I was greeted as I came around towards the front desk, they had a couple gentlemen working when I went. One was organizing items and the other was working the register. Central California Food Bank does great work…read more Their website states that they provide food to over 70,000 households on a monthly basis, and have seen a nearly 50% increase at all distributions since the COVID-19 pandemic began. I've donated food a couple of times through Official Yelp Events, collecting via a food drive and taking it down to their distribution center. The staff were very friendly and helpful there. I also donate cash as and when I can, and have received calls to say thanks from them as well as letters with updates about the help they're providing. They are also holding regular drive-up food distributions at the moment -- click through to their website for more info. I think they're a really important local non-profit which is doing great work, especially during this trying time.
