This was a great pizza, sufficient toppings and great cheese. The crust is NY style and a little thin but good. Tasted freshly made with good ingredients. The only problem we had was they take cash only, I asked if they would take a check and they said yes. When it got delivered the driver stated he couldn't take it. I drove in from Los Angeles this morning to pick up some food for the Stem Cell clinic right across the border in Algodones, MX.. As soon as I walked in was greeted by Ronnie the owner , he was friendly and very courteous . I ordered 2 party size pizzas and 2 Philly cheese sandwiches . He asked if I was having a party, I explained to him that I was taking it for the clinic where I take my wife ,because they are so good to her. Ronnie showed us some love and gave the sandwiches on the house, he didn't have to but it shows he is a considerate and thoughtful person and we appreciate his nice gesture. The pizzas were fantastic with plenty of toppings and those Philly Cheese sandwiches , oh my God !!! were they delicious . This place gets a 5 star rating for customer service and Quality Food !!!. Good pizza but HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I placed a phone order as I was looking at the menu I placed a order for the hottest cheesesteak and the older lady who was taking my order asked if wanted everything on it and I repeated myself twice ! Came home and realized it wasn't the sub I asked for she literally told me I was lying and that I never asked for the specialty sub twice ! She demanded I bring back the sub in order to get a new one made ..... cool fine here's to going back and forth well I went back and I didn't get a hey I'm sorry for the inconvenience or anything like that THIS LADY goes .... Why do people in Yuma like this place? Pizza was a 3.7/10. Extremely greasy and pepperoni was bad. Philly cheesesteak had no flavor. No value for the price. This restaraunt also is cash only. I don't know what the deal is with all these place s in Yuma getting 5 stars! WTF? This place right here, though, deserves it! Best Pizza and Cheesesteaks in town, and from what I hear from my friend that went to Philly a few years back, it's better than the go-to joints Gino's and Pat's. I don't know about his testimony, but I know that they're comparable to Daglio's in Tucson. The staff is always friendly, downside: I think the max capacity is like 12! (Seriously i think they have like 12 chairs to sit in) and it's cash only. I only get the Cheese steak with mushrooms, onions, extra cheese and extra meat. Why deviate from perfection? My wife tried the pizza steak and it was awesome. Their maranara is some of the best i've ever tasted. The wings are very tasty too, they kind of have a grilled, smokey taste to them. read more

I am not a cheesesteak aficionado, but Ronnie's seems to know what they're doing. It wasn't bad, but probably won't win any awards. The pizza crust was thin and chewy, with a nice flavor and texture. The sauce was tangy and sweet and didn't distract from other elements. The cheese and toppings were also of adequate quality and taste. Look, if you want the best sandwich in Yuma, go to Ronnie's. After our 3rd day in labor and delivery right down the road at YRMC I wanted to try something new that I hadn't had in town. Checked out Ronnie's website and looked at reviews. Decided to get the cheesesteak. Walked in asked for a large cheesesteak and then drove back with it to the hospital. Opened the bag and score hot pepper salsa/jam. Unwrapped the steak poured the salsa/jam on top took a bite and was immediately taken back to Geno's in Philly, and I was just overwhelmed with absolute deliciousness. I am so impressed and you just have to try it. Simply put, go get one now! I'll be back in a few days to try their pizza and Stromboli. Absolutely the worst pizza in Yuma, and that is saying much because all of the pizza in Yuma is mediocre at best. Basically this is the worst of the worst. Weak sauce, way too greasy, soggy crust. While this pizza shop doesn't seen to have the best pizza I've had, still is pretty good. Ordered a medium pepperoni and sausage pizza, as well as some bread and cheese. The bread and cheese was marginal at best, overpriced for what it is. The pizza on the other hand was good. Particularly liked the sauce and the sausage. The sausage was actually a tad spicy, which I liked and didn't expect. The crust was a little rubbery, but this could've been because it was a little cold by time got back to eat it. Reason for the four stars was the general quality of the pizza, but more importantly the ambiance of this place. Really enjoyed it as seems like they really cared about the product that's put out. The food here is pretty good I came here based on several recommendations that this is one of the best places to eat in Yuma. And of course the place met my expectations and that the food was excellent. However, the service here was pretty bad I felt like the people that work here are fairly rude didn't care too much about your business. Really, really solid local pizza place. If you're just one person and hungry, I would recommend the 12". I got a 14" and even being really hungry I only downed about 5 1/2 slices. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch and it was great, the ingredients tasted very good and it all came together well. They only take cash but it's well worth it! read more

The food was ok. I remember the first time I tried their Philly cheesesteaks, and I thought they were amazing. So, after so long I decided to go and get some for dinner. I guess the prices went up, because I order 2 six inches and a large one (12 inches), paying a total of $38.04. Wife was told $59 on phone for 2 pizzas and bread sticks...but when it was delivered said $69. I chalked it up to mishearing, but but was shocked at price even at $59 but wanted to try out a local business. Pizza was cold and dry. I actually called to ask about the price because they didn't have prices posted online, and I was told they charged per meatball even though it listed meatballs as a side. I was told if I didn't like the price don't b**** by whoever I spoke with on the phone. Rude and horrible customer service, shady charging, and pizza was cold. For $70 for pizza it should have been delivered warm/hot. Highly dissatisfied with this experience and will not use again. I've been to Ronnie's pizza a total of two times, my boyfriends an east coast man and he loves coming here and in the two times I've had it I love it too, the pizza is so mouthwatering and absolutely delicious but what took us both by surprise were the stromboli's!!!! Absolutely perfect gooey cheesy amazing delicious and not to mention HUGE seriously the Stromboli feeds 3 people easy. I look forward to coming back and trying more things on the menu ! In town for work and as always, gotta find a pizza place. Read the Yelp reviews and people in our office said it was good also. stopped in a little after noon and ordered an XL pizza. We picked 1/2 Pepperoni & Banana Peppers, 1/2 Sausage Onions green peppers, also picked up the Garlic bread with cheese. Was excited that they make there own dough (saw the mixer in back) and own sauce. Garlic bread came out first and was REALLY good although it didn't seem like much to go around (only 3 of us) so i was a tad disappointed but at least the pizza came out right when we were finished. Pizza was VERY large, wasn't expecting that and contained PLENTY of toppings so i was pretty excited. the sauce had a good flavor to it and the dough was nicely rolled out and even. Biggest complaint was the cooking. the center 2 or so inches was soft and a tad undercooked, but the rest was nice and crispy and cooked perfect, but it was easy to overlook. very friendly mom and pop style shop. Talked with Ronnie (jr?) for a bit about pizza, burgers, BBQ, etc around town and the state so that was nice. They don't accept Credit or Debit (CASH ONLY) but that doesn't bother me since i know how much fee's are charged and i'd rather cheaper food (and always carry cash when i travel. This truly pains me... Let me start by saying I found this (sadly previous) gem shortly after I moved to Yuma in 2004. I have not only spent gobs of my own money but used them and their giant pizzas for so many PTO, sports booster and school events in the 11 years my children were in school here it has clearly reached well into the $1000's, probably more. Now that I live in Lake Havasu (which mind you, I have NOT found a decent pizza, mostly because I've compared them all to this place!) and visiting my sister for a week my first stop was clearly here!! I have NEVER been more disappointed in my life. Like thinking you have all 6 of the lottery numbers only to find you need glasses to read your ticket disappointed. Let me tell you how my visit today went..... First, the guy (son/grandson...he's been here forever and even donated to school causes for me!!) had a hard time looking up from his phone. When grandma asked, he didn't want to make me a margarita pizza and put the tomatoes on AFTER cooking. I don't like hot tomatoes. He said no, citing he doesn't like to serve raw tomatoes. Only after assuring him I like raw tomatoes did he relent. We also ordered a cheesesteak with mushrooms, onion and peppers. Mind you, I've only eaten a bazillion cheesesteaks from here, and because I figured never having one in Philly this had to be the best anywhere else. I had to STOP ordering them with extra cheese many years ago simply because it was to much. (FYI, cheese is my favorite food group). Their pizzas, cheesesteaks and everything I've ever had (with the exception of Stromboli...because if you live here you KNOW where to get that!!) from Ronnies was usually amazing. Seriously. Did I mention I live in Havasu now and can't find a decent pizza because this place has ruined me? Oh yeah, I did. Mr. Pizza sat playing on his phone for another 5 mins before he was compelled enough to start our food. Being the only ones there at 1 pm (completely unnatural) I believe the second order helped this along. He brought our food out, and what I got was an ugly, dried out sliced meat sandwich. When I asked where the cheese was he said "you ordered a steak sandwich right?" Ummm..."yes, where's the cheese?" "It's in there". Now, I'm betting you have eyes, maybe you can tell me where the cheese is in the photo? There was a slight schmear on one side of the bun I guess, but I know I had to stop ordering extra cheese long ago because...^yeah, it's up there. The pizza crust was the ONLY thing that hasn't changed. There was no garlic on the pizza, a few measly ripped basil leaves about 7-8 paper thin slices of my yes, raw tomatoes. They probably would have been deliciously raw and plump had I tasted them. We ate, sort of. Before mid point we just gave up and asked for a box. My teenage nephew as will any will eat pretty much anything, so after he picks the tomato wafers off I'm sure it will be a filling post school graze before dinner. The final stab to my heart was sweet grandma going into a room with a freezer and pulling out a trash bag full of frozen buns to restock. I actually just want to cry..... read more

Small restaurant, in a small plaza, with a small parking lot. It's a total hole in the wall, but I love it! IT's very small and humble. There are probably less than 10 small tables inside this crowded place. Once you walk into the restaurant, you are at the counter, and someone's there to help you if you are ready to order. There are a few sizes of pizzas you can order and I like how they hang an example platter to demonstrate exactly how big the pizza sizes are going to be. The menu is simple and easy to follow. Once you order, you pay and cross your fingers there will be a table available for you to sit and enjoy the pizza. There actually wasn't a table available on the Saturday night I decided to go, but the cashier guy was so nice and opened up a table that was reserved for management for us to sit. Food: 1) Margherita Pizza: delicious! The crust was perfect! The cheeses tasted really fresh! The olive oil spiced up the flavor of the pizza! 2) Pizza with Olives, onions and mushrooms: Also delicious! Great crust with good/fresh toppings! 3) Salads: came in a moderate sized Styrofoam bowl, the lettuce, carrots and tomatoes seemed really fresh, like they just washed and chopped it up on the spot. Ambiance: Very small and cozy. The walls were lined with a cowboy theme. It was loud inside but that helped highlight how busy and cozy the place was. It definitely gave off a hole in the wall feeling. Feels like a place that you'd find in the middle of America, like if you were on a road trip or something. Service: The cashier guy was very friendly and nice. He was opened up the reserved/management table for us, what more can I ask for? Price: Reasonable for a pizza. I like we got two small pizzas and each was about $19. The small pizzas were pretty BIG too! They were 12" pizzas. We couldn't even finish both the pizzas. Overall: I liked the pizzas here! I wouldn't mind coming back! I heard the cheesesteak sandwiches are really good! Can't wait to try those next time! Oh my gosh! Love this place! My only regret in moving to the southwest was the lack of good Italian food and pizza. Ronnie's is real "back East" pizza. So delish! Out West with pizza or Italian it is so over seasoned and has too much garlic but Ronnie's has just the perfect balance OK....all the pizzas are good. The stuffed rigatonis and garlic bread are heavenly (and they aren't chintzy with the marinara sauce.) You like Stromboli? You'll love theirs! I always order the pizza Stromboli with pepperoni,mushrooms and black olives. So good. Their wings are surprisingly good. Don't be afraid to try them. The Philly style sandwiches are yum It's a small place but has a large impact for those of us who hunger for REAL pizza. The best pizza I've had since moving to AZ 9 years ago. Had my first pizza in Georgia delivered from here. It was cold when I got it but I would say that's probably Wolt's fault (the delivery company) and not Ronny's. Honestly the quality was much lower than the pizza I am used to from back home but perhaps this is how pizza is supposed to be in Georgia and people say Ronny's is one of the best in town. So while I won't be ordering from here again, in the interest of fairness I will still give it 4 stars since I cannot compare it with other pizza places in Tbilisi. read more

I went back and tried the meatball sandwich. It is fantastic! The bread is soft and the homemade sauce is delicious. There were large chunks of meat and I opted to add grilled onions, mushrooms,and peppers to be put on top which was a fantastic topping. read more

Excellent hole-in-the wall place. For me there's not a whole lot to do in Yuma; considering I came for a visit from San Diego. I was really hungry and my friend recommended that we stop inside for a bite to eat. And I am glad we did. The food was great!! I had the Pizzasteak Sanddwhich...OMG that was mouthwatering!!!!!! The decor...ehhh, who cares. The place is clean, staff was very friendly and the food was great! I am looking forward to going there again.
