My partner and I were venturing to downtown Toronto to visit the Christmas market and I eagerly wanted to wear the hat there. I asked the cashier to cut the tag out of the inside of the hat, as it was huge and scratching my forehead. She noted it would be final sale, which at the time I had no issue with as it was exactly what I was looking for. So, I left the store, hat in my hand but passed on keeping the receipt as it was "Final Sale". After wearing the hat all day outside, and finally getting home to take the hat off, I looked at what was a huge hole exactly where the tags were that had been cut out. Not only was I upset that my hat had a huge hole in it, but I was let down by the integrity of the employee who must have known she had cut a hole the size of a toonie in my hat. I immediately contacted customer service explaining what had happened, hoping for a reply within the 24-72 business hours it had stated on their website. Fast forward to today, January 2nd, I have still yet to hear anything in reply. I am extremely frustrated because as of now, I have emailed 5 times regarding the fact that not one employee has had the time to "provide exceptional customer care and/or a positive experience". As someone who has worked in customer service for many years, dealing with the utmost, pardon my french- bullshit customer complaints I never felt the need to formally complain about any issues I've had until now. I sent out my first email nearly a month ago, followed by many more emails and a few phone calls I have had enough, at this point I just want my money back for a hat that I was so excited to have found the perfect style of. I will mention the manager of this location was helpful to the most of her capability but am utterly disgusted with the service that the head office customer service has given me - or there lack of. I'm ashamed to say I will not support this company any longer as they can't stand by their own promises. Even after having some positive experiences before, one disgusting experience can ultimately ruin it for me for the long run.

Just read the reviews online and it is clear that I am not the only one who has experienced terrible service from this company. I ordered from this company from their online store since they no longer carry the popular items in their stores. They shipped my item to the wrong address and it got returned back to their warehouse. I reached out to customer service who said they will still bill me for the shipping cost, even though I did not receive my order. They said I can order the item again but would have to pay shipping again. They also said I would need to wait 2 weeks to get a refund on my first order. It has now been over 2 weeks, and still no refund, and the customer service team at Danier have stopped replying to my emails. Do not purchase from this brand.

They told me to come in but I DO NOT FEEL SAFE AT ALL COMING INTO YOUR HEADQUARTERS AFTER THE PHONE CALL. I EVEN HAD TO BLOCK THEIR NUMBER BECAUSE OF THE HARASSMENT. So go on with your threats AND RELEASE THE UNTAMPERED version of the phone calls and footage of when I came in. They said that I was lying about the repairs that I wanted to get done. I have a physical copy of the receipt where Tony signs off on getting a repair done. Not a clean. If you can't fix my handbag, then don't say you'll fix it AND CHARGE ME FOR IT KNOWING YOU GUYS CANT DO ANYTHING THEN SAY THAT I'M LYING. Not only that, Tony and Kathy kept on going on about how horrible my handbag looked, to begin with. I brought in my handbag to get a tear fixed. And they didn't fix it. They have footage of that conversation but refuse to release an untampered version of it. On top of Tony yelling at me, Kathy clearly didn't read my e-mail and just stated that I was lying. I asked her what service I paid for if they didn't want to fix my tear and she couldn't even answer it in the call. She was saying that they did nothing to my bag... even though I paid over a $100 for a service? I just got scammed. After that TERRIFYING PHONE CALL FROM THE STAFF, they told me to come in. I wasn't going to come in because I'm SO SCARED after that phone call. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE COMING IN AGAIN. I just opted for a full refund of $113 but they are only giving me back $90 because despite the physical evidence (receipt and bank statement) they claim that I only paid $90
