I was nervous about going on my own but they made me very comfortable straight away, they are a very friendly and welcoming group. I'm going to book on to some more events with them now and I'm looking forward to them already! Definitely recommend this club.

The property itself, built in the 18th century, is more or less well maintained. Rooms are comfy but extremely basic - event participants can stay in single or twin rooms with private bathrooms; shared rooms with communal showers and loos; camp; or stay in their RV's. The food is vegetarian, and overall pretty good - ranging from mediocre (especially in days when it's mainly tinned foods) to quite tasty - certainly above average for the spiritual, yoga of 'New Age' retreats that take place there. Except for camping, prices are exceptionally steep, but they support the philanthropic work of Sir Richard Glyn. The kitchen staff are mainly volunteers; they talk enthusiastically about the works that go on at the RG Foundation, so why should we complain?
