Body shop is an absolute rip off. I had a groupon that gave me a deal for an inspection. First time I showed up he did not even put my car in the back and said all 4 tires wouldn't pass. I took to 3 different tire places that said only 2 of the tires wouldn't pass and the other 2 had to have someone being extremely picky to not pass them. Spent all day getting new tires and when I called back to come in they said they were too busy and couldn't see me for over a week. Said they had sold over 300 groupons. Its a 30 minute inspection per tech, how many do you employee that cant meet the demand faster than that? It would have taken everyone turning in their groupons at the same time to warrant that kind of wait and since the groupon is good for 2 months I doubt that was the case. Got new tires. took back again, failed me because the right blinker had a crack in it. wow. I have had that same blinker and problem for 2 years and never had an issue. Had to spend another $80 to fix that. I am headed back today out of spite. 4 visits and over $600 in new tires and repairs make this the most expensive inspection ever. Definitely not worth saving the $30 I will never go here again for a car or maintenance and insure no one else does also. After 90 minutes I asked how much longer was it going to take and was told my car's inspection was done but it would be another 45 minutes before I could get it back from the car wash...wow what a waste of a groupon and my time. I retrieved my car and left without the car wash just so I can never return to this location and close this chapter of my life that was wasted. read more

I never spoke with the GM so I am not sure what he is referencing when he says this should have never happened & he wants to use as training exercise. I exchange emails with customer service but they had already contacted me due to survey I had submitted. They did mail me $300 check after I emailed about discrepancy in original agreement. I paid half & Ford paid half which is what I stated in original review. I did email him & call numerous times at his request. He attempted once to call me but I missed the call. I called back within 30 minutes to be told he was busy. I attempted to call 3 more times but was told he was not in. I did leave message & email 3 more times but did not receive response. read more

The worst experience in an auto shop I've ever had in my life. It took from the 8th of December to the 29th of January to get my 08 Ford Edge Limited fixed for rims and suspension damage. They worked on a total of 15 hours yet it took almost two months. to get it back. I had to go through their vendors to get new rims and tires which they had on the car by the 17th I was quoted a price of $1106 from the vendor then Ford turned around and said it would be $15 06 that was just for my rims. I asked them about tires since they were having a buy 3 get 1 free deal and they said they didn't carry tires for the size of my rims. So I had to shop around through their vendors again to find tires for the car. I finally have rims and tires on my car on the 17th of December. It took from the 17th of December until January 29th to get the suspension and paint done. I was lied to several times about when the car would be ready. After picking up the car I went to drop off the rental car which is in the same parking lot at Hertz. They inform me that there was a bill for about $600 due to the fact that I went over the 30 days for my insurance to be paid . I had asked my service rep several times to keep me informed and to call me if anything else had to be done ie; payment. I never got a phone call from Hertz stating that the insurance has been denied and gone over its 30 days and that I would be paying out of pocket. So after that hassle I don't even get out of their parking lot and there is a loud noise coming from underneath the car and the check engine light was on. Absolutely could not believe this! After they get that fixed two days later my keyless entry pad falls off the door. Needless to say I'll be back in there tomorrow unfortunately. This however is not the first time I've had issues with his shop. Back in September of last year my fan went out on my AC. At that time explain to the technician I've been bringing the car in for several years even before the warranty was up and told him that the ac shuts off by itself and then comes back on later. 3 times ford told me that it would have to be not working in order for them to look at it. So when the fam went out I told the technician again my previous problems and what was going on. They fix the fan $400. I didn't even get half way from Dallas to Houston before the compressor went out $1,700 which should have been taken care of when it was still under warranty. Save yourself some time and money and take your car somewhere else anywhere else! No Jon, there were no delays on my insurance part the suspension work was okayed on December 23rd. your response obviously comes from your staff. read more

I informed him that I wasn't going to buy today and even though I said that, he informed me that today was the last day for 0% financing. He even got his finance manager to tell me this. When Greg the finance manager realized that I truly wasn't going to buy he quickly left which is a smart move on his part. It took me over 30 minutes to be able to test drive the truck even though I scheduled the appointment. I know Earnest was busy, but he could have had someone else helped me. Loan wheeling and dealing is a battle, especially when you have a trade in. Compare to other dealerships in the area these guys are pretty nice. I did not like the interest (for perfect credit) they called me after putting it in a review how unhappy I was. They called me to either give me back my trade and walk away or redo the loan at no interest :) They redid the paper work. Not shabby at all. I like these guys they are cool, sweet and genuine. Had a good experience buying our truck but all customer service stops there. Customer service person didn't even know what the part was I needed to to pull my trailer. Took it up there and parts manager told them what is was and to make sure they had it. 2 days go to my scheduled appointment the part was not there. If I will leave the truck they will over night the part and do it 1st thing in the morning. Call the next day at 11. Just got the part it is next in line. Never had a firm price until I paid the bill. Sent the salesman an email never heard back. Called the and asked for the GM let a message and he never called. Service asked how my experience was told them I would take my business elsewhere and the were so concerned it took 4 days for them to respond. Would prefer to have kept my $ local but they don't seem to care if they keep my business. read more

Purchased a used car last weekend. Internet Manager was helpful. Sales Manager was arrogant. Finance Manager was the most personable finance manager I have ever come across. I am not sure if I would return. I didn't leave with a feeling of excitement. It seemed they just get you in and out. No goodbyes, thank you... just walked out and found the car I purchased and left. First time i got my car serviced here since i bought it. My service advisor Ronald Greene was very nice and got me taken care of. My truck was ready within the given time frame and was done faster than at Kia where i got my first vehicle before my truck. Will definitely be asking for Ronald on future visits and coming to Rockwall ford. The waiting area had complimentary water and coffee and even had a self service snack area you could pay for drinks and snacks. The prices where cheap too. Be very careful. This service department will lie right to your face and do whatever they want to your vehicle with the support of the GM. Unauthorized work, lied to when dropping off the vehicle, GM Hicks will not make it right (first effort was defensive of his teams lies and lack of permission - has not softened in his support of the lies and integrity issues or repaired my vehicles safety feature back to proper working order). We took our 2018 F250 Super Duty in for service last Friday. We were lied to by the service advisor, and the mechanic that did the unauthorized work. When we picked the truck up on Monday afternoon, we noticed on the paperwork that a service was done that we had requested not be done. We specifically asked our service advisor not to do the service. He wrote it on his paper and I signed it before we left the truck. The service advisor Scott lied to us when we asked if the service had been done. He told us no, so we proceeded to pay and leave. When the truck was brought around we saw that the service had been done. They did this work unauthorized by us and they will not correct it. We spoke with the GM (Jeff Hicks) and he says Ford has the right to do recall work even if the customer refuses permission. To have work done on our property behind our back, unauthorized, and lied to about it is unacceptable. read more

This is the first time I have been here and I had a really bad experience. Ford sent me a recall for my airbags in my 2005 Mustang. I scheduled an appointment which was easy. The adviser told me It would take half a day to fix it. I dropped it off about 10am. The courtesy shuttle drove me home, the shuttle van had obvious front end damage and everytime it hit a bump it felt like something was gonna come off. I mentioned it to the driver and was told the boss knows about it but won't spend anymore money because a new van on its way. I consider this unsafe coming from a Ford service center. I called about 430pm since I had not heard from them. My car was not ready. I called again around 530pm and was told it was done and they were about to wash the car. I arrived around 545pm, they said the car was still being washed. At 615pm the car was delivered to me and attendant told me sorry car was sitting car wash area and nobody washed it. At this point I was upset and tired of waiting and decided to leave. read more

As I mentioned previously Rockwall Ford seems to be dishonest. They wouldn't warranty out my previous mirror issue and now I find out I had paid for Ford Premium Care. Got a great car but beware of the dishonest business / financing offers. My husband and I got the run around until they finally told us we were being financed with a credit union that could match the rates our credit union offered us via a phone call on the day of the purchase. After 5 hours in there, and one of us needing to be at work in 2 hours, we were happy to go with an equivalent offer however when we got the actual loan notice a week later it was from a bank at a much higher rate. We will be submitting our online application to refinance with our credit union tomorrow so it won't really be a problem but I find the unethical business practices very disturbing. read more

I brought my truck in for a repair on the heater. Did they start work on the heater? No, the performed a pressure test and supposedly blew out my seals. They they wanted to charge me $475 to cover up their incompetence. Then, I asked them to go ahead and fix it. Then, they finally get to fixing my heater and they say that it is going to be additional days. Total days to repair was 6. When I came to pick up my truck, I expected the repairs to have been made. However, they didn't tell me they didn't do them and then later they send me an email saying that it needed to be done. What a mess! I authorized the repairs through their website and verbally. Why where they not done. I had to drive an hour to come pick up my truck. These guys don't have any idea what they are doing. What a circus! read more

Rockwall Ford had our Ford Transit van from Sept. 9th to Nov. 2nd (7 weeks) After the first 3 weeks, they told us it was repaired and that they test drove it 3 times. We paid the invoice in full and didn't even get out of the parking lot when the check engine light came on with the same problem. We've been lied to numerous times, made false promises like these: "The part is shipping. Our lead tech is out for a while. The part is here and your are a priority. They are working on your van now. Oh sorry, that was another van." For 7 weeks we have been promised a pick up date several times and had to reschedule our routes because they lied! We own a pet delivery business and have lost thousands with our van sitting in Rockwall Fords parking lot. After a call to Jeff Hicks the GM, and Buddy Mays the Service Manager, we are now being told we need a new engine which will cost $21,000. They will not refund the money paid, because we "authorized" them to do the repair. Yes, we authorized them to fix our van, which was never fixed. As a "goodwill gesture", I'm not kidding, that's what Buddy said, they did not charge us for this visit. WTH? He's considering it a separate visit since we drove off for 1 minute and returned because our vehicle was never fixed? I asked on our local FB group, Rockwallian, if anyone had a good experience with Rockwall Fords service dept and over 93% of the numerous responses were negative. It's not just us! read more

About 5 weeks ago, I had my 2014 F-150 Supercrew truck repaired at Rockwall Ford. It had body damage on the rear bumper, tailgate, and rear fenders from a collision. My case was handled by Russell Mixon, Asst. Body Shop Manager. I had a rent vehicle, furnished by the insurance of the guy who hit me, for a week, and it was imperative that my truck be finished in seven days. My husband and I purchased a new Ford Fusion in June and loved our salesman, Bruce Feagin, so much that we went back to him this week when it was time to replace our other car. He's an incredibly genuine person who isn't pushy and really wants to take care of you and what you need. The dealership is clean and the people are friendly. The sales manager, Sheddy Rose, made everything quick and simple instead of the usual 3 hour back and forth that everyone hates. Maybe the sales department should read the "Commitment to Customer Satisfaction" on its website. Its sad when you get to the point that you might have to call the PD just to get your car returned to you after the trade-in value evaluation on it. Multiple times the request was made to return the keys and the car. Instead of keys, they would come back with someone new to convince you to buy the vehicle "right now"!!! I will be posting this on all my social media accounts and ask all my friends to share to never use this dealership. Maybe ownership will changes its policies once it losses enough revenue that it hurts the bottom line. read more

Please take our advice and stay as far away from this dealership as possible. Treated horribly by the collision center in our opinion. They started and finished repairs on our car without getting our written pre-authorization form being signed. Instead they relied on a third party to pay for the repairs. That third party then refused to pay for the repairs. The collision manager, at that point, became visibly upset when we refused to sign the authorization form. At one point he stated he would not give us our car back if we did not sign the form. We did not sign that form. Unbelievable, sad, unprofessional and certainly uncalled for. We called two other respected Ford Dealers both of whom said they would have never started any repairs without first having that form signed. They sold me a 2015 Ford Focus with transmission issues which where not shared with me upfront when They sold me the car and when I tried to sell it back or trade it in for another vehicle they wouldn't accept responsibility or compensate fairly for it. I purchased a blue advantage certified 2019 Ford Fusion in February of 22. When I was doing my paperwork I was told that the extended warranty was an extra charge and then they wanted to pay 795.00 more for a clear coat protection they put on the car and I told them no I would not because I did not ask for that. I know when my son bought his pre-owned certified ford the extended warranty did not cost him a time. I know GAP insurance is extra, but not the extended warranty. The day I drove it home the dealership had to send a tow truck to pick it up. A wheel bearing went out - if it went through all of those inspections why was that not found. A week later the car was back in the shop this time it was the power take off unit. After three weeks in the shop they had to replace the the wheel bearing, the power take off unit and a rear axle. I was told by Capital One that the dealership could undo the deal and I would not be responsible for the note and I could purchase something else. Well the dealership drug their feet and the time lapsed and once the loan was funded I was stuck. And no the AC fan has stopped working. It is one thing after another with this stupid car. Purchased a brand new 2012 Ford Focus from these guys in Dec of 2012. In case you have not followed the news reports on this vehicle it is among the all time bad lemons that has ever hit the market. Like massive class action lawsuits regarding the new transmission in this vehicle. So since basically the day we purchased the vehicle we have been having transmission problems, yet every time we take it in they (the service department at Rockwall Ford) tell us either there is "nothing wrong with it, that is just the way this transmission is" or that it is something that is not covered under warranty. Well after researching and finding all the issues and complaints on this vehicle, I had to press them on it and they finally fessed up and "fixed it". Well, kinda. Then we started having problems with the door latches. The doors simply would not latch closed, would fly open at very inopportune times. Did I mention this was for my teen/college daughter? When I took that in, they told me that this was not covered under warranty and wanted to charge me over $1000 to fix it. I did some quick research and found....you guessed it...a recall was going to be issued due to faulty door latches. They told me they could not repair it under the recall until the recall was actually issued. They were willing to put my daughters life at risk! I actually had to call Ford customer service in their corporate HQ and threaten them with legal action, telling them they know there is a problem and they will be held accountable if any harm came to my daughter because of this problem. One phone call from Ford Corporate forced the local guys to fix the problem right away. I could go on and on. Every time I have had to take this automobile in ( I cannot stress enough how poorly designed and manufactured this vehicle is) with major issues, they keep telling me either there is nothing wrong with it or its not covered. Happening again right now as I write this, another transmission issue that they are trying to gouge me for. Bottom line is this. This car is historically bad. There are multiple class action suits against Ford because of this model. Yet the way we have been treated pretty much every time we have taken it in because of some pretty severe problems, disavowing responsibility and trying to charge us huge sums to fix what are obviously design or manufacturing problems, is just terrible. I used to be a Ford guy. Owned many of them in my lifetime. Never again because of our experience with this vehicle at this dealership. read more

So here's my story... I took my expedition into Rockwall Ford to have my air suspension serviced. I had already replaced much of the air suspension parts ( air compressor and dryer, air suspension relay, airline repair kit, rear airbags, front and rear shocks). I did all the work myself. For one reason or another, I could not get the air compressor to operate. So that's when I decide to take my vehicle to Rockwall Ford. I dropped my car off on Thursday. So on Friday, I get a call from the service advisor to tell me that he has good news and bad news. He proceeds to tell me that it will cost me $2400 in parts and labor to repair my air suspension. WHOA NELLY!! He then tells me the good news is we can convert your air suspension to a coil system it's only going to cost you $1100. Wow, I must be so lucky! YEEHAW! So why would I want to convert to a coil spring system when I have put so much time and money into the air system? So here are the parts that he tells me that I need: rear ride height sensor-$547, reprogram air ride system - $152, air-line repair kit - $140, air ride control module $981... Grand total $1821 plus $50 shop fees, $154 in tax... Grand total $2025 in parts only. Another $400 in labor charges for a grand total of $2400 and some change. So as I mentioned, he calls me on a Friday to give me all of this information. I told him I have think about it. Why would anyone put $2400 into a car that's worth $4000? He proceeds to call me two more times on Saturday to find out what I wanted to do about my car. I did not return his call on Saturday and waited till Monday. On Monday he calls me three more times. I got to thinking, wow this guy is really aggressive. He must make commission on his service charges. I'm not sure if that's true but it appeared to be. If it is true, that's a conflict of interest. So to make a long story short, I decided to go pick up my vehicle and not have Rockwall Ford service my car. When I told the service advisor that I was going to get my car and not have it serviced, he seemed agitated. Why would a service advisor be agitated unless he makes commission on service charges? Hummm... maybe there's something to this and that's why he's being so aggressive. I guarantee you that nine out of 10 people would have said, regretingly "Just go ahead and fix it " So now we come to the end of the story. I brought my vehicle home. I decided to pick up a rear ride height sensor from a wrecking yard. This was only a guess on my part... I had already replaced most of the parts except for the height sensor. After crawling under my car, within 15 minutes I had the old sensor removed and the "new" used sensor installed. And wahlaa, my air suspension began to work. For the end of the story (I mean it this time), what Rockwall Ford was going to charge me ($2400), I was able to fix for $70. For all the parts that I mentioned earlier in this review that Rockwall Ford said needed to be replaced, were all in working order. So the service dept are either a bunch of con artists or they have incompetent mechanics/technicians. You decide. If I, a shade-tree mechanic, could fix the problem, then why couldn't they? I don't like to be conned. They picked the wrong guy to try to swindle. I will not go back. I know this is a long review, but it's true. I couldn't make this stuff up. read more
