Zuppa di Pesce was great according to the wife.

We've dined here previously and decided to go on a drive to Wilmington for dinner. We picked up our son from his dorm on the way. The building is old and repurposed from the previous establishment. The inside is a stucco style interior with an "Italian" vibe. We were greeted at the door and promptly seated. They did ask if we had reservations which we did not. After being seated we noticed most of the tables were reserved. Note for future outings here. Our server, Marie, was great. We ordered calamari and waters. They do have a nice wine list, beer, and cocktails for those partaking. She returned shortly with our waters and a few minutes later our bread and calamari. The complimentary bread and the calamari were both good. When she dropped off the beverages and appetizer, she took our dinner orders. We ordered the Chicken Francaise, Zuppa di Pesce, and Pollo Parmigiana. While we were waiting for our food, the servers sang happy birthday to someone. It's nice to see restaurants still doing this. Once our food arrived, we were definitely ready to enjoy. Enjoy we did. We all sampled each others plates and we all agreed the dishes were well prepared and tasted great. I'm sure someone will look at the spaghetti with the Pollo Parmigiana and criticize. I will say, the spaghetti and sauce complimented the meal because the chicken was cooked and seasoned just right. A good balance for my liking. We will continue to dine here. Recommend you give it a try. Our server Marie was great! Always seemed to have a smile. Special notes: if you're dining in the evening make reservations. For lunch, I think you're ok without reservations. There's also plenty of parking.

Came here today and absolutely enjoyed our dinner. Despite not having a reservation the staff gave us a very nice place. We had ginger beer, ginger ale, alcohol free beer and a margarita. We then also ordered Spaghetti w/ Meatballs, Pasta Primavera Alfredo, Lobster Ravioli and Linguine w/ Clams. Everything was very delicious and tasted very well. The staff was attentive and helpful, but iced water had to be ordered and didn't come by default. The place very nice. We paid about $110 w/o tip, absolutely value for money. If we will be in town again, we definitely will come here again.

Oh my...Mamma Melarangi would be pleased. You have to try this place! It is molto bene"!

Delicious food, authentic Italian food just like my Mom made. Molto bene'! Try it and you'll be back (like me).

This Italian restaurant is legit! I constantly say there are no good Italian restaurants (other than the OG because when you are here you are family lol). But seriously, in North Carolina we are lacking. My son just finished his freshman year at UNCW and after his final exam we were going to pack up his dorm then head for a burger at Carolina beach. We decided that would take too long and he suggested this Italian spot in Wilmington. He said he had been there once before when he was craving fresh gnocchi. (I didn't even know he knew what that was lol). Y'all. Rosalie's Trarroeia was sooo good! We didn't see a nonalcoholic drink option so the server created them for us! (My son is only 18). He had something lemon lavender and I had something strawberry. Yum! The bread was divine! My son ordered pinne and vodka sauce which was sooo flavorful and good. I ordered veal parm. Something this restaurant got right (honestly it was everything!) but for my dish was the spaghetti on the side. It wasn't overcooked huge noodles. it was al dente spaghetti and perfect for the dish. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Wilmington. It was very affordable, casual, and close to UNCW!

We really like this place! It's consistently good food, good service, and good prices! The ambiance lacks a bit but the prices and food quality way make up for it.

Once again Rosalies did not disappoint!! The food was great all was very delicious the calamari was tender and the sauce was fantastic. The 2 chicken dinners we had were outstanding tender and delicious. You can't go wrong with Caesar salad as usual delicious. Rosalies is very warm and inviting resturant very relaxing. Our waitress Amy was fantastic she was attentive and friendly just what you want from your waitress. will be going back often!!

Sat down without a reservation. Service was quick and very kind. Definitely a family restaurant, the outdoor area has the most beautiful tree but there's a lot of traffic outside. The interior looks very authentic. Food was amazing. House made Caesar dressing was so good, best chicken cutlet I've ever had on a chicken parm. The bruschetta is a must, comes with three large pieces. Our server was very nice!

    Ziti Al Forno

Food was great! Got the garlic knots as an app. But got the complimentary bread after our appetizer? Service was pretty slow. Took over 30 minutes for food :( Maybe it was busy? But it didn't look like it. But, i'm also not behind the house so i have no idea what is going on! The pasta was good! Got the penne vodka, shrimp scampi, ziti al forno, and chicken cacciatore! Portions were hefty and we all left with takeout which is nice! All were super good!!

First off, I am very thankful to have found an authentic Italian restaurant that doesn't out-source what can me made in house. I drive almost two hours to eat here weekly. I try to order something different every time I dine in, and I've never been disappointed. The lobster ravioli is by far my favorite and paired with the caesar salad .. oh my god! This restaurant also in my opinion has some of the best cooks in Wilmington. They are very professional and gracious with their portions. Tried the chicken parm for the first time a few nights ago and I am in ahhh. Every bite was just heavenly. The portion was so large, I ate on it for days. The restaurant is very clean. The wait staff are your typical older college crowd. I typically tip the cooks as well as the wait staff. The taste and quality of the food out-weigh the mediocre attention of the wait staff. Pretty sure they got voted #1 Italian restaurant in Wilmington because of their cook/s.

My wife and I found ourselves with an unexpected date night so we settled on Italian. I'm so happy we came here. We came in around 615in the evening and were seated quickly. Not too long after the restaurant began to fill up. They take reservations and I suggest you call if you can. They display a sign boasting about their service and I do have to say it was pretty good. Our server was quick and attentive. We ordered cocktails and when mine came out I was disappointed at the size of my old fashioned. But it packed a punch and my wife commented the same on her espresso martini. The table bread was tasty and the olive oil was good. Our entrees were really good. My wife quickly finished off her pasta primavera and I really enjoyed my veal parmesan. Our bill was about what we expected and while it's not the cheapest meal around, the service and quality are top notch. We won't hesitate to return and highly suggest a visit.

Asked for the full wine menu to be brought over: never arrived, ordered waters: 20 minute wait (first, only brought the sparkling water for my fiancé and then I had to wait another 10 for my own water), ordered a bottle of wine: 10 minute wait. The only thing that came fast was the food which was great, but that was only ordered after waiting probably 30 minutes at the table already. We weren't really checked on while eating, and I want to say it took 20 minutes for the waiter to come over for us to request our check after finishing (+ another 10 waiting for him to actually bring it over). She told us about all of the specials and gave us suggestions to help us select our meal, honestly her personality alone made us want to come back but the food sealed the deal. We started with the Filet Tartine which absolutely blew us away, then shared the beef Wellington and the brussells, this was our first time having a Wellington and on top of being delicious the tableside service was outstanding! The side of brussells were the star for sure, with pancetta and apricot, savory but sweet. So amazing. We also shared a few drinks throughout the meal, the tiramisu martini, the lemon meringue, gardens of Augustus, and the10 year tawny, everything was amazing, though we're definitely coming back for the tiramisu martinis! And finally, don't get me started on the view, the large windows face out over the river and look out to the battleship, we got there right as the sun was setting and added to the romance of it all. Overall we had the best Valentines anniversary of 4 years thanks the Ella and her team at Sugo, Thanks!

My vodka sauce (and one of my friend's as well) was only lukewarm and very thin, more like a watery tomato soup than a sauce. Oddly, the noodles themselves were extremely hot, but so soft that it was hard to even pick them up without them breaking apart. My husband ordered a baked ziti, and his dish was even worse, the noodles were completely overdone and lacked any structure. You could not stir the cheese in without the noodles shredding. When we brought this up, the staff seemed a bit confused, so we showed them how easily the noodles were falling apart. Instead of being apologetic or acknowledging the issue, the response felt more like, "Okay, so what do you want?" which came across as a bit abrasive and dismissive. They did still charge us for our appetizer and drinks (one cocktail and a soda), which felt a bit off given the situation. It wasn't necessarily about the cost, but more about the lack of effort to make things right, it just didn't feel like there was much care in how the situation was handled. We've had better experiences on Resy before, so this visit was disappointing. Atmosphere was ok. Temp was fine.

We were guided by other Yelpers' reviews. When booking our reservation, we opted to sit at the kitchen counter, which I recommend if possible. Unfortunately, our experience was incredibly disappointing. Our group of friends ordered our entire meal at once and had just received our appetizers when a staff member abruptly came to our table and, in a very rude and confrontational manner, told us to "be quiet" because we were being too loud. We understand that restaurants have to maintain a comfortable atmosphere for all guests, and if our volume had become an issue, a polite and discreet request would have been completely appropriate. Instead, we felt embarrassed and scolded. The interaction left us so uncomfortable that one member of our party immediately asked for the check and told them we would be leaving before our entrées were even served. Rather than apologizing, showing any empathy, or attempting to salvage the situation, the staff simply brought the bill, set it on the table, and walked away. What was most disappointing wasn't being asked to lower our voices--it was how we were treated afterward. Hospitality is about making guests feel welcome, even when an awkward situation arises. There was no apology, no acknowledgment that the interaction could have been handled better, and no effort whatsoever to make things right. Given the restaurant's reputation, we expected exceptional food paired with exceptional hospitality. Sadly, while we may never know how the main course would have been, the service ensured we won't be returning.
