Well I just left Romeo Tea. I was in the area and it was my first time here. The ordering process is automated. So simply order from the kiosk. I only ordered a small lychee slush. Please explain to me why I received my drink 27mins later! All she can say was "sorry for the wait." Did they have to outsource the lychee fruit to make my drink? Were all 3 employees new to the establishment as of today? It was sooo painful to watch them make the drinks at snail pace. Other customers were mumbling amongst each other about the terrible service. The shop has potential but there are so many other boba teas shops in the area that you can get your order in half the time. I'm giving five stars for excellent customer service, great tasting drink and a warm and inviting atmosphere! I stopped in today to try a boba milk tea. The young lady who helped me greeted me right away and offered me assistance with my drink choice. I was even able to sample a grass type of boba. It had an interesting taste and I liked the texture but decided to stick with my tapioca boba. The store is so cute! I liked the display and kiosks. It wasn't an overkill of options in your face either. The seating was nice and felt comfy. They are open daily from 12m to 10pm. Lots of parking available in the shopping plaza as well. The service was really good. The girls working that night were shy and nervous but they were informative eventually. The ambiance was super cute and definitely Instagram worthy. I think the idea of bear cups/bottles are cute but I didn't get to partake in buying one because I just wasn't offered the upgrade. Great new bubble tea place, right by USF campus (and MOSI). We were driving away from MOSI, when I saw a brand new boba place on 50th and Fowler (same plaza as the Peach Cobbler place). The cafe is very clean and brightly lit. There are self-service ordering stations, or you can order directly from the cashier. I had the passion fruit galaxy tea with agar bubbles, 25% sweet. It was refreshing. My kids had chocolate milk tea with Oreos (yuck to me, but they loved it). My husband had a strawberry slush (made with fresh fruit, not just a syrup) with strawberry popping boba, and he said that the popping boba was unusually excellent. I love matcha so that was a safe option, there wasn't much room for accommodation when I went but there might be when you go! I didn't see an option for dairy free milks which was a bummer, but then again I didn't ask the employee. The brown sugar milk tea was good as well! This place was absolutely astounding. The flavor of both of the drinks were insanely amazing, full of flavor, and delicious. The bear containers are an additional $4.99 to the price of the tea but it is totally worth it for the experience. There is a new boba spot in the area so I thought I would check it out. The space was nice and clean though not very welcoming. It doesn't seem like the kind of place you would want to stay and enjoy your drink. Especially compared to other boba shops in the area which have couches, lots of seating options, board games, cards, etc. I don't have much to say on the service since you order on an iPad and then they put it on the counter for you when it's done. The boba itself was disappointing. The boba is way too small and is too hard. The tea itself is ok but overall, I was very disappointed by the quality. I hate giving reviews less than 4 stars but I think I have to go with 3. Perhaps it was a bad batch though so def give it a try for yourself!
