As a current client here I've encountered some truly stand-out staff who go above and beyond. Reid has been incredible throughout my case management process--helping me navigate everything from food stamps to my Social Security card to getting a clothing voucher. He's always professional, consistent, and genuinely cares. Mr. Charles brings a grounded presence to the house and program. He's calm under pressure, honest, and always encourages us to keep going even when it's hard. His words carry weight because they come from a place of lived understanding. Anthony is funny, approachable, and consistently champions client needs. He makes it easier to feel seen and heard, which isn't always easy in early recovery. My therapist, John Dill, is awesome--sessions are engaging, thoughtful, and always leave me feeling clearer and more grounded. He's easy to talk to and genuinely insightful. And I immensely appreciate Connor (the CEO) for taking the time to engage with clients directly and being open to hearing and meaningfully responding to feedback. Having leadership who's willing to talk with us one-on-one matters. The living quarters are clean, modern, and comfy. Grateful for the support I've received so far and hopeful about what's ahead.

Instead of building us up, recent groups have torn people down with sarcasm, mockery, and aggressive posturing--especially from the president (Charlie Campbell), who openly says he won't change how he talks to clients, even after direct concerns have been raised. This reads as condescending and alienating, especially with repeated statements like "some clients are bound for relapse" and commentary on "our stupid/dumb thinking." As someone not in recovery, a more culturally competent and empathetic approach is necessary if there's a sincere desire to support those of us working toward healing. We're here trying to better ourselves. That deserves real support--not ego-driven lectures and irreverence.
