I am a female and visited this convenient location 2X in the month of April 2026. The 1st visit was great from the front desk to my care under a female MD to my release with good instructions. My 2nd visit about a week later for a different medical situation was great again at the front desk. However, this time I had a different MD: a male MD. This MD examined the area of concern and suggested 2 over the counter medicines to use for the next few days. His manner of interacting with me was overly friendly, inappropriate . Although this care center is not a Kaiser center, it does accept Kaiser-covered patients. I am grateful for that. With over 35.+ years of Kaiser Medical office visits, no male MD from Kaiser has ever interacted with me in a way that felt too friendly or inappropriate. I most certainly will go back to this urgent care location; all the other personnel were great, but I will choose to see another MD. read more

We called days in advance and confirmed with staff , made an appt and was told upon arrival that their advertised flyer for a sports physical would not be honored and was high school students only. The best doctor I've ever had, Dr. Apar Bains, recently moved to start his own practice, opening Rocklin Urgent Care on Granite Dr in Rocklin. They take walking 7 days a week, the office is the nicest, most professional urgent care I've ever been to. However, he is also my primary care doctor. What makes him so great? He's extremely knowledgeable, and thorough. He takes his time with patients, Actually getting to know them, and care about them. He's very responsive to emails, if you have questions. I would highly recommend him and this urgent care. It will surpass your expectations. read more

My daughter needed to get her eye checked urgently and this new Urgent Care clinic was the closest option as opposed to a hospital in Roseville. It was clean, nicely decorated and had attentive staff. The doctor's skill set was excellent and the person checking the vitals did a great job as well. Both accommodated to the fact that my daughter is still very young and made her at ease as much as possible. She even got a nice little toy out of the experience. Thanks doc! Very friendly, compassionate, competent staff! The facility is clean and nicely decorated. Dr. Bains is the BEST Doctor. He listens to your concerns, gives you time to ask questions. He will even ASK you if you have any questions. He doesn't rush you. He's kind and compassionate. You can tell his heart is in helping people. And now with him opening up this urgent care, it's like having a doctor at your finger tips at any time! As a mom of a 1 year old and 3 year old, it's comforting knowing I can bring them to this urgent care any of day of the week any time and they will be seen by Dr. Bains! We visited Rocklin Urgent care this week for my 1 year old and had essentially no wait time unlike other urgent cares we have waited for 4+ hours to be seen. He took the time to ask thorough questions, listened well, and helped set me up with an immediate treatment plan. OUTSTANDING customer service, office and medical staff! This morning, I woke up on day four with an eye issue. I tried getting an appointment with my primary doctor with Kasier; however, no appointments were not available until February 5th. However, my eye socket and eye clearly had an infection and I could not wait that long. So registered with Rocklin Urgent Care around 8 AM and got an appointment today at 10 AM. The reception staff person was very professional and helpful. Within 30 minutes, I met with the doctor who looked at my eye and found an infection. He then prescribed medication, which was forward for pick-up within the hour. This was my first time using Rocklin Urgent Care, but it will not be my last!!! read more

I came in on about February 15th with complaints of a severe cough and fever that id been dealing with for about a week at this point, the no insurance fee to be seen by them for this was $280. I paid, waited my turn in their lobby which so far is all fine. When it came time to being diagnosed they ran nasal swabs to confirm it's not flu or covid and listened to chest and looked at my throat.. also fine and fair enough so far right until they got to the diagnosis of strep throat. I thought it was odd at first because strep throat does not come with a severe cough like I was telling them I had, but hey who am I to play doctor. They prescribed a bunch of basic level antibiotics and steroids and a cough suppressant and sent me home. I filled the prescriptions, the cough suppressant did absolutely nothing from day 1, I told the doctor about this on day 2, and took the rest as prescribed. Fast forward about a week later to Saturday... i am still feeling like death and decide enough is enough and visit my local ER where I tell them my story and get hit with " but strep throat doesn't cause a severe cough like this" a few tests here and they concluded it's pneumonia. I am extremely upset that Rocklin urgent care completely missed this and extremely upset at how this could have all played out... $280 for their exam, $80 on medicine, and a week waiting for it to all work is all legit wasted right down the drain. I don't understand how this could have happened... pneumonia is no joke... and to confuse pneumonia and strep throat? I just don't understand and wouldn't come back here again. read more

The office is well run, clean, well staffed, professional & up to date, I was seen in a timely manner. I was checked if I had Covid or the flu, which I did not and then we discussed a treatment plan . I would highly recommend going here for your family 's medical needs. read more

They are incredibly unprofessional they will charge your card on file without telling you. They claim it's automatic even if you ask them to call before that charge you. Also they will only prescribe the most basic medication and will preform unbearable testing to run up your bill. Our insurance seems to think they are running some type of scam with the number of things that have been rejected. They definitely need to change their practices and policies if they plan to be in business long. Do not give them your card information they will charge you without your knowledge. Dr. Bains was great at the start but honestly after all the bullshit we've experienced we will never be back. read more

We took our 1 year old granddaughter to Rocklin Urgent Care 2 days ago for a sudden onset of Croup. She was seen quickly and tested for the respiratory viruses currently circulating. Ryan, PA-C examined her and found her to have ear infections as well. He was great with her and explained his findings well. Got prescriptions for her treatment and she is improving quickly. The staff is great and friendly. Dr. Bains is a great doctor if you get to see him. My review which I pulled off until my third visit. I went in 3 weeks ago with chronic back pain. I have RA. I saw Ryan and he prescribed meds. I did not get better so went back in after 4 days. Saw Ryan again and he prescribed different meds. After 5 days not better at all. Tried a third visit, because the pain was a 9 out of 10. He came in the room and told me he can't help me that I need to go to ER but I got charged the exam fee. Now, 3 weeks later I am out after insurance $640. No relief and no follow up call. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT ME. The doctor NEVER did an exam he just asked questions. I went there for help and did not get anything. It's no wonder people end their life over chronic pain. I feel that my yelp review caused retaliation by Rocklin Urgent Care. read more

We have visited this location a few times and were very happy with the friendly staff until today. Back in November my daughter had a minor injury in PE and I wanted to have her foot checked. The Dr said it was nothing serious and just strained it but if she wanted to she could wear a boot for a few days to keep it stable. They told me the boot would cost $100 and I said no thank you I think we will watch it for a day or two and see how it's doing since it didn't seem to bother her that much. He then convinced me that the insurance would be billed and not to worry about the fee for the boot. Well just today....3 1/2 months later they charged my card on file with no notification that a charge would be made. I called the office to see what the charge was for and they informed me it was for the boot. I told her the situation and she basically said sorry nothing we can do you sign an agreement when you come in that you are responsible for all medical costs not covered by insurance. I understand that things can come back later not covered but a notification of charges would be nice. Or the Dr shouldn't have tried to upsell me and convinced me the boot would be covered to make me take it. Now I feel like they just wanted to make extra money by suggesting she wear a boot when unnecessary for her injury. Her foot was perfectly fine 2 days later. When speaking to billing to find out why I didn't receive a bill or a chance to question the charges she continued to cut me off and say that's how we do it it must have been our system. It is sad that even medical offices try to upsell you these days. I will not be going back. read more

A new office visit is $533.55. My insurance covered $155 of that. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE unless you know for certain your insurance covers it's. We have had great luck at granite bay or Lincoln urgent care. Beware they hand out gift cards for good reviews which I suspect is where they are getting their 4 and 5 star reviews. read more

I went in to get a ganglion cyst removed from my wrist, they were very nice and professional! I ended up feeling very faint during the procedure (not due to service being done) and they were very helpful and caring. Took good care of me, and removed the cyst with no problems. I recommend giving this new business a try, you won't be disappointed. read more

Rude and dismissive front desk staff. I had a toddler with a swollen eye. They said they take blue cross but not medi-cal. I have blue cross under medi-cal and asked if they could check if it's covered through the system with my ID. they said no they need my medical ID number. so I put my baby back in the car search my phone and find my medical ID number. When I went back in, They were clearly bothered that I interrupted their conversation. Glanced up said "no it won't be covered" This right after just telling me I need my number for them to look it up and see if it's covered ! They refused to check if my insurance covers the visit. They went back to chatting to each other behind the desk. I could have afforded the out of pocket but why pay privately when the hospital is covered and the staff is better. read more

My daughter got a rash and we went in to Rocklin Urgent Care on 8/3/24. It is very close to my house and seamed very convenient to go to. They were extremely nice and professional and spent about 20 minutes checking my daughter out. My daughter got a prescription at CVS Pharmacy next door for the rash. We went to CVS later that day and they did not have any prescription sent over. The next day my daughter's rash went away, so we did nothing. Today, 10/21/24 almost 3 months later, I got a bill from Rocklin Urgent Care. The bill is for $357.72. It says my daughters insurance which they told us when we went in was accepted by Rocklin Urgent Care was billed for 1 service. This is the remaining balance and is according to them, your responsibility. Why did they not tell us this. I will never go back to Rocklin Urgent Care. I have been to several Urgent Cares and never got a bill like this one. read more
