I just picked up from their curbside service. Got there at 9:30. The bud tenders were helping two others and I was in line. After those two left, I figured I was next in line, but no. They both helped the next 2 people who pulled up. After those 2 people left, the bud tenders began to help the next people pulling up. I got out of my car and asked to please be helped next. They then proceeded to make me feel like an idiot. Just because I wanted to be helped when it was my turn. The last thing the bud tender said was: "sorry we couldn't be quick enough for you, I guess you can't satisfy some people." REALLY? For wanting you to keep my place in line. I have been a customer of this location since it first opened. I am extremely satisfied with the consistent quality of the strains I select, which kind of makes me wonder about some of the negative reviews on here. I mean, you get to see and smell the buds before you purchase them - and I have not been shown a single low quality strain. The staff has offered info on the strains they personally like, but in the end you'll get to take a good look and smell at the buds you'll be walking out of the store with before you buy them. As far as edibles, wax and shatter: this location has a large variety to select from (and subsequently a large range in quality). Some of the cheaper options may be tempting, but you will be significantly more satisfied with the higher quality edibles/wax/shatter. read more

This was my first time in a dispensary and going in I will say I was a little nervous. Immediately upon entry I was greeted by a nice women who was checking ID's. She was in a great mood which made me relax a little. Once I got into where the actual products were, an employee was there to help. This is my favourite dispensary in the metro area. The staff is probably one of the high points - they are always very friendly, knowledgable, and eager to assist. The facility is clean and bright and vaguely has the same aura as a well-maintained bank. Professional, and secure without being overbearing. As for the product, Rocky Road boasts several options including edibles (some of which are seasonal - give the pumpkin pies a try!), tinctures, waxes, and of course, bud. They usually have about 8-12 strains of flower in at a time with approximately an even indica/sativa split and a variety of THC content for whatever you're looking for. Their prices are about average (and significantly cheaper than my old dispensary) and they often have killer deals that you can be notified of via text message. All in all, this is a great dispensary that provides a hassle-free experience and excellent bud. read more

To be completely honest, the only reason why I went to rocky road was because it was a half mile from my house. I had recently just moved to Colorado July of this year, so being new to the area I was looking for convenience. Now here we are 5 months later and I can honestly say I've made some seriously dope friends that happen to work there. I'm a night shift guy so I usually go in while the closing staff is on. Alex is truly the man, but I'd be fronting (see Urban dictionary definition 7) if I didn't say how outstanding the entire staff is and has always been since day one. Their deals are always solid and everyday they have something different to offer. Meaning it'll be different sets of deals everyday. They definitely look out for their veterans and the thing I love most about the business side of things, they're very relaxed and personable. I've gone to some dispensary's and as soon as you walk in, they're like "oh you handed me your I.D while it was upside down" like cool.... idk. I asked for Chronic Creations wax/budder, butane extracted; the sales person said they had it and gave me the rundown of items. I selected three for $88 Canasaver "deal," and I reiterated as the sales person was ringing up my order, "and those are butane?" and she said, "yes!" But when I got home and opened the paper bag they were sealed in, I saw that they were NOT Chronic Creations wax/budder, butane extracted but rather Craft, propane extracted! I had not opened any of them, and I called to ask what could be done about the mistake - THEIR MISTAKE! I was told they could not take them back, but the manager would give me a discount on my next purchase. The staff is pretty knowledgeable and nice. Some of them seem to try to act nice but don't really care as much. Buying straight bud is always my go to, always trying out different kinds. They're usually pretty good. HOWEVER I went and bought a prerolled because I was going to be out and about and it would be easier to smoke. I bought a cone joint of a strain I've tried before, except when I started smoking it, it was very clear that this was the trimmings or just some bunk weed. It tasted so awful and smelled pretty bad too. Don't recommend the joints at all. read more

Rocky Road was the first dispensary stop on my cannabis vacation! I landed pretty late in the evening and most dispensaries in Downtown Denver were closed. The facility was extremely clean and had a good variety. I chose Banana Kush with the help of the budtender. My boyfriend got 1 gram of three different top shelf strains for $45! An updated review from my previous one concerning the 6$ joint with a purchase of 25$ and over daily deal. I find out on today's visit to the store that the deal is you get a joint at approx 50% off, but the exact wording on the websites menu is " a 6$ joint with the purchase over 25$". Do you see the problem with this poorly worded text? It leads the customer to believe they will get a joint worth 6 dollars with their purchase. I never buy joints so I don't know that there isn't such a thing as a 6$ joint. If it were me I would change the wording there so as not to confuse folks because I know two other customers who shop there and they were confused by it as well. I just now edited only one thing, and that is how many stars I give to RR which is the max and for one reason only. Its the staff, these people are friendlier than 80% of the people you, or I, know. Poor customer service! So if you buy something and they screw up your order they will not give you what you paid for but instead 20% off your next purchase. Your reputation is your business and I will never return because they refuse to give me the proper strains to take care of my ailments and try to hustle more money out of you. I have been to Rocky Roads a number of times. The staff is very happy, helpful, and excited to be working. (big surprise there lol) They have a great selection of flower, concentrate, and edibles. The only complaint is that you need to pay attention as a consumer. I have had two bad experiences with the location.(which at least the most important issue was resolved) First sketchy situation, I had been partying the night before. I handed the Bud Tender behind the counter $100 for a $40 transaction. I was so out of it I didn't notice the Bud Tender handed me only $0.78 back. which I in turn put into the tip jar. As I went through my day of errands I noticed I was very short on money which I was in the first place, I then put the pieces in place and walked back to the store (no car), 45 minutes later, I was met at the counter. I explained the issue at hand. The Bud Tender was weary of the situation (honestly, as is to be expected due to most customer service incidents turn out to be fraud these days) They stated they would have to check the cameras (thank god they probably have 50 of them) Within 5-10 minutes the manager on duty handed me the rest of my change, and apologized. I didn't ask for compensation because I personally hate when customer ask for compensation at my job, I wasn't offered any, but the most important thing was I received my hard earned money back. My second issue was today. (not as serious) I had the Bud tender show me about 5 strains of flower. At the end I picked a heavy Indica strain. I did not pay attention again, as I was picking out edibles next. As I arrived home I noticed it was a heavy sativa strain (Tons of THC though, Not skimped) It also stated the incorrect strain on the receipt which proves to me there was no intent, I personally didn't mind even though it was on the wrong side of the spectrum, I like all types of strains and It will not go to waste, Kind of a bummer though if you use it for specific purposes. Overall its not a bad place. It has very nice strains and prices. I do like how friendly the staff is while keeping a very professional vibe. Extremely convenient location if you are just visiting Colorado. It's literally right next door to the biggest Glass Pipe shop I've been to in a long time. read more
