    Italian beef with hair! Gross!
    Alec C.

This location is absolutely terrible. Overpriced. Staff is rude. Italian beefs are dry. Peppers are just cut up bell peppers. You have to pay extra for au jus. French fries are gross. Taste like bagged fries from the freezer section. And to top it off my wife got a hair in hers. Go somewhere else this place sucks.

    Custom deep dish pizza pie

My first time here. No seating inside. More of a takeout place. Asked if we could sit on the stool table but suggested if they put an umbrella for the picnic table outside we could sit there so that was nice and convenient so thank you for that . They have deep dish , double dough and pan style pizzas, salads, sandwiches, entrees, pastas. For deep dish pizzas it takes some time for it to be prepared so went to run an errand asked how long about 45 minutes was told came back and ok pizza was warm enough but would have wanted hot and gooey but I guess I can't really fault them for that its take out and it might have been there already for me before I came. It was tasty I like the sauce somewhat crushed tomato not too sweet or salty . The back edge of crust a little to hard crunch maybe do a butter crust or ask for it to be softer just my preference. I enjoyed the pizza over all . Will go back to try other stuff

You've got to be kidding me.

Tried to place an order online for a pizza carryout and their website didn't work. I tried multiple browser's and on my laptop.

Always a go to for pizza, but tonight wasn't up to par. Skimpy on the toppings! Have they changed their cook?

What more is there to say, "Average." Rosati's Pizza is okay in a pinch, but I believe they are working more on reputation than quality.

There's a large lot behind the building that is shared with the driving range, The Y and the orthopedic center. Some parking is allowed along the street in front of the building but that was full. There's plenty available which is always a nice problem to have. I really liked the industrial design inside. It still felt cozy in spite of what is generally considered harsh. The dark wood and metalwork made a giant space feel smaller, in a good way. It wasn't terribly busy on the night we visited so the service was excellent. There were plenty of staff on hand as well, so I can't imagine that the service isn't also great on busier nights. Where I felt let down was in the food itself. The artichoke dip appetizer was my favorite thing. We also ordered a pizza to share and, while it wasn't awful, it wasn't that good. It WAS perfectly cooked, but nothing had flavor. The crust was blah, the sausage tasted like nothing, the pepperoni was crispy and the jalapeno peppers were mild enough, but still the only thing I could taste on the pizza. A little salt would go a long way in the dough, and maybe switch to a seasoned sausage. Hopefully they can improve on the flavors and seasoning, because this really is a nice sit-down pizza place.

Continued expansion may be inevitable, so I figured I'd give their food a try see where it stacks up against other chain pizza stores. For Pi Day (March 14th) they had a special of a 6" mini pizza for free with the purchase of a 20oz soda. I got extra cheese and linguisa (a type of sausage) on the pizza. I also ordered six garlic not-knots for an appetizer. The garlic not-knots were very good. I didn't read the item description before ordering since I assumed they were just garlicky dough, so I was pleasantly surprised that they had cheese on/in them and a little crunch from the baked cheese. The pizza was ok. The linguista didn't stand out like I hoped it would and the amount of cheese on the pizza is what I would have expected it normally have, so I don't know if they added extra or not. That said, I'd rather have their pizza than Domino's, Pizza Hut, Toppers, or Little Caesars. Papa John's is still my preferred chain pizza store though. Two things that may hurt this Mountain Mike's chances of succeeding: price and location. Their pizzas are pretty expensive (for example, a 14" cheese pizza is $25). I definitely recommend signing up for their rewards to get discounts rather than paying full price. As for location, this particular strip mall is always packed, making parking very difficult. Being in a busy area not far from Southridge Mall is fine if you want a lot of potential customers, but that location might be a turn off once people try to visit.

Plenty of tables when we got there, and were seated right away. It's a converted home (remodeled long ago), and there are multiple rooms for dining, which give it a more relaxed feel. The design/decor does look a bit dated. Our server got right to us. Got menu and ordered a couple of Sangrias. The Sangrias were red, refreshing, and a good amount. Given the lateness of the evening, we didn't get any appetizers, but I would have liked to try the Calamari (next time). We ended up with a small "special" pizza and the Lobster Ravioli. There were several choice for sauce of the ravioli and I chose butter garlic. While waiting for our entrees, we were served a basket of garlic bread. The bread was fresh, warm, and plenty of butter and garlic. A nice treat. The ravioli also came with a small house salad. Good, but nothing out of the ordinary. It didn't take too long for the entrees (we were the only customers), and they were hot, flavorful, and good portion sizes. Both were good, but if I had to be honest, not great. The pizza crust was thicker than we like. And the ravioli pasta was very good, but the filling was more like a paste with small pieces of lobster. Definitely could have benefitted by having more lobster. The service was very good, up to the point that we got our meals. After that, we never saw our waitress, until we were finished with our meal, and even then we had to ask someone to find them. Maybe they were busy cleaning up? Not sure. Overall, okay, but with some attention to some finer details could be so much better. Didn't end up on our "gotta get back to that place" list :(
