By comparison, I found that Meydan does not salt the food as heavily as what I had in Turkey and some of the better Turkish restaurants. I find this to be a really strong selling point. You can taste the ingredients. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Meal started with a slaw of mixed veg. The salad was perfectly dressed and crisp. The generous portion of humus (£3 what a deal) was a great way to start with bread. I had the mixed kebab which came out hot and flavorful. I am looking forward to coming back and trying some of the other dishes.

We're so glad we found Sultan Sofrasi. Great food and best of all the service was a lot better than I expected from a random corner restaurant! I believe our server's name was Mardalina. She has such a positive attitude and even though we had two toddlers with many different requests, she managed them all with a smile and always had her eyes on us, so we didn't have to look for her in a picnic. She also pointed us to the the cold and hot appetizer combo which was a great choice to sample everything we wanted to try. The food was delicious and my son had desert after dinner, which he polished off. I have no idea how it tasted but from the looks of it, it was amazing. So lucky we found this place in the neighborhood while we're here for the next few weeks. Looking forward to dining with Mardelina again!
