Wow! I had the Bodacious burger this afternoon for the 1st time. I'm usually relying on the Hot Bastard each time but my waitress suggested the Bodacious burger. I'm glad I went with it. Best hamburger in my 68 years of burger expertise. Period. Bar none. Waitress said it used to be a temporary burger but the demand was so high that they made it permanent. I see why. I could only eat 1/2 of it. That's ok. It will make a tremendous breakfast in the morning. Kudos to the waitress. I wish I can remember her name. Kudos to the chef as well. She recommended that I swap the American cheese with the habanero cheese. I love burgers as much as the next guy. Though, nowadays, it can be hard to distinguish many of these craft burgers, especially among the same genre of restaurants (IFYKYK). Nonetheless, I truly do feel that Rodeo Goat does it differently. Came here after work with some friends. There's quite an assortment of creative options. I opted for the Hot Bastard. To make it even more interesting, I got it with the Impossible Patty (per recommendation). Now, upon first bite, there's not an immediate heat. However, it slowly creeps up. It creeps up to the point where you do find yourself looking for a glass of water or just anything to help settle the heat. That's what I loved the most about this burger. Maybe it was the fresno peppers. Maybe it was the habanero cheddar. Whatever it was, I loved it. Now, in terms of the patty, I thought it was great quality. I haven't tried their beef patties to use as a comparison but I still enjoyed the burger very much with the impossible patty. Only qualm about it was that the patty did give way about halfway through. Though, I find that's on par with a good messy burger. Overall, would come again, especially with the immense variety. Hadn't been here in a while, but a friend recommended it after enjoying another one of their locations. It's a seat-yourself restaurant, and the service was friendly throughout our visit. There are lots of burger options to choose from, so there's something for just about everyone. One suggestion would be to add a dedicated toppings section to the menu. When building your own burger, it's difficult to know all of the available topping choices. The only downside to our visit was that there was a very large dog dining inside the restaurant. The staff allowed the dog's water bowl to be placed on the table, and while the dog remained on a leash, several employees stopped to pet it before returning to refill drinks, deliver food, or check on guests. I was torn between a couple of my favorites and ended going with Rodeo Goat and definitely made the right choice today, i ordered the Chaca Oaxaca burger and it was really delicious , the egg was cooked perfectly with some yolk still runny which I love. My husband chose this place for a business lunch and was so impressed he took his family back :) it was so good.. DIL ordered the choc shake , I missed that they have onion rings but I will get them the next time. I have been to the Rodeo GOAT in Houston, but when visiting with family in Fort Worth we decided to try this location The exterior isn't much to look at, in fact, you could easily miss it while passing by. The interior, however, is lively. There's plenty of rodeo style decor, it's somewhat intimately lit, and there's plenty of seating. The interior is clean, but maybe because of the repurposed space or the rodeo vibe, it doesn't feel overly immaculate, but not in a bad way. There is interior, patio, and rodeo pen seating (also inside) The service was good. Our server was hospitable, professional, and he provided excellent service. We did go on a weekend, and for whatever reason it ended up taking nearly an hour to get out food The menu offers mostly burgers. There are many signature burgers to choose from. You can make modifications to the order. There's also a monthly burger battle where two off-menu burgers battle it out for supremacy. Any time someone orders one of those burgers the data is reflected on an in-house scoreboard. If a burger does exceptionally well it could become a full time Rosso Goat burger There are also apps, beer, cocktails, and non alcoholic drinks to choose from When you're finished eating you can take a walk around the trendy area and explore other bars and activities Some tips: The burgers don't come with fries, so, you should consider getting a side of fries. The burger with goat cheese on it was fantastic. The fresh cut fries are excellent, so much better than In-and-Outs. And the drinks are strong. This is huge establishment that has indoor and outdoor seating. They have a private parking lot but it is small, there is also street parking and it is free on the weekend and after 6 during the week. They have some paid parking lots but their prices are ridiculous. Once my family got parked we walked in and saw a sign that said seat yourself. We found a table and sat for awhile before finally asking a waitress that walked by how to order. She advised she could help us. She got us menus and waters and gave us time to figure out what we wanted to eat. Show my husband with the one I wanted a burger, but he's also very picky and likes to keep his burger simple. This is probably not the place for you. If you have the same mentality, he ended up getting a burger that just had tomato lettuce, the cheese on it. He also got the loaded fries. My kid is also pretty basic and got the sliders off of the kid's menu. I am a pescatarian, so I got the veggie burger and the loaded tots with no bacon and an old fashioned. My kid ate all of her food and thought it was a good burger. My husband is a burger snob and he thought his burger was just ok. He did not like the ratio of meat on the fries. My "burger" was dry and the goddess sauce didn't have enough flavor but I loved the veggies it was topped with and my tots had an awesome sauce that came with it and I put that on my burger and it took it up a notch. Don't let appearances fool you the decor may be divey, they have a rodeo style theme and even a bull pit, but the burgers are fantastic made with the freshest ingredients . Found this place for looking for a burger place. When we arrived, we were glad to see they had a dedicated parking lot but it can be crowded and sometimes you may not find a parking spot at which point you have to park on the street but you have to pay for. Upon entering, it has a very rodeo and cowboy themed ambience. There are many burgers to choose from and the prices are very reasonable, no more than $13.50 for most burgers. It is also good for vegetarian as they have a Vegan patty made with black beans and an impossible Patty. I ordered the hot bastard is a Burger with habanero cheddar, marinated Fresno peppers, bibb lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and aioli. We also got an order of fries Service was friendly and welcoming. They also have good outdoor seating in the back with lots of shade which is nice on a warm day. The fries were cooked perfectly and the burger was excellent. We sat at the bar and had a super friendly server - we may have learned her name, but if so, I don't remember it. Our friend told us the Moontang was the drink to get and I was a little leery.
