I'm constantly feeling compelled to leave a review of Rocklin Smiles because of the high level of service I receive every time. I've said in a previous review that it's the little things that matter to me in any service business and Rocklin Smiles seems to pride themselves on those little things. My recent visit was once again seamless and easy. This time I want to highlight the receptionist's awareness. I'm not sure of her name but she seems to take pride in knowing my name which I'm sure is common practice for her and all the patient's. I was greeted by name as soon as I walked in. Now, I know they're expecting their patients at certain times but being kindly greeted by name is not something I've experienced at other dentists. After waiting about 5 minutes while scrolling through my phone the receptionist updated me that I'd be seen soon. The awareness to keep me informed before I even had the chance to even realize I had been waiting longer than normal is the "little things" I mentioned earlier. I know most people can think of countless times waiting in a lobby after being checked in and left to wonder "how much longer am I gonna be waitin?" Something simple as recognizing you have someone waiting and simply updating them seems trivial but I know from experience it takes some caring to be aware of that. And that caring attitude is not too common these days. The dental assistant that I've been assigned my last two visits is also just as hospitable and aware. The kindness and clear communication during intervention is comforting. 20/10 highly recommend. read more

I've now had a cleaning (after not visiting a dentist for several years), several fillings redone, and a crown replaced. I can confidently say that Dr Sugimoto, Josie, Elizabeth, and all the other staff here have been wonderful - wish I got everyone's name to give them credit! I've never had a dentist who was so organized and detailed. Dr Sugimoto got me through the fillings and the crowns with zero pain. She gave me a referral for a root canal to a great endodontist and everything went smoothly (as smooth as it can be for a root canal). Josie had the wonderful job of cleaning my teeth after several years of not going to a dentist. She was incredibly thorough yet gentle with my teeth. I was thinking she was going to be scraping hard and what not, but no. She took her time and did an excellent job. Elizabeth and the other assistants are also wonderful, competent, and patient. My wife and I are very happy we found Rocklin Smiles. read more

I would recommend Rocklin Smiles over and over again to anyone who needs regular visits and/or major work done. Their staff is polite, courteous, always remembers who I am and is clear with my bill and how insurance will work with them. Josie is my hygienist and she is awesome! I had my first visit today with Rocklin Smiles. I cannot say enough great things about the experience! From front desk to doctor consult to staff it was better than I expected! I have had bad experiences with other establishments but I felt at ease from beginning to end! The environment is very warm and friendly! Dr. El-Maasri herself is great, but the billing team needs a lot of work. On multiple occasions over the ~year I was a patient, I was misquoted significantly for work needed. Most recently, I was quoted $183 for a filling, only to receive an additional bill 3+ months later for an EXTRA $200. While the hygienists and doctor themselves are good I won't be returning or recommending to others. Hi I recently was out of town and part of my tooth cracked off . So I called and left a message stating when I'd be home. And they ended up fitting me in right after I got home ! The team is professional , and very caring as well -they kept letting me know the next step of process as well . I had no pain with getting a crown put in immediately ! If there were infinite and unlimited stars, that what they deserve. I have been going to dentists for at least five decades. I have been seen both Dr El Maasri and Dr Hopper for the last seven years. Their competency and professionalism it top notch, there is no better. The entire staff at Rocklin Smiles are principled, friendly and great at what they do - it is like you want to the dentist (I know, weird...). They also have the most modern equipment which is so different than the more traditional approach (take it from an experienced patient!). Yesterday Dr Massri and Star had me in the chair for almost four hours as I need three crowns (sigh). It was done perfectly, no discomfort, great company and very reasonable prices. If I could give them 10 stars I would! I had a toothache for a while and needed a root canal. (After a previous one that didn't turn out well about a decade ago with a different dentist somewhere else,I was pretty scared to get another one.) My friend told me about this office and same day crowns....what???? I called and got a next day appointment. As a new patient that's kinda unheard of. Had my 2 grandchildren and the staff set them up with a movie in the room. They were so sweet to the kids. Top notch equipment and again I can't say enough good things about the staff. Just finished my nine month Invisalign treatment under the care and direction of Dr. Jeannine El-Maasri at Rocklin Smiles. I would give her a 20 star rating if it were possible - she supervised every step of the process, always taking time to explain and answer questions and guaranteed, she's one of the nicest people you'll ever meet:=) Though there are many commercials advertising lower cost options for teeth streighting than Invisalign, the high level of care I received every few weeks from Dr. El-Maasri was well worth any price difference. This dentist office is THE BEST I have EVER been to! I have had to have quite a bit of work done that requires shots, and each time it would be a "bad one" they had someone come and hold my hand for me to help ease my mind. They have given me calming lotions & herbal roll-ons to help ease my anxiety. They will literally do anything to make you more comfortable, including a nice warm fuzzy blanket!! I have never had a better experience at a dental office than here. In fact I have been there 3 times so far this year and I have had a great experience each time. They have a referral plan too so you can let everyone know and it will benefit you and that referral! read more

So far I have made 2 visits to this office and I can't even begin to describe how welcoming, calm, and relaxing, YES RELAXING, this place is. Each visit, they made sure I was comfortable. I have very sensitive teeth, especially to cold water. When I mentioned the last dentist I went to used ice cold water during my teeth cleaning, and how painful it was, they made sure that did not happen with them. Nikki did my cleaning yesterday she always makes a trip to the dentist great, (even if she tells me I need more work done). First I want to say I've been going to Dr Dan and Dr Jeannine for many years. They have have always provided me with great cleanings/check-ups. About a year ago they were having an Invisalyn promotion. I've been wanting braces for years. I had been coming in to see Dr Jeannine for regular checks on the braces. I once loved coming here and always had a positive experience. That was until recently. Once Dr. El-Maasari took over the quality of care has gone down. She's done fillings for me which were done poorly and I had to go in to have my bite adjusted and I still had problems with it a year later. On top of that Holly is one of the worst and most annoying hygienists I've dealt with. She never flossed my teeth both times she's done my cleaning. After I had seen her last year and went back 6 months later I was asked if she had mentioned that my teeth needed some work done. I was never told anything about it. Her communication is not there all she can do is constantly say "just kidding" after she says something. I may give it a few more chances but it's not worth the drive for me to have subpar service. read more

I'd contemplated Invisalign for years. Now that I'm finished (11 mo.), wish I'd done it years ago. Dr El-Maasri and Hopper's office is truly a first class operation. From their intuitive email reminders, that populate ones calendar, to their staff, they put forth the extra effort to make one feel valued. Dr El-Massri was accurate in her initial assessment regarding the amount of time it would take and clearly managed my expectations along the way. I'm so very thankful I found Rocklin Smiles and Dr. EL-Maasri. I had a traumatizing dental experience 10 years ago and couldn't bring myself to go see a dentist until this year. When I arrived at my appointment I was greeted by her very friendly front desk and offered some water. I know that seems simple but this small gesture had a big impact on me. I was taken back for my appointment (on time which is always a plus) when my anxiety began kicking in. I couldn't help but feel a little self conscious knowing at 35 years old I was being such a baby about getting a dental check up. Her dental assistant was so sweet and did a great job distracting me with pleasant conversation until the Dr. came in. After X-rays and my exam Dr. EL-Maasri talked to me about what was going on in my mouth. She showed me my X-rays as well as close up pictures of the old filling that now needed to be a crown. I was happy to hear the entire procedure would happen in office and that I wouldn't have to wear a temporary due to their more evolved technologies. She was so sweet and took a lot of time making sure I felt secure and that I understood exactly what was going to happen and what I could expect on my next visit. Fast forward to the day of my crown appointment, I was an anxious mess, this time worse than the last. Again Dr. EL-Maasri took the time to talk with me until I'd mellowed out and tears were no longer filling my eyes. Once I was calm enough for her to get started she made sure to talk me thru the whole procedure. You can really tell she cares deeply for her clients, their comfort and wellbeing. I can't tell you how fortunate I feel to have found a dentist like her. I've already brought in my son and referred a friend but will definitely be telling anyone looking for a new dentist to check out the amazing team at Rocklin Smiles. read more
