We enter the store with knowing exactly what we wanted. After the sales consultant placed the order we were informed of a $240 delivery charge. The other option was to have 3 disabled people move it to the room and set it up for a fee of $90. We have bought furniture from RTG several times and have spent close to $100,000. We have never paid a delivery fee. The salesman didn't even check to see if something could be done about the fee. There were about 10 sales people sitting around with no customers in sight. 2 solutions to the issue. Either incorporate the delivery change into the price or reduce the number of staff. read more

We bonus sectional for $4000. Just to find out that one of the recliners was not power operated. The sales lady said the power operated was included when my husband went to the store, they said sorry we made a mistake. It comes with with a manual handle, the push button recliner is an upgrade. They charge us $200 extra just to get the right recliner when I called corporate. They were not a help and they said sorry it's an upgrade. It did not come with your original purchase, we will not be using rooms to go ever again. We have been customers there for years. A-OK. A fun space to look around for various furniture for any type of room. We were in the market for a new couch and have been browsing around for options. This location was nearby where we were shopping already, so we stopped in to just take a look. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, but the staff was nice and told us just to come get them if we needed help and didn't hover. They had a ton of options and everything was organized throughout the store by 'room type' - think living room, bedroom, etc. Our little loved the kid's room area and we definitely saw some 'big girl' beds to consider in her future. I'm surprised, and slightly saddened, to see this Rooms To Go location has a pretty low rating. I expected a much better rating based on my experience. I guess maybe I just got lucky, I don't know. I wish I could remember the name of the sales person who helped me (I'm HORRIBLE with names) but I do remember how helpful and professional he was yet not at all pushy. I felt deceived by salesman Dennis Burrows at 900 W Osceola Pkwy in Kissimmee. He said that my sofa would arrive today, 02/01, and when I checked the app to track it, it was scheduled for 02/29. I am shopping for a new sectional for my living room and I went to a couple stores to see what I could find. Rooms To Go seems to be the most affordable place and they have a very big selection. Some of the furniture may not be the quality you want and we were looking for an especially good couch that would last a long time. You have to search and really inspect what you're looking for. I saw a couch that I really wanted and since it's Black Friday it was nicely discounted. Be sales person was very friendly and not pushy. They have 60 months same as cash financing which is really great but they kind of pushed the warranty on it and you have to pay shipping and tax up front. read more

Rooms to go locations have low ratings because they sell low quality furniture. Almost a year ago, I purchased furniture from this location, and the customer service I received from the sales representative was awesome. It was when I received the furniture and felt the difference. The furniture in the store had a special cushion inside the sofa, which made it comfortable. When I received the furniture, it had a piece of foam (not memory foam) inside the seats, which made my back hurt. I contacted the customer service phone number and was transferred to the manager of this store. The manager was rude and abrasive in speech. She didn't want to hear anything from me and refused to exchange the furniture. I also went through having a furniture specialist from Rooms to go come and inspect the furniture. The specialist agreed that the furniture needed to be exchanged. I called back to speak with the furniture specialist, and all of a sudden, he no longer works with the company. I just recently gave up fighting with this company and decided to share my experience to make the next consumer aware of the possible situation that may happen if you purchase from any Rooms to go. Bad quality furniture. The sales people lie to sell the furniture. Our sales person forced on us protection coverage saying that it would cover anything. The set we bought had to be delivered more than 3 times because the coffee table was damaged every time it came here. They ended up crediting us for it but less than the table costs. Not even 2 years later the sofas decorative stitching came apart. We called the service to use the coverage and were advised that seams are not covered. If I knew I would have declined it but he was so pushy ans made it seem that it covers anything. My neighbor also had the same issue and same outcome. Please do not buy this furniture but if you have to definitely don't buy protection plan because it is scam and customer service is bad,especially this store on Osceola. read more

My husband and I bought our couch from here, we paid half and returned to pay the rest before purchasing any other furniture. The ladies at the cashier desk had absolutely no clue how to help us, and couldn't even tell us the balance we had left over on our couch. The cashier then proceeded to charge us OVER the amount that was due. They then handed us a paper with a phone number to call to pay our remaining balance. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! After sale service is horrible, delivery is a pain , and God help you if you have a warranty issue! Here is my experience, I moved to Central Florida in 2019 during Covid and needed all new furniture. I understood there was supply issues at the time so I bought what I could get. At that time delivery was a pain as they give a four hour delivery window and with two days notice as if no one works and has nothing to do but sit around waiting on them. Everyone was using the Covid excuse at the time so I cut them some slack. So that was late 2019. This past February they had a mattress sale, so I decided to buy a new high quality mattress for my master bedroom. I purchased a brand name $1000.00 mattress "On Sale" for $600.00. Now this mattress was "On Sale", not "Clearance" or sold "As Is", "Floor Model" or any other biz words sales people come up with. It took 3 weeks to be delivered. After just 3 nights the mattress started to separate and fail. I contacted the store as was told they need to send out a "Mattress Tech" to inspect the mattress. That took another 10 days for that to happen and another 4 day's to get a decision. By this time my new mattress was up against the wall in my spare room waiting on a decision. The decision was made I needed a replacement mattress. So here is the kicker, I'm told the same mattress that I just bought is no longer available and I would need to pick another mattress at the same price or HIGHER than I paid for the original mattress! I went into the store,looked at the mattress and all mattress for $600.00 were inexpensive, low quality no name models. I pleaded my case that I demanded the same quality of the $1000.00 brand name mattress I had bought on sale. 3 trips to the store, dealing with everyone up to the store manager, district manager fell on deaf ears. I had 30 days to pick another mattress of the same price or HIGHER or forfeit my $600.00. Damn the quality or customer satisfaction! I even filed a complaint with the BBB, which after 4 weeks went no where. If Rooms to Go we're a car dealership this is how it would be. I purchase a Mercedes "On Sale" and that car had warranty issues shortly after my purchase . If the car needs to be replaced and another Mercedes is not available RTG would insist that I take a Volkswagen because it is the same price I paid for the Mercedes on sale! Keith was our sales person here. We began this journey in January ordering furniture for my mom. We came in and she selected items she loved. Keith was very patient with her and walked around to assist us. We had issues with the contractor so the move in date was pushed back several times and some items were discontinued by the time we had an actual date. I walked in and was greeted by Debbie. She asked what was looking for I told her ultra plush mattresses like BeautyRest Natasha. She told me to follow her and she showed me one firm mattress after another. Before she could walk me to another Firm Bed I said again Ultra Plush is what I'm looking for. Debbie told me that the Natasha was just sold off the floor as a discontinued because RTG clients don't want soft beds. And that RTG only carries firm mattresses because again "no one wants soft mattresses". Um, hi I'm no one and obviously not a RTG client since I want a SOFT mattress. I will never shop at Rooms To Go again. I specifically have now made a yelp account to review my experience here. I purchased a bedroom set in cash early May to be delivered in two deliveries sometime in the months of June and July. They rescheduled my order several times without attempting to find out whether or not I'd be home, or if my schedule could accommodate the deliveries they set. Finally the day where my bedroom set was delivered, they open the boxes to assemble the furniture and come to find out that the set is partially in the incorrect color. The delivery personnel stated that they would be able to return within a few days with the correct pieces to switch out, and that I should just receive the delivery. He would note it on the invoice, and they would contact me within a day. They never contacted me, so I contacted the sales building and corporate and they basically bounced me between the two. I spoke with the manager about my issue and how I was left with several boxes of furniture in my apartment and she didn't seem to care. She offered a new bedroom set (which would be delivered in another 3-4 months) or to have the piece swapped out (2 months later). In that time I could easily purchase my own bedroom set elsewhere and assemble it myself, which looking back is what I should have done. She finally offered me a refund which would take 72 hours to get in contact with corporate. I have waited a week to follow up and was told my bedroom set was to be delivered two months from now, and there is no possibility of a return. I will be calling my credit card to look into what can be done to get my money back. read more

RUN RUN RUN FROM ROOMS TO GO. I purchased a sectional at the Rooms To Go West Osceola Parkway in Kissimmee The Sectional I looked at was in the opposite side I wanted the sales-person said no problem we can order it reversed. It gets delivered with the incorrect side. I told the delivery person, he stated the procedure was he will note it on the invoice, I sign and Rooms To Go will return it for the correct one. I stated I preferred they just take it back now. The delivery people stated I had no choice but to sign for it as they are not able to take it back. So the sales person does call me back the next day around 2:00 PM He stated they were out of the sectional facing the other direction and I needed to get something else due to the fact that I signed. I explained what delivery person told me. I looked on line and saw something else I may have been interested in. I call him back he tells me yes the item is on our showroom floor for me to see, I go there that night only to be told the item is not on their floor and it was in no showroom close. I did not want to purchase another sectional without seeing it. I then went to customer service who told me they had to get a manager on the phone to approve the return. Here I find out that the sectional I wanted did not even come in the direction I wanted. It was not made in that direction. They were on the phone while I waited probably 20-30 minutes and was told there was no manager in the store, they could not get a hold of one and they will discuss in the morning with him and get back to me. I left the store got a call 1/2 hour later and was told by the sales person, the manager stated I must buy something else. I explained I did not see anything else. I asked him to have the furniture picked up I was told that they will not pick it up without me picking something else out. I was then transferred to customer service within the store again and they told me the same thing. I then asked when the manager would be in the store they stated they did not know. I repeated back "You do not know when a manager will be in the store?" they stated not sure, I then asked for a corporate phone number they stated there is none. Well the manager called me back the next day and I was told no way they would not refund my money and I needed to make another purchase. I was forced to find another suitable sectional that was over $400.00 more than the one I purchased. This was unacceptable. This was not the only iten I purchased I also spend almost $1300.00 for a mattress. Very disappointed in the customer service. read more

Sad to say , I would not give them my money based on the lack of customer service I received yesterday. The only person to attempt to be nice was the greeter. After that, it was like I was non existent. The place is overwhelmingly big , and I could have really been directed towards what I was looking for. The staff did not speak , except for maybe one that said "hi." Even Family Dollar gives better customer service then this place. It was about 4pm on a Friday afternoon. There were some customers, but no where close to busy. There were employees just standing around "chilling." I need a dining room set, bedroom set , and 2 mattresses. When they delivered my sofa the guys were quick and ran out & lied and said that they called me which they never called (now I know why..) they never switched the mattress to one that I purchased. My rescheduled date was Friday, 3/15/19 from 3-7 I called twice and the reps stated I will be getting it that the guys were running late. Well I never got it. The rep called me @8:30 pm and stated "the guys truck broke down"(bullsh*t) & that a Manager was gonna call me and then hung up the phone on me. While browsing around I found one piece that I may be interested in but all in all I was not too crazy about the selection. I started looking for living room furniture at the rooms to go on obt. There we were greeted and had an awesome experience. The only reason we left to go to this store by the loop is because they had a bigger selection. Below is my experience in the rooms to go near the loop. I was in this rtg for over an hour today (sat) and not one employee greeted us or spoke to us. I went in with my roommate and our neighbor so it might have been because we didn't look the part. The only other customers in the store were family's and older people. I'd like to say it was because the staff was busy but I'd be lying. There were several employees that clearly just walked right by us. It's sad to say but they lost a $1500 sale because of this. read more
