I enjoy going to this school. My teacher is Ms Campbell. The school is really nice! I've been going for 7 years now. Recommend!

The teachers genuinely know our child, and it's clear that child development is at the heart of everything they do. The balance of academics, art, movement, and meaningful relationships has been such a gift. One thing I really appreciate is that the school understands Waldorf education as something living. Steiner's ideas were never meant to be frozen in time--they were meant to keep evolving as our understanding of children grows. I see that here. The school stays grounded in the core principles while continuing to grow and meet the needs of today's children. We're so grateful to be part of this community.

Unfortunately, our experience changed significantly once he entered 1st grade. He was placed with an inexperienced, uncertified teacher, and we felt there was very little meaningful learning taking place in the classroom. There was also a great deal of yelling. Several families eventually left the school because of their experiences with this teacher. The situation became even more concerning when, during 2nd grade, the teacher was ultimately dismissed after an incident involving physical contact with a student. For about three months, we had an amazing substitute teacher who made a noticeable difference. Unfortunately, after she left, we were assigned another substitute who frequently sent students out of the classroom because she did not want to deal with them. After investing so much in tuition, it was extremely frustrating to be told at the end of the year that our son was behind academically--and that the school could not provide tutoring or additional support to help him catch up. Our youngest son also attended the school, starting in Kindergarten, and again, Kindergarten was a good experience. However, 1st grade was very difficult. He has ADHD and struggles with focus, and his teacher had very little tolerance for his needs. He was frequently seated in the back of the classroom and sent out of the room, which meant he regularly missed important lessons. Once again, we felt that our child was missing out on learning instead of receiving the support he needed. We were also deeply disappointed to learn from another parent that the teacher had been speaking negatively about our son to her. As a parent, that was especially heartbreaking. After two very different experiences with our children, we ultimately decided that leaving was the best decision for our family. We truly wanted this school to work for our children, but ultimately, we did not feel they were receiving the education, support, or understanding they deserved.
