My filet knife from Finland. Rapala.com Has birch wood handle, leather sheathe and knife sharpener.

This store is big!! The personnel greet you as you walk in, ready to help. I asked the clerk for wood handle filet knives and he walked me over to the selection. Large selection too of different sizes, blade shapes and different handles too. I chose mine, and then went through the aisles to see what they offered. I was very impressed by the variety and high quality of products throughout. I did notice the Costa sunglasses, which is a brand that I truly love! I found a great tape measure to measure my fish. It was actually labeled with the state regulations for size and daily limits. And I found a 12 foot stringer so I could keep my fish in the water, helps when I forget to bring the ice chest. It's a much larger selection that Walmart where I got my rod and reel. But I need to practice first on inexpensive equipment. Tackle Town will definitely be my go-to shop for my fishing gear investments. This is a well stocked place to visit for everyone who comes to Rockport to fish. Just to see the variety. There's lots of very specialized items for very specific fishing purposes and parts for equipment. The other half of the store is clothing, which I did not even venture over to look at. But it was a lot!! I will save it for my next visit. A great reason to return. I liked that all the personnel was friendly, approachable, helpful and quick with checking out. They do accept debit and credit cards. I really love my new filet knife from Finland!! Thanks Tackle Town!!! I'll be back.

Have bought numerous items including a couple of kayaks from Seaworthy and have always liked and…read morerecommended them. I had never used them for boat service. I took my boat to them to have a battery switch installed and a trim tab actuator replaced. Terry, the owner, quoted me, "600 or 700 hundred dollars", and seemed irritated that he had to give me a ballpark idea of cost. I'm sorry I guess but if you don't ask for an approximate cost, things could get really ugly. I gave him the go ahead understanding that it would be 600 or 700 hundred dollars as he quoted. I understand that it might be as high as 800 and pretty much counted on that because surely if it was anything higher I would get a phone call for approval. I know this from owning and operating an outdoor power equipment dealership and service facility for a number of years. Well I just got a phone call from Terry at Seaworthy letting me know my boat was ready and that the tab was 1200 dollars.... not quite the 600 or 700 he quoted, double that. No phone call, just a 1200 dollar bill. He also seemed really upset and defensive when I had the nerve to ask him why the bill was double the quote. Maybe he's having some personal issues and I'm just catching him at a bad time but his response was disproportionate to my simple question. I guess what was disappointing to me is that I've always liked Seaworthy and now I just don't feel like I'd ever do business with them again. In short, take any ballpark estimate from him as just that, a BALLPARK estimate. May not even be the same ballpark, lol! Oh well...

I have been in seaworthy 3 times in the last 2 years. Every time they have employees that are…read moreteenagers that could care less about their job, and when it comes time to check out they downshift from apathy into rudeness. Seaworthy is expensive. I have decided not to put myself through the trouble anymore.

TGs is a gift shop my family and I visit every time we visit Rockport. It is heavy into clothing…read moreand jewelry. T-shirts for men and tops and more tshirts for women are in heavy abundance. You can also find everything from pens, to hats, to signs and household decorations. The friendly staff make it a pleasure to shop there. My family members and I bought t-shirts, a hoodie and a charm. More often than not, we contribute some business to this store. While not always crowded, you can always find someone perusing what TGs has to offer.

This store is really, really cute. They have a TON of stuff and it is basically a souvenir haven…read morefor women. Definitely not like those cheesy, overpriced shops you'll find in Port Aransas that all sell the same exact stuff. However...I am not going to say it is not overpriced - because it definitely is. I found the cutest swimsuit top and it was somewhere around $70! I did give in and bought some Reef cushiony flip flops (and my mom bought a pricey pair as well). They were $40 which is what you would expect to pay for Reef...three hours into wearing the shoes, the cushion part started ripping and after 2 days it looks like I've had these beat up flippies for years! Technically I can't be mad at the store, but rather should be more mad at Reef. It is really, really frustrating though. Overall, though, they have a wide variety of (expensive) clothes, stuff for guys, girls, kids, home decor, lots of shoes, knick-knacks, jewelry and more. Also, the salesgirl shamelessly plugged Charlotte Plummes as a great place to get lunch at. Apparently the two places are affiliated/owned by the same people. It turned out alright, though, because we did have a great lunch there...but something doesn't sit right with me when one pair of flip flops costs the same as lunch (which included 2 alcoholic drinks)
