I voiced a concern that this was not a normal reaction for her. I asked if it was possible that someone was mean to her, they absolutely said that wouldn't happen. I gave instructions on how I wanted her groomed, everyone petted her and all seemed well. I picked her up, the groom was not how I wanted, her coat was uneven and choppy. that afternoon into evening she was not her usual happy self. she was sullen and withdrawn. I've had to fix the mess the groomer left. I am very disappointed with Sophie's treatment and will never go back.

She got scared and even scratched the groomer a little, but they stayed calm, patient, and never made us feel bad about it. They worked with Belly instead of against her, and you could tell they genuinely cared about making her as comfortable as possible. Considering it was her first grooming experience, I think they did a great job, and Belly came home looking adorable.
