Really pretty lake, came to walk around on a weekend afternoon when the weather was nice and not…read moretoo hot. Quite a lot of people sitting around in the shade and hanging out, having picnics, very chill. Shade here and there so it wasn't too sunny, good spot to run, bike, and walk!

No longer is it the same--the center was usually a soccer playground (and now it is covered with rails and flowers everywhere). More play things for children now than before. It does look nicer than it did before. I do miss how it looked before. Melancholy. A good park to walk your dog, or sit and read a book. They still have the tables to play chess (I think). Corrientes).

There is something about Almagro that feels very comfortable - I think because it feels very much like a community neighborhood it reminds me of Queens. Any I think it's great as a foreigner to come to this park and people watch the locals with their children walking around and on the carousel. A lot of people walk their dogs here as well. Almagro feels very real and inclusive of the daily life of buenos aires.
