The cycle classes are very much the same as SoulCycle. The classes are in Spanish but if you don't speak it just let the front desk know and the instructor will also give instructions in English. I had Claudia and Torres and my instructors and they were both amazing! Super energetic and classes were difficult but that makes them challenging and super worth it. I know some people feel a certain way about working out on vacation but in a place like Mexico City where you eat 10 times a day, I HIGHLY recommend Síclo to even things out!

They do not provide towels or soap in the shower. There are plenty of weight machines including your standard ones. Unfortunately there's only one Smith machine and one squat rack which is always occupied. For as big as the gym is, they need more of those. There's no dead lifting platform. I began by…read moreresearching: #1 - Could the trip be done adequately in a day? #2 - Could I drive myself or hire a driver to save money? #3 - If going with a tour company, which was the best option? Here are my findings. Yes, the trip can be done in a day. I was staying in the Condesa and we got a very early start at 6am. It took 4 hours to arrive to Tolantongo. The route becomes confusing and I would not recommend driving yourself. A reputable private driver was actually going to cost MORE than the tour offered by Nomada. Of all the tour companies, I felt most comfortable with Misha at Nomada. She was quick to respond via email and WhatsApp and answered all of my questions. There was no - paying up-front via a web site. Everything about Nomada was professional and appreciated. My expectation was that David (my driver) was going to take me to Tolantongo and that I would explore and then return to the car. I was so happy when we arrived and he was getting geared up. He took me on the most amazing tour of the falls. He knew where the "Hidden Gems" were located. Because of his experience - my day was perfect. I 100% feel that I saw EVERYTHING and could not have done it better. Quick Advice: 1) Bring Sturdy Water Shoes (if you do not have any - there are many road side vendors that sell them on your way to the falls) 2) Don't bring lots of stuff with you into the falls. You just need yourself, and a waterproof camera or water protector for phone. (Side Note - I had a faulty protector for my phone - which filled up with water - I was so bummed thinking that my phone was destroyed. I can confirm that the iPhone X is WATER PROOF) I would still recommend to have the protector so that you can put around your neck. 3) There are lots of steps and places that require physical ability. You can certainly take a relaxing trip - but you will not see the 'hidden gems'. 4) MOST IMPORTANT - make sure to visit on a weekday. I went on a Friday and it was perfect. David (my tour guide) told me how the park fills up on weekends. After a long drive - I would be super annoyed to be in nature and to have lots of people around me and then all of the traffic to come home. I hope this helps!! Viva #NomadaMexico

Over the course of a month I visited about three times a week and the place was never busy, well-maintained, and, though small, had everything I needed. A day pass was only about 70 pesos, which is incredibly reasonable. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. To note: the gym is 24 hours but only staffed Mon-Sat, about 8-5ish. Without a staff present, you cannot access the space. Also, there are no lockers. Everyone leaves their bags in cubbies in an open area. I was initially a little nervous about this but it was fine. There are men's and women's showers and bathrooms. I did ruin a shirt in the men's bathroom, as someone threw straight bleach on the floor to clean/sanitize some of the bathroom and my shirt briefly grazed the floor. Nonetheless, a great place with an amazing view.

This gym is always super busy and it's probably because of the gym facility and new updated equipment. Everytime that I've come to work out, I rarely have ever needed to wait for the treadmill or one of my regular go-to machines. I stick to 7 work out machines that don't include the treadmill or stair machine. I swotch-up on the type of workouts as well like focusing on the legs one day and the upper body the next day. Ive been pretty good and I've managed to make it in almost every other day. Ive also noticed some modest body improvements, so I will continue my workouts here for as long as they let me!

The equipment also needs some serious updating, especially the kettle bells. Many of the trainers float between this location and the Lomas location. The classes are usually capped at 20-25 members. Sometimes it's completely packed, but the classes probably average at 15 members. The busiest time is 6 PM during the week.
