My HOME DEPOT refrigerator died after 2 years and Rod's TV Service was the company that covered the repairs. After scheduling my first appointment, the day prior I was called and told that they had "overbooked" and had to reschedule (meanwhile I had taken a day off work with no pay that I lost the money for). On the day of the reschedule, no calls. Attempts to reach the company led me only to emails or voicemails with "full mailboxes". After reading other reviews, my heart sank. Now I sit with no fridge (a week now), no repair person and no answers from Home Depot. I've never been so dissatisfied. No more appliances from Home Depot for me. I paid good money for this inconvenience??? No thank you and you can rest assured I will go out of my way to make it known to the public about RODS TV SERVICE AND HOME DEPOT's choice of repair services. read more

This company SUCKS! I needed a service repair for my Samsung refrigerator under warranty from Home Depot and these people never called to confirm when they'd be here, they don't answer the phone. I hung up after 27 minutes and Home Depot couldn't get them on the phone either. They never showed up. read more

Worst service ever this place is a joke. No call backs or any clue of where your parts are. Had to cancel my Samsung plus service and lose $100 for them coming by and never doing any work just looked at my tv. OMG why do I even have to give them 1 star?? They deserve a negative 100 stars. Worse company I have ever dealt with in my life. They never ever pick up the phone. I bought a frigidaire refrigerator from Home Depot 1 year ago. It died a month ago and for the past month I have been trying to get it fixed. This company came once and said they needed some parts which they would have in 10 days. It is 3 weeks since that first visit and nothing. They were suppose to come last Friday. Took the day off from work and waited around all day long and no call and no visit. I've left numerous messages since Friday and no surprise, they have yet to call back. I have a 5 year old and being without a refrigerator has been not only inconvenient but literally insane. The level of incompetence is astounding. Have never experienced such bad service. If you want to retain your sanity DO NOT USE these guys.

If I could give negative stars I would. After my 4 year old fridge broke, Samsung insisted Rod's come out and do a diagnostic. (They are the only company on Long Island Samsung works with). Once I finally got hold of the receptionist, I arranged for a serviceman to come out to my house two days later. Not only did the serviceman never show up, for two days no one has answered the phone at Rod's- just on hold. Samsung is therefore refusing to issue a warrantee since the work is not done by Rod's. My husband, 2 year old and 3 month old I have been without a fridge and freezer for over a week. I have lost hundreds of dollars worth of food and a freezer full of breast milk. read more

The most unprofessional, non-trustworthy, non customer service business I have ever dealt with. My maytag dishwasher broke 6 weeks ago and Home Depot had Rod's service it through my extended warranty. Tried to get a sat appt as we both work and was told they didn't work on Saturdays. 1st week they came in and diagnosed the problem and ordered a part. Took 2 weeks to get the part and when they installed it found out that part wasn't the problem so they had to order another part. 2 weeks later 2nd part comes in and we scheduled the install. So they no show no call. Called them and they say sorry left off schedule by mistake. Next appt same thing no show no call. I call them and spoke with rod (who I assume is the owner) and he tells me whoever answered phone the other day again never put us on the schedule. Next appt same thing no call no show. This time I call and was told tech didn't have part on the truck. So then I was told by Joe they would come sat to install part. So I ask Joe is this a special appointment since they failed to show 3 times. He says no regular day for them they work 10 to 3 on sat's. I point out that I was told they didn't work sat's and between my wife and I we have taken off from work a total of 6 times when we could have had it done on sat. He only replied sorry. So sat rolls around and I call the main office every hour starting at 10am to make sure the tech is scheduled. Each time I called I was told yes I'm on the schedule and our technician is Martin. So Martin calls us at 12:30 to say they gave him too many appointments for the day so he's canceling us as they only work until 1pm. At this point I was done with them I drove to the main office and picked up the part myself and I will have another company do the install. Worst company ever!!!
