First-time visitor to this food court, and I really enjoyed my visit. My wife and I arrived just as the place was opening for the day. It offers a very nice and comfortable atmosphere with over fifteen restaurants under one roof. From egg sandwiches, sushi, crepes, Mexican, Peruvian, and many other cuisines, you'll find it all here. Personally, I had a horchata and esquite from one restaurant, a lemon tart, grilled chicken and pesto panini from a second, and garlic beans from a third. I felt "obligated" to try food from as many restaurants as possible :) Service at each restaurant was AMAZING and top-notch. I would definitely come back here with family and friends. There are plenty of tables both indoors and outdoors, big-screen TVs throughout the building, great AC, and very clean, spacious restrooms. A solid food hall in Whittier. The selection is pretty good, with around 10ish different restaurants to choose from. I really liked the vibe, and everything was clean and well maintained. There are a decent number of tables inside, but there's also a large outdoor seating area with plenty of tables. So much hype, such an underwhelming place. Quite a few spots were permanently closed already. Some weren't open @ the time we went. There's a tattoo parlor on one end, which I felt was kind of weird where they sell & serve food ? One guy was walking around shirtless & to me it was unnecessary... I have tattoos, I'm not anti tattoos lol just felt uncalled for, with kids walking around, food vendors etc. We allowed our kids to play in the little arcade, don't waste your $! The claws are so loose, they don't catch at all, IF the machines even work. Lost out on a few bucks. Lesson learned. I don't think I'd go back, wasn't anything special. Visited Rodeo 72 on a Saturday around 11:30am and took a lap around the food hall before deciding what to eat. One downside was that about a quarter of the eateries weren't open, even though the posted hours indicated they should have been. Not sure if some vendors have closed permanently or if the signage just hasn't been updated yet. The space itself is very nice: modern, open, and spacious with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Since we arrived shortly after opening, parking was easy, but by the time we left it looked noticeably busier with cars circling for spots. It's located within a larger plaza though, so you can usually find parking farther out during peak times. I appreciated the sinks located outside of the restroom areas for quick hand washing without needing to go into the bathrooms. Overall, Rodeo 72 was decent but didn't quite stand out compared to other food halls I've visited. Worth stopping by if you're already in the area, but probably not somewhere to make a special trip for. read more

Rodeo 72 is a relatively new food hall in Whittier wedged in a nice neighborhood across a new condominium. There are two entrances. The building exterior artwork gives an ambiance of community and plenty of parking around the building. There are over a dozen food stalls and at one end a bar anchored to a patio filled with dozens of picnic-style benches. The vendors offer a range of foods, including ramen, sweets, tacos, and hamburgers. There's sittings inside, as well. We tried the bar - great service by a friendly servers. The smashed burger with tallow fries were divine. Today, there was "draw and beer" event. Overall, a nice place to hang out with friends having access to good food and drinks. read more

Date of visit: January 17, 2026 Experience: My husband was excited to take me here to explore since he discovered this place late at night a few weeks back when I had a Yelp event nearby. He wasn't able to go in since they were closed, so now was his chance with me in tow to see what they had to offer. I was actually surprised how big it was inside since the outside of the building looked small to me. But inside they had a good variety of eateries covering different types of foods from various cultures ranging was Mexican to Vietnamese to Japanese to Italian. They even had a large outdoor seating area and alcoholic drink offerings. I was definitely overwhelmed with the amount of choices they had, but also wished they had more dessert choices/places that were dessert focused since most of the restaurants were focused on actual meals with a hint of dessert at a few of the places. Food and fun Latin dance! Came here on a Saturday night with my dance friends for the " Cielo dance under the stars" salsa and bachata dance event and party. First visit. It reminds me of the Anaheim packing house where you can find different food stores under one roof sitting next to each other, that is, food court with a flare. The Latin dance class was free and followed by dance and mingle where you dance with strangers, and sweat and laugh! There is a bar facing the garden, AKA, the dance floor. Great place for families with children. It's strange to use the bathroom where you wash your hands and shares the sink with the gentleman you have just met dancing a minute ago, thus, a little bathroom chitchat. LOL! Finally got the chance to visit this place and it was so beautiful! I've never seen any place with vibes this cool in this area. We got drinks from Capo and food from Kaprow and it was both good choices! I like how they had text messages or a buzzer to let you know your food was ready. This is an awesome spot especially for groups who have all different taste in food. I think food halls are always a good spot for people who can't decide what to eat there is usually Something for everyone. I was confused though cause I know this place closes at 10pm but some of the stalls closed early but do not have a closed sign on it. I wanted Thai food too! Boo! Anyway, I ended up trying the Peruvian place this time and they were so kind and gave us half a chicken for free! Awesome!!! Thank you!!! Downside was that the other food we ordered lacked flavor. While the food hall has a private parking lot, I was not able to find an available spot even on a weekday visit during the dinner time period and I had to park at the adjacent lot at Stater Bros. Markets. [Atmosphere]: The food hall has a nice outdoor patio area and visitors are free to grab any available outdoor tables & watch sports games on TVs by Capo Public House (purchase not required when viewing at a distance). Dogs are welcome, but they must be outside on the patio and must remain on leash. Another great Rodeo location! Rodeo 39 is a go-to place for me, because it's close by, but Rodeo 72 has relaxed vibe, also has some really nice food options. I have enjoyed breakfast from Eggbred with their amazing breakfast burrito as well as chilaquiles with birria from The Basket Taco. Their Birria Grilled Cheese is excellent as well. And no visit to any Rodeo can go without the fantastic Mint Peach Limeade from Shootz. Of course it pairs nicely with the womderful Kimchi Butter Chicken, but if I'm not getting something to eat from Shoot,, I will always still get the refresher. read more

Rodeo 72 Public Market is like a food hall inside a big building. There is plenty of parking here if you don't mind walking from Cava/Philz Coffee. The signs are easy to miss. You have to turn into Walnut Grove Drive, and it's behind the bank. The building is pretty. The inside is not as spacious as that of the newer Haven City in West Covina. The food options are plentiful, including teas and desserts. I was here on a Sunday evening in August. They had live music outside, but it was so loud. I was able to find a table inside to chat with my friend. There are bathrooms with the hand-washing station outside of the toilets. I like it. It's located right in the heart of Whittier. It's a modern food court. As soon as you walk through the front door, you feel the air conditioning and see neon signs. There is quite the selection. There's a craft breakfast sandwich restaurant on your left and a boba & tea house on your right. As you walk further down, there's a spring roll, açaí place on your left and a Thai restaurant on your right. There's a long counter with stool seating on the left that sells ramen. When you walk down to the end, there are a couple other restaurants and a large bar to the left. Hustling and bustling with business, but no seriously long lines. There's seating indoors for those of you who want to get out of the summer heat. But tons of seating outdoors, a few long bench seating, but there are individual tables also. Perfect for large groups. Dogs are not allowed indoors, but can't see a reason why they can't be outdoors. I bought a milk tea with boba at Kozan. It cost $7+ without tip. Pretty good. The boba is fresh and chewy, just how I like it. You order and pay at the counter. They hand you a pager. Mine didn't go off because the gal saw me sitting at one of the two tables in the counter. The plastic cup doesn't have their logo on it. Concerning parking, it's pretty full right next to the market, especially during lunch. But there's plenty of parking in the strip mall parking lot. Rodeo 72 is a fun, expansive food court. Basically what you will find here is a whole lot of everything. They have all kinds of food varieties from Boba, to Pho, to Ramen, to Tacos and a little bit of everything in between. This is a long, cylindrical food court, with food-serving businesses on both sides. The interior is nice, temperature controlled, and is lined with seating at counter spaces in front of some of the businesses. They also have a few tables sprinkled around the facility, Outside you'll find a whole lot of tables. Outside, however, the problem is the weather. If it's hot, it's hot. If it's cold, it's cold. Inside offers the best option if you want to remain surrounded with a constant temperature. This is a popular business. There's a lot of customers that come here. Keep that in mind, because you may have to wait a little while to get your food during certain hours. They have a parking lot surrounding the business. But, keep in mind, this parking lot becomes full, very quickly, as the day draws on. There's a much larger parking lot across the street. This is probably gonna be your best bet to park. But, during peak hours you may even have trouble finding a spot over there. Just something to keep in mind. Overall, if you want to come and get something to eat, have a fun drink, or even catch a beer over at the bar section, or whatever, this is a fun place to check out read more

I wish they added a vegan or keto diet friendly place bc that's the only thing really missing to make this place perfect! I heard about this new food hall, so wanted to see how it compares to other ones I've been to. I did go around Sunday at 11 AM, which was right when it opened. There was a small parking located on the side. I missed it at first, so ended up parking in the residential area. Overall, it felt like a decent sized food hall. There were enough options for you walk through and wonder which options to grab. There were also plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Eventually I decided to get The Inka Spot. The lomo saltado stood out on the menu, so I placed an order and it only took a few minutes to be ready. One thing that immediately stood out was the portion of food. There was a good amount of fries, beef, onions, and rice. Everything was seasoned well and had a lot of flavor; they were also generous with the sauce. I'm not a big fan of tomatoes, but even that tasted great! They did include a soup that had carrots and chicken in it. It was not bad! I'd recommend Inka Spot as a go-to stall and would be returning here to try other options! This food hall seemed like a great place for hanging out with a date, friends, or family. Plenty of parking at 4:45pm for a Friday, but it definitely filled up by 7pm. We were also able to snag a table quickly. Kozan boba was a refreshing choice. Suggestion: more branding because it's not prominent and I had to ask what the name of the place was. Karai has great options to choose from. Quality and freshness of the fish and food is fantastic. Quatro hand rolls, Yubu: lemon salmon king, tajin salmon king, tuna king, spicy edamame were all packed with so much flavor. Shootz Combo #4 which was the kimchi butter shrimp plate, 2 piece spam brûlée, can soda was a great deal, also packed with so much flavor. This place was fun and I'd definitely come back. What was formerly the Whittier State School in 1891 and then renamed to the Fred C. Nelles reform school for boys until it closed in 2004. This has now been transformed into a new community of homes, shopping and now a food market located in several of the original historical buildings. Since this is 15 minutes from my residence I opted to come during the week after the grand opening weekend. It was during the lunch hour, and the parking lot was at capacity. Rodeo 72 is the sister food market in Stanton Rodeo 39 in Stanton, so I'm thrilled this new branch is now in my home town. I invited my neighbor so we ended up experiencing Los Chelaguas birria and Shootz. We shared the birria torta and tried the aqua fresca of cucumber, mint and lemon. In addition, we shared a meal from Shootz Hawaiians fusion and shared the combo meal of shrimp, chicken and spam musubi. Overall, the service was friendly, accommodating and the food exceeded my expectations. There's seating indoors or dine Al Fresco and entertainment with live musicians performing at the outdoor stage or watch a sporting event on a large screen flat screen at the Capo Public Bar. I can see this venue being popular to hang out with friends and or family, especially with the perfect weather we enjoy here in So Cal. read more

There are numerous tables inside and at an outdoor area. My family came here on a Thursday prior to the lunch crowd. We walked the whole place to see what each shop offered. There's a great variety to choose from ( prime steak , pizza, Hawaiian/korean, Mexican , Peruvian,Thai,,Japanese ,fruit bowl, Vietnamese, boba drinks, egg bread sandwiches, ice cream & waffle cookies !). We decided to try the Japanese place (Karai) because it had cushioned chairs along bar seating style. Other than the bar, this place was the only one that had limited seats available on the spot for dining. You can order and pay on the iPad at the table. They serve yubus which are stuffed tofu skin, ramen and sushi hand rolls . Since it was a fairly warm day , we skipped the ramen this time . The yubus were yummy. Hand rolls ( salmon skin, scallop, crab ) were fresh made. Karagi chicken was lightly battered and juicy. We all enjoyed coming here today. I think this place will be successful. read more
