The food here is hit or miss. And by hit, I mean it's passable. The "Mexican" alcoholic drinks are not strong and aren't really good. Stick with beer or wine. The dishes itself are plain and are really lacking the hit of Mexican flavor. Granted that most Brazilians have no idea how Mexican food is supposed to taste like, this place is actually quite good for them. However, for people who do know how Mexican food is supposed to taste like, then you will not like it here. I think the best option on the menu is in their appetizer section; Pastelitos de Chili. These are kind of like chili empanadas with some sort of hot sauce next to it. I would actually order this as the main course. Maybe 2 orders because the main course just goes downhill from there. Do not order the Manzanillo burrito. This is disgusting and if it was ever served in Mexico, that restaurant would go bankrupt. The quesadillas are also maybe a hair better than the burritos but are also not good at all. For some reason, they love to stuff corn into everything which I just don't understand. The ground beef that they use is not good quality. It's not even average quality. I'd give it maybe a bit below average and you can really taste the difference.
If you are going to come here, then just order the Pastelitos de Chili. Everything else should be off limit. Best if you just don't come in the first place. read more
