The server very nicely gave us four macaroons as compensation while we waited for the sandwich to come back. My quiche was very good although the potatoes served with both lunches were lackluster... The macaroons alone are worth a stop at the boulangerie/patisserie chain. Paul is now another of my "every time in Strasbourg" stops. Their breads and other desserts are also fantastic. Go, get something here; you won't be disappointed.

Not only are there a vast array of delicious sweet options, there were three savory ones: tomato-mozzarella, smoked salmon-cucumber, chorizo-cream. We decided to do a " tasting, " by buying 10 éclairs, a combo of the three savory and seven sweet (divided by six people; we aren't total piggies). They were all excellent, but the chorizo cream and the passion fruit both were exquisite. Add to that a cute air conditioned salon de the seating area and bathrooms with unique toilets (sinks are attached to the commodes), just awesome. Very pleased with this amazing food discovery.

I bought a quick but ruined it while rebating so I can't report on that, but it did look and smell great. I will make an effort to come back here again next time I'm in France. The GF baked goods here are much better than those in the US.
