2017 - This school just keeps getting better (when you didn't think it was possible) they do it…read moreagain. This year a bench got installed for a little girl the community lost last year. It is a step towards healing. A new principle was appointed (who has the gift of understanding for special needs kids!), they have taken safety to new levels inside and outside the school with signs on streets and volunteers out in the am making sure cars don't run over our kids! The Teachers - with the exception of one (personality conflicts), everyone is top notch. The PE, Music, Speech, Lunch Staff, etc. are tough when needed but kind and really care (genuine). The Front desk staff - boy are they busy! They amaze me at all they have to do in a day and still are able to display patience and kindness. I've have 3 kids and my last one is working his way thru the school. I'm going to miss it.

I like the fact that the teachers care so much about their kids that they leave great plans for the sub, with the names of students who are great helpers. If I was starting all over, elementary would be my choice. Columbia Ridge is a great school. The staff is so welcoming. I feel great going there and great at the end of the day. My time is well spent here!!!
