the parts that were left in my car

THIS IS THE ALL TIME WORST DEALERSHIP I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I brought my car in to be fixed after my ignition and window were broken during an attempted burglary. After a week of them having my car, I was informed the day of pick up that they had 'lost' my car, and to make a police report. We rushed over to the dealership where they admitted they had gotten my car running, and drivable, then left it outside with a busted rear window and a broken ignition. My car was damaged to the point that it didn't require a key to start the car, so it had obviously been stolen. In the meantime, I was given a loaner car while waiting for updates on my car from the police. After 2 days of driving the loaner, I noticed the trip permit had expired on 07/12/2025, which was 5 months ago. I had to go out of my way to drive back to the dealership and get the dealer plate so I could legally drive it. As I was leaving, I opened the glove box and found three other loaner agreements from previous customers. These documents included full names, addresses and driver license numbers. Leaving private information in a loaner car is highly inappropriate and a major invasion of privacy. It should have NEVER been left in the car. As for the loaner, I returned it four days before my car was ready because I was as going on vacation. Two days into my vacation, I received an urgent call, demanding I bring the car back because the plates were expired. My car was eventually found and towed back to the dealership for repairs. A week and a half later, they claimed my car was fixed. Even though , there was still glass on my seats and on the floor boards. Clearly they did only a light vacuum and didn't even bother to move my seats to check for any visible glass. Overall, this dealership has cost me a lot of money, time and emotional stress. They have zero regard for quality customer service, accountability and basic professionalism. I have never felt so disrespected in my life, and I will never bring my car back. Save yourself the trouble and go anywhere else

Dealing with car troubles can be overwhelming. It always seems to arise at the worst time, causing you to feel frantic amidst a life that is already full of surprises. When this happens, you look for someone you feel you can trust to provide you with clear guidance, expectations, and answers. Someone who puts your tensions at ease to the best of their abilities knowing your vehicle is in their care. My experience at Ron Tonkin Kia's Service Center has been far from this. I have brought my vehicle to them for servicing three times over the course of a month. Their communication with me has been minimal, unclear, and blatantly rude. When attempting to reach out to multiple members of the service team, which included Service Advisor Jennifer Lopez and Service Manager Geoff Walker, my questions were not answered, my concerns not addressed, and my time not taken seriously. Instead of taking the time to have a clear and effective conversation, to allow me as a customer to better understand the ongoing issues with my vehicle, I was dismissed as an annoyance and hassle to deal with. I left with my questions unanswered, my concerns not validated, and my vehicle still having issues. As someone who has worked in the customer service industry for years, I understand how stressful it can be. Day in and out you are dealing with people on some of their worst days. I also know from my experience that all people want in these times is someone to listen, take their concerns seriously, and put them at ease. It is unfortunate that the staff at Ron Tonkin Kia have not shown their commitment to their customers. This is an industry that would not be successful without its customers after all. I only hope that in the future they can remember that people are coming to them on some of their worst days, hoping for maybe a little bit of light. After deciding to not proceed with doing business with Ron Tonkin Kia, I was told I could come pick up my vehicle exactly as I left it. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, this was the state it was left in (see attached photos). I can assure you, this is not the state in which I left my vehicle.

The scratch that came with the car

Hi, I bought my 2017 Toyota Pacifica from this dealer about over three months ago now. They were very efficient in getting me a car, but they have not kept their word on getting anything fixed that was broken with the car. The scratch that is now rusting (That they said they would fix) is still there. The six spark plugs had to be replaced (which cost me around $1k ) and the gearbox has started to shift funny. Which means they're a very detailed mechanical inspection is not very detailed or they are just not telling customers what's wrong with the vehicle. I also have still not received my license plate plates. As much as they keep on saying they are wanting to help somehow nothing seems to get fixed, I am very disappointed in this dealership, and if anyone goes there to look for a vehicle, take the car to a mechanic beforehand

I dont even know where to start I'm so upset! So I was looking for my dream car which was a bmw f10 550 for months and after long searching and turning down 3 at other dealerships I decided to go with this one! I clearly ask if there were any scratches dings or dents on the vehicle and they said no and sent a video and it looked great and didn't show anything besides little small chips on the front bumper that I was aware of and that was fine with me! Well after I received it and took it home later that day I noticed that there was a scape on the rear quarter panel that was touched up and a crack in the paint on the top right side quarter panel trim! So then I started a full inspection and noticed that the bottom of the front bumper was scraped! So I eventually washed the car and then some touch up paint came off! They only informed me of the speckles on the front bumper but never showed the bottom in the video nor did they show the top quarter panel trim that had the bigger damages hmm! The amount that I paid for this car it shouldn't have looked like this! If I was to take this through a automatic car wash the paint would probably flake right off from the crack! Eventually it will! Now I have to put more money into this car and have some repainting done! I will be following up with an attorney about this misrepresentation for the repairs that I will have to do! Get ready for small claims court Kia!

She got excited. We looked up some on carguru and Platt came up in our search. Their place was few miles down the road so we went down thinking we'd be turned away. Peter was more than happy to accommodate. He let us test drive a couple different models including a Bolt. It really opened our eyes to these vehicles. He talked with us after the test drives and was happy to answer questions, give advice and info on all types of EV's (this was after close mind you). We weren't quite ready to purchase a car yet so we left. Peter's non-pushy attitude and kindness stuck with us. About two months later we decided to pull the trigger. I couldn't think of any other place to look for an EV. We had a list of options we wanted and Peter accommodated us and pulled a bunch of cars from their list. We test drove a couple AWD Nissan Aryia Engage+ e-4orce and really liked them. We went ahead and purchased one. It was a lease return with 15k miles. The EV was in great condition and the price was right. They were generous with our trade in and all the paperwork was very swift. I think we were out of there in under 2 hours. We highly recommend Platt Auto if interested in an used EV. You wont be sorry. They have a lot of different models to choose from.

Today they informed me that my repair was ready to go. And I asked them to provide an Uber for me to take me from my house to the facility so I can pick up my car. It's something they've done EVERY SINGLE TIME IN THE PAST. Now they're telling me, they'll only cover $15 toward the cost of the Uber, and everything else will go on my bill. They said it was a "management decision." Let me just add, this is going to be an expensive repair (over $1000). They did, in fact, charge me the extra $3 for the Uber and when I spoke to the service manager, he threw his arms up and said, this is a company decision. And it's the same at every Volkswagen dealership in the entire Portland area. So lesson number one, don't take your car to the dealer. But it seems to me that any service manager worth their salt would have said something to the effect of "oh, I'm so sorry that you don't like this new policy. Let me take off the $3 charge as a courtesy, as a way to maintain your continued business... Buehler?...Anyone?...Buehler? However, I am not and never will be good at undoing codes or locks. First of all I did not know my car had a "valet mode" probably because I'm too cheap to use that service when available! Side note- when your vehicle is in valet mode you can only operate the vehicle up to 30mph and you have no power steering Yes, it was humbling to drive down I-205 in the slow lane being flipped off and passed in annoyance! This however Does remind me to be more patient with slow drivers! They may be suffering the same sentence handed down from their child! Ironically we were taking the vehicle to be detailed. I'm sure the owner thought we did not trust him or that I worked for the CIA and had an incredible amount of classified data on my media console.JK we were hurried and after a mini attempt to master "The unlocking of valet mode" I surrendered defeat and vowed to unlock it after it was detailed. The following day I picked up my car. I pulled out my owners manual to research valet mode. After an exhaustive futile search I admitted my powerlessness and called the dealer. They told me to call the general GMC customer support. As I am making calls I'm simultaneously trying to google my way into a code breaking revelation! After 4 department transfers Finally GMC suggested I call on star (no I don't have "on star" activated to answer your ?) but they assured me they could help as they oversee that portion of the vehicle. So I call "on star" and I am trying to hit the right number to get me to a human so I can have a 2-way conversation! Yet, all options seem to lead to a 1sided conversation and me being the only breathing option. Finally I am sent to a customer service agent and I'm like 8th caller in line! So I wait and keep googling and reading trying find the answer. Suddenly The hold music ceases and I began to hear an open line (yeah! ) and then click! I'm hung up on! Ughs! So I repeat this process. Finally I get to an incredibly helpful empathetic rep who tried earnestly to find an answer for me. Until finally I am the one saying "it's all ok I'll try a dealer again! I'm sorry you are are so sorry we don't have an answer!" At this point I'm beginning to realize their is obvious reasons they don't just give you this valet code! Dah! So I see most people had to take it to a dealer, wait for an appt and were charged around $200!! So I call Michael back at Auto Buick GMC dealership in Gladstone. First he says You are still working on that???? Yes it had been hours of my Saturday! He said bring the vehicle by now and I'll have one of my guys take a look at it.
