I shared my insecurities about my nose, it was crooked, too large and had a hump. I was told a combined septo-rhinoplasty would help both function and appearance. I asked for a very natural result and stressed that breathing was my top priority. Ginger reassured me I was in the best hands, emphasizing that he would revise until I was happy. Which should've been a red flag. Recovery was manageable and not too painful. When the cast came off, I was in shock. As the swelling went down, my nose looked more asymmetrical, scarred, and unnatural. And most disappointingly, my breathing hadn't improved, if anything, it was worse. Six months later, I underwent a revision septoplasty with Dr Menachof which made no significant difference. I'm now over two years post surgery, breathing has not improved. My cosmetic concerns have been brushed off and they have referred me to a cosmetic surgeon who can do filler in the nose. I refuse to do any filler and can't believe this is my result. Only recently did I discover that during the original surgery, Dr. Menachof had performed radiofrequency coblation turbinate reduction, something I wasn't clearly informed about or given the chance to fully understand the risk of Empty Nose Syndrome, and I now live with symptoms that match it, my right nostril feels painfully dry and obstructed despite it being wide open. My left nostril is constantly leaking and it seems to have only gotten worse over time, and all efforts to remedy it do not help. It's exacerbated I do any type of exercise, eating, talking, etc. It is humiliating, frustrating and a constant reminder of this mistake I made. Despite multiple follow-ups, Dr. Menachof continued to dismiss my concerns, saying everything "looks great" and that I'm just one of the unlucky ones. I wish I could undo the decision to trust him. I look back at old photos and realize I never needed this surgery and certainly not with this provider. I am beyond devastated and frustrated with my results and functional issues I now experience. I've become depressed and no longer can enjoy the things I used to in this life. If you're considering rhinoplasty, I strongly urge you to reconsider. I wish someone had warned me. Just know it is possible to have worse nasal function and appearance than what you have now, don't take it for granted like I did. I will not post photos here but there are some on other platforms.

So, now let me tell you why this is a 5 star review instead of the 1 star review I had intended. I…read morewas referred here by my primary care doc. My tinnitus is terrible and it finally got so bad, that I needed help. I went here and got a hearing evaluation. I was then told I needed a 1K MRI to determine whether or not there was a benign tumor putting pressure on the inside of my ear. I could not afford it so I didn't do it. 6 months later, I can't stand it so I go back and get another evaluation. This time I am told there is another, very inexpensive test that can be done in the office and it would determine if I really need a MRI or not. I went for the test and I had a migraine brewing all day so it wasn't a good day to begin with. I told the PA that I just wanted to have the test done and leave. She did the test , then put me in a room with bright flourescent lights. My migraine went into hyper drive. After 10 minutes of not being acknowledged, I stormed out. So far this doesn't sound like it could be a 5 star review but here's where it gets good. Dr. Pingree called me after I paid the bill and enclosed a note voicing my displeasure. He asked me to tell him in detail what happened and what led to my negative experience. Has anybody EVER had this happen before? I haven't. I was happy to relate to him the details and he was very happy to tell me that this experience will be used as a way to train staff to be more respsonsive to patients and their needs. The point is that Dr. Pingree took time to listen to me and I could sense that he was deeply concerned about his customer care. I will defenitely give them another opportunity to help me in the near future.

I flew to Denver to see Dr. Hepworth after nobody locally in Tennessee would diagnose or treat my…read morecranial CSF leak. It was easily one of the best decisions I have made in my entire life. He is wonderful, attentive and is the first doctor who has tried to figure out some of my "why's". None of my other doctors understand CSF leaks and my underlying connective tissue disorder and intracranial hypertension like he does, and I have the utomost respect and appreciation for him. With that being said, the office is a bit difficult to deal with and unorganized at times, and his new NP has caused me some stress, but it is all worth it for Dr. Hepworth. Also want to note for those who do not believe that you have a leak, that he believes he sees, and for other doctors that have stated that he "finds a leak in every patient", Every patient I've talked to leaves with a video of their surgery. Our videos clearly show our leaks, and I interact with a lot of his patients in our FB community, of those he does have patients who he finds sinus issues and no leaks, and others he just helps them find a doctor and answer outside of his office that can help them. There are very few patients who he has operated on looking for a leak, only to find none, and the main one that I know of had a positive pledget study at one point which was clear confirmation that person at the time had a leak. We all go to him because he's the only one who will believe and treat us and he gets people seeking him specifically for leak treatment from all over the world. Also important to note that NONE of my other doctors saw or believed my leak - but my surgery video clearly says otherwise, and this is incredibly common among the leak community - a lot of us are told no by other providers but Dr. H has helped SO many of us.

He fixed a deviated septum, and I think he did other things while he was fixing that, I don't really remember, but breathing was so much easier after the surgery. I have now developed a very very annoying cough due to a drip, and he has been there with me in trying to figure out what it is and how to cure it before I go crazy. Ultimately he is kind and goes in depth in his findings but I did not believe he was the doctor for me.

HRC is now HearUSA, but nothing else has changed. This is a very good thing. I have been a client…read morefor well over fifteen years, and I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Brock and his staff. They're just WONDERFUL! I have an uneasy relationship with my hearing loss and hearing aids. I don't particularly care that I'm hard of hearing, and I just train people to look at me when they speak. I don't like hearing aids and consider them a necessary evil. I either haven't worn them, or only wore one, most of my life since age 13. Things changed when my son fell on the stairs in NY, and I couldn't hear him crying for me. My mother, who has acute hearing and a terrible temper, brought him upstairs and yelled, "You need to wear a damn hearing aid!" Well pfft. Upon our return to Colorado, I shuffled my feet off to Hearing Rehab Center, as it was then. I sulked during the hearing test. Dr. Brock fitted me with a top-of-the line LEOPARD-printed hearing aid. I LOVED it. It was tiny, amazing, and LEOPARD. Dr. Brock suggested that I get two, but I refused. Ex-husband and kid(s) were extremely noisy. He never pushed me to get a second one. Over the years, I've stopped by many times for batteries, new domes, new tube thingies, and the occasional overdue hearing test. I've also run over in a complete panic when my aid didn't work. This was usually because of a loose wire. I had to eventually replace the leopard aid, and Dr. Brock guided me to what he thought was the best choice for me. A tiny Oticon aid, in an unfortunate shade of burgundy that matches Oriental rugs perfectly. I am exceedingly grateful to Dr. Brock for making a bad situation (hearing loss) better. He's a genuinely kind, very nice, and thoroughly professional audiologist. He REALLY knows his field, and keeps up with the latest developments and technology. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He's also very pleasant in that he won't push you into making a choice. I really appreciate that. Excellent hearing aids are expensive, even with special pricing. HearUSA has partnered with a couple of major manufacturers in order to offer discounts on some aids. HearUSA also offers the OTC aids for$999. These are suitable for people with mild to moderate loss. Unfortunately, mine is more severe, so those won't help me. But for metalheads or age-related loss, these could work.

I dropped in & needed help with my hearing aid not working. Front desk took it back & brought it…read moreback working! New customer!
