First of all, their pricing menu is intentionally confusing with prices all over the board and never straightforward leading to a bill twice as much as you expect. I have lived all over the country in some of the most expensive cities and never paid $80 for a men's pedicure. Secondly, this is what you get for $80. I'm honestly sad to see some of the negative reviews for my favorite nail place. I've been coming to Rockstar Nails for the past four years and have consistently been happy with the service. I usually see Su for my nails--he's fantastic. He always listens to what I want and makes sure I'm happy with the end result. His attention to detail and professionalism keep me coming back. I did have one less-than-great experience during a pedicure with a different technician, but I believe she was new. Everyone has to start somewhere, and it didn't change my overall opinion of the salon. Ken, the owner, is also wonderful and incredibly talented. I truly believe he would try to make things right if any issues were brought up directly at the salon. Rockstar Nails continues to be my go-to spot, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. read more

It's clean. They will rush. The 40 min pedicure took 18 min. I waited 30 min to get in. I waited longer than the process. 2 other ladies started at the same time and were still getting hot stone massages while my toes were under the light drying. 18 min! Part of a pedicure is relaxation and massage. That's the justification of the $45 price. Otherwise, I would've gotten a basic, or just did it myself. Go somewhere else. read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! if I could give zero stars I would! i asked for a regular pedicure then asked the lady if she could use the metal heel tool and was told that would be an extra $7 so i just asked her to go ahead and do the deluxe pedicure and was told it was too late, not sure why because she hadn't painted my nails yet. She never rubbed lotion on my legs or feet so after my nails dried I asked another worker for some lotion and told her why and she didn't care. I go to pay and was charged another $5 for them to remove my old polish. I'm just glad I'm on vacation and am so happy Texas nail salons don't nickel and dime you and they want their customers to leave happy! Zero stars. Honestly. Went here as a treat from my best friend. She paid for my mani and pedi. The pedi was perfect and amazing and done by a young and sweet man. Not sure the name.-- But then!!!! I got my manicure!!! And the man was 1. Super rude 2. Told me my fingers were ugly and crooked 3. Cut them down way shorter than I wanted 4. Didn't do the correct shape 5. Only put clear coat on one hand 6. Told me to "get out and not come back" because I said their service was shit. I have been to a lot of bad nail salons but this is the first time I felt personally attacked and it made me have a lot of anxiety. If you go anywhere in the mall- please go to the other side. This was the worst Mani/Pedi I've ever had in my life. They said three of us down and forgot about us. Had to remind them and then they rush through our pedicures and our manicures and turned out to be crap. She not only cut my finger once but the same finger twice, did not shape my nails left a hangnail on one of the fingers and jagged edges on birth get and fingers that I had to file when I got home. Completely forgot to do my granddaughter's manicure at which point she said no you guys are done I'm tired let's go. Came in a few weeks ago while traveling for work! My wife and I felt like pedicures together. During the service both our technicians both spoke Vietnamese not realizing my wife is full blooded Vietnamese. The conversation between the 2 of them consisted of me being a "Horny Old Man" and my wife was "A Prostitute", the rest of the visit consisted of them trying to figure out how much the watch I was wearing and my wife's purse was worth. Knowing how I may respond my wife chose to not tell me until we were a safe distance from the salon. She was correct by doing so because I was fuming mad. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to be gossiped about in the worst way possible. Note: I failed to mention that the tech who did my pedicure did not care that she was repeatedly hurting me and wondered why I kept squirming in pain. I would score less than1 if I could. read more

They did my nails sooo good!! The salon was so pretty and looked really nice!! Ombré nails are on the expensive side, i paid $74.45. My nail tech always made sure to check on me to see if i liked how the nails were looking, so i liked that, also no pain and were pretty quick. read more

The worst mani/pedi I have had in a long time. A young man was the technician. He gave a lazy massage, hurried through the pedi. Started the mani while I was still in the massage chair, which wouldn't be so bad except that he did it all from my left side, meaning I had to roll up partially on my left side to get my right hand over to where he was standing. I love getting my nails done. It is stress relief and a treat from working 70+ hours a week. Not here. Technician was very rough. Made me bleed on two fingers, didn't even apologize just asked me if it still hurt. I got there at 6:45 and every person that came after me he complained about coming in so late. Had a huge break towards the top of my nail bed from getting horrible acrylics from another place in rapid(don't want to be mean on any part) they were super gentle getting my acrylic off that nail and rest of my set. Saved my broken nail. Gave me a great mani. read more

Went in at around 4 pm to get a full set of acrylics ...I dont know if my technician was tired or complacent but he was extremely rough and used a sharp drill under my nail to take off excess glue and he drilled a whole under my nail! I said OWE and he kept going and I went to wash my hands and he actually cut me and it was bleeding. I will not be going back to this salon, they want to push out their product so fast its affecting there customer service. When my fingers are popping from all the twisting and roughness and I am literally bleeding, then I go home and have to take ibuprofen because my fingers are throbbing afterwards, something is very wrong!!! read more
