The "therapist" part of "physical therapist" is very real; my practitioner, Sarah, treated not just my symptoms, but my whole self. Under her care, I improved rapidly physically and also learned so much about my own body and how to care for myself. She balanced trying new therapies with basic core strengthening and flexibility exercises. I was always amazed at her ability to recommend precisely the missing piece in my treatment. Though I originally saw her for chronic low back pain, she's treated all sorts of complaints and injuries in my 2 years with her. The entire team is fantastic, from the front desk folks to the massage therapists. Ascend PT gave me a price up front, said they'd start me without a referral and they squeezed me into their calendar.
