a cafe, ice cream parlor and a beautiful outdoor event space for weddings. We literally spent an entire afternoon exploring the property and didn't get to see it all. If it's related to gardening or plants they probably have what you're looking for. One of my favorite spots here is the pick your own wild flower bouquet and pick your own herbs. What a cool idea! If you're in the area definitely plan to spend a few hours or more! read more

This place is Phenomenal. Not only do they have any kind of plant that you could ask for, they also sell kits for helping you grow and care for your plants successfully. They also have a fantastic gift store with plant and gardening themed clothes and gifts. They have two bathrooms in their main house (where the gift store is) and each bathroom is for anyone. They have a wonderful area where you can buy ice cream, wine, fresh fruits and veggies, food, farm to table meats, cheeses, and milks, specialty drinks, and even coffee. What a beautiful spot to try some delicious vegan food! Inside Rockledge Gardens, there's a great restaurant named "The Garden Party" that is so delicious with an all-vegan menu. The employees were so kind and helpful to walk me through the food options and made great recommendations. The CBLT (Coconut bacon, lettuce and tomato) sandwich was so delicious!! The coconut bacon is made in house and just adds that extra salty and rich crunch to the sandwich. The lavender lemonade was the perfect compliment, not too sweet and not too tart. Goldilocks level - just right. The location is so charming and can turn your dining experience into even more of an outing, since The Garden Party is located right in such a beautiful garden center. You can walk around before, during, or after enjoying your food. There is a deck and patio area shaded with plenty of plants and fans, which are much appreciated. I only wish I lived closer so I could come back all the time! This is a perfect place to read, get some work done, or have a fun outing solo or with friends. read more

Beautiful gardens located in Rockledge. You can immediately tell how much love and dedication the employees pour into these gardens. The plants are gorgeous! We didn't really come with a major purpose other than to see the gardens and get some drinks. I love that they have a farm market with local handmade goods such as soap, a small bar with beer and wine (you can walk around the garden with this), a cafe with fresh vegeatables and at the time they were under construction but it looks as though they have a icecream place moving in. Around the garden they have different sections featuring different plants which makes it very easy to find what your looking for. While the gardens are designed to buy plants it also feels nice to just walk around, enjoy a sip and bring your children. They even have a section just for kids with a playground. Our favorite section was the butterfly garden. They do feature a option on Yelp for a free small 4'' annual plant with a $20 purchase. We purchased well over $30 in drinks and the cashier didn't seem familiar with this offer and wasn't very nice about it. She actually instructed us to pick out the plant (our son was proud of the little plant) and then when we returned with our plant she told us the purchase had to be all at once which was kinda unprofessional, misleading and really not worth it to lose a valuable future customer over a cheap plant. I would suggest they remove this offer or educate their employees. While the cashier was unpleasant the associates working the gardens were very helpful and kind. I would love to return for one of their workshops or events. I noticed they also have a excellent place for holding private events like a baby shower. read more

What an amazing way to spend a Sunday morning! At the entrance of the garden you are greeted by the most fragrant, blooming jasmine trellis that hangs over a pergola. There you can find a map of the gardens. There are several destination signs throughout the gardens to help guide you on your way. A few steps after the entrance, you will find the beer + wine kiosk, as well as the garden boutique. In the heart of the garden, you will find the market where you can buy fresh produce, meat, dairy, eggs, lots of locally made products, and ice cream. They have free flowers for your hair by the register! The butterfly garden is great for kids, with lots of educational diagrams. You can see the various stages of the development of the butterfly, in real life! This garden is so well kept, and the blooms are to die for This Sunday there was a Garden Party Market where there were local vendors popped-up throughout the gardens selling goods. There was live music by the market as well. We ended up taking home a marbled queen pothos for my husband , a fresh peach , and some lavender lemonade for me , some fresh cheddar sourdough loaf , and some biodegradable laundry detergent. read more

A sweet kind of secret garden... it's bigger than I thought it would be. Went for the first time a ways back now and was so pleasantly pleased with the staff, they were all so helpful and knowledgable. We went to check out the farmers market, although not what I typically think when I think farmers market, but instead a cute indoor building (yay for ac and fans). We parked it underneath a nice fan, just before we went to check out the playful table runners and aprons- I didn't get her card to give her credit but if you go check it out. She has some stuffed ocelots that any Minecraft enjoying child might like. Stopped by the kombucha "on tap", interestingly refreshing, enjoyed a free sample. Then off to check out the Garden Party and wonderland ice-cream parlor. The Garden Party had some interesting options, I tried their Kimchi Grilled cheese and was pleasantly surprised. Wonderland's owner is so nice and talented, she creates unique flavors of ice cream. Overall happy to have this little gem of a place close by to home. Cute! Great ambiance. Perfect for a date day. We went to check out all the water plants, butterfly houses, as well as greenhouses and general gorgeous scenery. I could easily see this place booked for weddings and events as it had all the right spaces and setup to perfectly create a beautiful setting. The little restaurant that sells sandwiches and unique desserts is a must try. The little deli is next to the produce area in the store. They had all vegan options when I went, but they were delicious! The dessert we had was something like a Chai spiced pumpkin latte cake. I can't even explain how good it was. My wife really loved her Kimchi Grilled cheese . I enjoyed the BLT with coconut bacon, although different than a traditional BLT. It was delicious in its own way. The food felt like you were getting nutrition. This is the perfect little spot for some scenery and company. Very chill with the sounds of the water flowing and wind chimes dancing in the wind. I went to RG with my sick orchid plant. The information booth sent me to DAR, their orchid expert. Not only did Dar analyze my orchid's multiple issues, but she also helped by replanting it and providing clear instructions on how to keep it on the mend. When looking at toned aphids from my tomato plant, the cashier took the time to a radio call with questions regarding adding ladybugs after I sprayed medicinal soap. Sadly, I didn't get the cashier's name, but again, their team goes out of their way to help. The time and energy their team spent on one customer was impressive, and I am truly grateful for this experience. RG earned a loyal customer! read more

We went looking for a tree to replace a magnolia tree that was removed from our yard. The people are very knowledgeable and helpful. However, when it came time to deliver and plant the tree the man who planted it, Matt accidentally broke an irrigation head or an irrigation pipe to our Sprinkler system which is run off a well. He knew where the sprinkler heads were back there, and he planted the tree in the same location that the previous tree was removed. As he was leaving, he told me to turn the sprinkler system back on and water every day for the next week, and then every other day for the next week after that, and then three times a week after that. I turned on the sprinkler system from the other side of the house, and by the time I looked at it most of the soil and mulch is washing away as it was bubbling up and flowing into a huge drain. Even my neighbor saw it and said you need to get them back out here. I tried calling within 10 minutes of Matt, leaving and he would not answer his phone. I tried calling and talking to the nursery & I was told by Steve repeatedly that it's not their problem and not their liability per the contract. In the contract it says that they're not responsible for any underground utilities, being damaged, and to let them know where septic systems are. This is not a septic system. He knew where the sprinkler system was. This is not city water - its well water.I showed him the sprinkler and he even actually helped me turn it off because it was running when he arrived. I was getting the runaround by Steve, who is very unhelpful and very condescending that I drove down to Rocklege Gardens.My neighbor who has used Rocklege Gardens for years had recommended them. Steve and a female manager who said she was the top manager spoke to me. When I told Steve, if you have no authority to make a decision, why do you keep interjecting your opinion and you're basically calling me a liar. He kept saying that he spoke to Matt and that the owner spoke to Matt and Matt swore up and down that he didn't break anything. Matt left before he watched the sprinkler system be turned back on. It happened within 10 minutes of him leaving. The female supervisor asked me why I would have him plant a tree in an area that had a sprinkler system.?! WTH? I said he planted it exactly where the other tree was. She told me that she had no idea what the owners last names were only that it was Brendan and Devon. Well I found the newspaper article. It is Brendan Hayes. - Morrison and Devon Klingman. They bought this approximately 10 months ago and I think they are going to run a beloved nursery into the ground if this is the way they treat their customers by telling me that neither of the owners would be willing to call me. All I wanted them to do was come and repair it so I can water my tree. Both Steve and the female supervisor assured me that the owners do not call customers and will not call me. I told them that this was my first and last visit to this nursery and that I was very disappointed because my husband is deploying for military duty next week and we wanted to have this done before he left. All they said to me was oh well we're we're sorry and I told them they should be sorry for the way they treat people . The new owners should be ashamed of their total lack of customer care & satisfactionMy recommendation is do not go to this nursery. I have already told several of my friends who are huge gardeners that were unaware that this is been bought by a new couple and they do not plan on purchasing anything here again. read more

We love visiting Rockledge every year during our annual A1A trip as we call it. We never leave with an empty car. The plants here are so beautiful and hardy and the displays are so inspiring that you can't help but do d more than you could imagine for any size yard or garden. Whether it's flowers, herbs, ground cover or trees they have got you covered. Now with their Farm Market, open on Wednesday and Saturday, they have different local vendors that come of offer additional items as well. Some of which are available even when the vendors are not there, you just needs to ask one of the friendly Rockledge gardens associates. If you aren't sure about a plant, just ask. Their Gardners are very knowledgeable. I look forward to next year's trip! Happy planting! read more

This used to be THE place to go for your flora in Brevard. These days the stock is lacking and the service is even worse. The last TWO times I have gone I left saying "Im done with this place." One time I called and asked if they sold LIVE moss. I was told by a employee we'll call "Karen": "absolutely, all different kinds." So I drove the thirty minutes (one way) and asked for "Karen", as that was who I spoke to and when she came out she led me to a display wall with bagged, dead, spray painted moss. I looked at her kinda sideways and said "I'm sorry I was the guy who called and specifically asked for the LIVE moss" she looked me in the eye and said deadpan "well this used to be alive". I honestly thought she was joking but when I finished chuckling and said "no, really; where's the live moss?" She just said "this is what we have." I left for my thirty minute ride back home, fuming all the way. A couple months later my years of loving this place overpowered the memory of how angry I was at "Karen" for wasting and hour of my gas and time; and I decided to give them another shot (also noone else had what I was looking for). So I wandered in and hunted down an employee as I was looking for something specific and didn't want to browse the whole property. As I'm literally in the middle of asking my question, another employee, some round dude behind a kiosk interrupts me by yelling the name of the employee I was speaking to. The summoned employee turns and walks away (in the middle of me still speaking) over to the rotund dude, who tells him to help this couple who had just walked up to the kiosk and asked the plus sized dude for help. And the summoned employee proceeds to lead the coupe off to wherever as the guy behind the kiosk goes back to reading a magazine. "Are you for ******* real right now?" Was all I could think. Now I don't really blame the summoned employee, maybe that's his superior and he didn't have a choice? I think, personally, I still would've motioned "one sec" to my boss if it were me, or even say "excuse me a moment" to the customer who was currently in the process of speaking to me, but I dunno. Is the kiosk hiding an inoperable wheelchair that he couldn't help that couple himself? Is it actually just an animatronic upper half of a robot that summons employees when someone asks for help? I dunno, but my fond memories of coming here for close to forty years can't overcome the more recent memories I have of this place. Honestly very sad about the decline of this place... there was a time I'd rather visit Rockledge gardens than Disney. Two stars for... I don't know really... nostalgia? read more

This place had lots of plants, Lots of planters, a farmer's market, friendly staff and a very nice place for special events. Had the absolute pleasure of walking in to rockledge gardens today. I liked it before but under new management it went from great to spectacular. Upon walking in bright Caribbean music was playing on the loud speaker, while every employee there was engaged with a customer. The service was phenomenal, a beautiful combination of polite demeanors, and extensive knowledge in their products. I was also very pleased to see on their website that they will be opening a restaurant of plant-based foods and the menu looked absolutely mouth watering. If there were more than five stars on this rating skill I would give them more and then some truly a wonderful experience I will be going back there again MANY MANY times read more

The prices here are incredibly low, especially for such a huge variety of plants. The outdoor furniture is hand-made and super reasonable. I don't understand how in earth anyone can think their prices are high. The bonsai trees are the cheapest I've ever seen. It's really the best garden store I've ever been to. read more

I am a long term customer, over 15 years. I have seen years of glory and some decline, for the business but overall it is a good nursery for anything to garden. On my last visit I can see that inventory and service is good and the garden looks great. The one thing I don't like is that plants pricing is not clearly displayed as it used to be. In the past the price was on the info/legend tag , easily visual when shopping. Right now prices are on tiny labels on the pots what makes difficult to know what you are buying. Please go back to your clear and visual prices. The prices are high but if they fair no reason to hide it. read more
