Not sure who they have on the front picture but nice picture even if it's twenty years old. :)…read more I went through this horrendous mortgage/buying a house process with some rotten players and all of them seemed to be only interested in making a commission off of the client rather than working WITH the client and doing what was best. I'm talking now about the used car sales/real estate vultures that muddy up the creek. I thought Fairway Mortgage was very good and there for every step of the process--A LOT MORE THAN I CAN SAY FOR BUYING AGENT--answered any questioned and actually tried to help. I remember talking with the broker and she said she'd forgotten how stressful it was until her son had recently bought a house. She even recommended a few security companies that she had used with her house with good success. So, can't ask for a better attitude or knowledge base than the people who work there. I do have to take task at the recommendations they used for real estate agents. I'm sure they really didn't know how bad that one person was. But there are several represented at a home closing: The buyer, seller, selling agent, buying agent, mortgage company and lawyer(s). We know the mortgage company is highly regulated and can do the basics or go above and beyond as I feel this company did in the loan process. That's a lot more than I can say for the buying agent. I can't praise the mortgage agent's knowledge, expertise and patience high enough. I can however talk for hours about the buying agent's demeanor but I digress. If a friend were in the market for a home, I would highly recommend them to begin that long many, many pages long process to secure a home loan. Thanks, (person who is no longer at Fairway), you really helped move the loan process forward and with little stress. No thanks to buying agent who processed the deal according to the wants, needs and desires of herself.
